Username: Prairiefox Relation to your character: Older Sister Name: Kenna Frene Age: 21 Gender: Female Hometown: Ecruteak City/Currently living in Anistar City Personality: She much more calm and patient than most of her family, received from her mother’s side, but is very easy to panic. She’s very elegant with her mannerism and is kind to everyone she meets. One thing she shares with Koru is her joyful outlook on the world. She knows the world has changed and worries for her sister but she has complete trust that Koru knows to make the right decisions, but from time to time will become maternal and act for Koru’s safety even when she doesn’t really need to. Biography: Kenna is the eldest daughter of Bryne and Cybele Frene and the older sister of Koru and Kenny Frene. Kenna was born about 3 years after the couple was married and was birthed at home. Growing up she was showing signs of being shy like he mother but reactions proved she had her father's zeal. When she was 7 years old she hit a major growth spurt and not being used to the height she started to have numerous accidents because of her imbalance. To help Cybele started to take her to the theater where she could practice with the other dancers. Doing so helped improve not only her grace, but it also gave her more self-esteem, but she even now is prone to falling down, but she does so with confidence.
When Kole was born Kenna took her under her wing but she and Koru acted more like best friends than mere sisters. She admired Koru’s enthusiasm for things and knew it would serve her well in the future. Around the time she was 16 she started to think about what she wanted to do career wise. She took a part time job helping her mom at the theater after school while she was mulling this over. She always loved the world of advertising and graphic design so she began applying to places for internships. She was surprised when she got an offer all the way from the Kalos region, Anistar Entertainment. She found it nerve racking that she could work so far away from home, but her parents supported going for it, and though Koru would be heartbroken she understood that Kenna was an adult and was going to go do big things somewhere. Of course she finished school but when she was 18 she left home for the job.
She wasn't home for when Koru disappeared during the town festival but she flew straight home after her mother called her hysteric. By the time she got back home Koru had been found and she embraced her as she was being carried out of the woods by her father. She wanted to stay but her bosses back in Kalos were demanding her return, som kind of situation arose there as well and they needed her help. She was ready to say no but Koru told her to go. She was shocked but Koru insisted and as per her sister's wishes she went back, but the worry of the event has stayed in her mind up to the present time.
The next couple of years in the Kalos region went overall very well, she went from interning as an assistant to becoming a junior manager for the design department. Now despite her upscale job and living, her roots as a trainer’s daughter weren’t uprooted; in the same time she had been there she explored and obtained her own personal team of pokemon for the occasional training and battling. She plans to one day have a pokemon battle with her sister when she’s experienced enough.
Trivia: - She tends to lose her glasses a lot - Her hair is naturally dark blue, but when she turned 13 she gave herself two bold blonde highlights to make herself look cooler. - She hates being so far away from home but at the same time loves the Kalos region and plans on treating her family to a big vacation there one day. - Her hair is designed after a blowtorch flame.

Pokemon: Amaterasu the Blaziken Amaterasu is Kenna's Blaziken and was her first pokemon. It was given to Kenna as a Torchic for her 13th birthday by her Uncle, Yosaku, from the Hoenn region. They are incredibly close and Kenna relies on it for most of everything. She is named after a japanese sun deity

Pokemon: Pyroar After she arrived in the Kalos region Kenna took her first time off from her new job to explore the region and challenge herself. While on this little journey she captured a Litleo and it eventually evolved into Pyroar. Combined with Amaterasu she considers them a powerhouse duo.

Pokemon: Furfrou Furfrou was given to Kenna as a bonus when she was promoted at her work. He's incredibly sassy and doesn't really listen to her, but he acts well when they're around other in social events or large crowds. He likes to sit on Kenna's feet to keep her from moving.

He's exuberant and doesn't know when to give up on anything. He'll finish anything he starts and always puts others before himself. Those very close to him, such as his wife and two older brothers, know that he is also very sensitive and not afraid to cry when the time is appropriate, though he doesn't mind expelling tears of joy as well. With his kids he tends to act like a large child or a fun loving Ursaring. Cybele is a very shy woman but kind with a charitable heart. She let's her husband and children have all the excitement and prefers to keep a calm demeanor, but she is one to become easily flustered, especially by the antics of her husband and children. She becomes very empowered when she sees people with a great passion, it seems to almost invigorate her as it does the other person. She likes to be hopeful when times are bleak. As a child she was weak and ill up into her mid teens so she always tried to hope one day she would be well enough to live for the future, and when she did she never lost her hopeful sight. Biography: Bryne was born in Vermilion City in the Kanto region as the youngest son. His older brothers were already off on pokemon journeys when he was young but admired them and aimed to go out as soon as he was old enough. His eldest brother Hugo went off soon after his journey to the Hoenn region. His second eldest brother Yosaku went towards the Johto region. Bryne began his journey with nothing but a Bulbasaur, but they proved to be powerful and soon were able to go for the league challenge in the region. He lost, but it only made him want to try again, and a invitation from Yosaku took him to Johto. He went on the second leg, but things hit a bump. When he and Yosaku went to Ecruteak City to take on the gym they were met by the Kimono Girls at the dance theater. Bryne fell head over heels in love with the youngest daughter of the leader, Cybele. He left Yosaku to his own devices while he talked with her and learned about her and the town. He found out she was ill and didn't get to go outside very much, and without thinking he promised her to take her travelling, something that two people that have just met would not say to one another. She loved the gesture and made him agree to it with a pinkie swear. He and Yosaku finished their business with the gym and were off to the next town, but he didn't want to leave. He was afraid of never seeing Cybele again, but she surprised him by running to him outside and forcing him to go. She reminded him that he already promised her that he would return so there was no problem of him leaving now.
5 years passed after that promise and Bryne had continued his journey with his brother. In that time he became renowned as a young genius with fire type pokemon and with his brother became know as the "Flame Bending Brothers". Both tied and lost in the Johto tournament and went their separate ways to train even harder than before. Lastly, he returned to Ecruteak and he and Cybele had a heartfelt reunion. She was better than he had last seen her and offered to take her on his journey. She agreed and left home for the first time. Most of the time it was overwhelming but also exciting. When asked Bryne says this was the favorite part of his pokemon journey. This time of adventure for the two only strengthened their love for one another. Years later they finally settled down back in Cybele’s hometown of Ecruteak City. Bryne integrated rather quickly and got a job working with a construction company while Cybele took over the dance theater from her mother while her twin sister Regina went off on her own journey. Bryne still battles in tournaments from time to time but after his family began to grow he started to take part less and less. During the time Koru went missing he was incredibly distraught by the event and after he found her didn't let her out of his sight. His worries increased when Koru seemingly lost her very spirit and her love of pokemon, she didn't even want to come along with him and Arcanine on their annual camping trips anymore. About two years passed and he was working on the restoration of the burnt bell tower. He fell into the lower levels by accident and found a baby Cyndaquil, abandoned and scared. He brought it home and gave it medical treatment, explaining what had happened to Cybele. They both worried at how Koru reacted to it being there, but Bryne for the first time put his foot down and told her it needed help it was staying there til it recovered. She got mad at him and locked herself in her room for the rest of the day. Bryne felt horrible raising his voice and was comforted by Cybele explaining Koru's reaction was normal compared to what happened in the woods, but Bryne was still blaming himself for the entire incident. Trivia: - Cybele usually has her eyes closed ((much like a Skitty)), but her eyes are golden- similar to her daughters Koru and Kenna. Kenny has Bryne's dark blue eyes. - Cybele is the only one in her family, including her own mother/Koru's grandmother, that isn't a trainer and as such doesn't own any pokemon, but she does train with and use a Espeon for the dance theater performances. - Bryne loves the outdoors and camps out in the backyard with his children more than sleeping inside sometimes. - Bryne's Arcanine is always out of it's pokeball and serves as a excellent guard of the home. - Bryne's first pokemon was a Bulbasaur, contrary to his reputation as a fire type specialist, and he rarely talks about it's whereabouts. - Bryne's two older brothers live in Johto and Hoenn, so he doesn't get to see Hugo as often as Yosaku. However once a year they have a family reunion at one of their homes and it tends to get a little rowdy no matter where it's held at.

Pokemon: Arcanine Arcanine is one of Bryne's strongest pokemon and his most loyal partner. Growlithe was Bryne's first catch as a trainer and became a formidable powerhouse later on. Despite the difference in types it was very close with Venasaur before it went to live at the Sanctuary.

Pokemon: Venasaur Venasaur was Bryne's first pokemon when he began his journey as a trainer years ago. They were an incredible team, but as time went on he began to see the appeal of fire types. With enough training he managed to help build it's immunity to fire, it's main weakness. He doesn't talk about Venasaur much these days, not even Koru and Kenna know where it is now. What happened was when Bryne and Cybele were in the Hoenn region Venasaur saved his life from an avalanche, but he was greatly injured in the process. To ensure that Venasaur would be safe and happy he left Venasaur at a pokemon sanctuary, where it originally healed from it's injuries. It hurt them both a lot to separate but Bryne thought Venasaur's happiness was more important than his own. Hugo lives close to it so he makes sure to go and check on it for Bryne every so often and Bryne still talks through video phone with the caretaker there.

Pokemon: Magmortar Magmortar is one to a set of twin Magmars that are owned by Bryne and his twin owned by Bryne's brother Hugo. They were raised from the time Bryne and Hugo started their pokemon journeys. When the boys took part in tag battles both Magomortars were extreme powerhouses in battle.

Pokemon: Umehime the Espeon Umehime is one of the eeveelution pokemon that perform at the Ecruteak Dance Theater. She along with the other Eevees are trained by Cybele, so it could be considered that Umehime is hers, but she is not. Umehime is the theater's pokemon, not a trainer caught pokemon.

Username: Prairiefox Relation to your character: Cousin Name: Staci Joule Age: 11 Gender: Female Hometown: Sunnyshore City Personality: Staci and Koru are almost one in the same, she is excitable and up for anything, the only difference is that Staci doesn’t quite know when to calm her passion down, whereas Koru can be calm and go with the flow. She also gets herself worked up rather quickly, her mood kinda changes at the drop of a hat sometimes. It doesn’t help that her brother eggs her on almost all the time. She and her mother share their over-competitive spirit, but Staci doesn’t realize how alike they are and will call her mother out on her behavior without doing anything about her own. Biography: Staci is daughter of Regina and Bolton Joule. She and her older twin brother Stanton are in constant competition with each other whether it is over chores, homework or pokemon. She plans on taking over the Sunnyshore gym as its leader one day while he hopes to become an archeologist. She’s constantly annoyed with his smarts and tries to get the upper hand on him, but most of the time she falls behind. Since they were young Staci and Koru were the best of friends, and still are, but when Staci found out about her ambition to become a fire pokemon master Staci took it as a fun challenge to become a master first. When she heard from her cousin Koru that she was going to be entering Ordell Academy she couldn’t believe it. She went straight to her parents and begged them to enroll her at a trainer school too, preferably Ordell so she could be with Koru. The issue was that the application period was already over for Ordell but they were able to apply for her to get into Ashur Hills Academy, an academy that was in Sinnoh Region, so she was still close to home. While a little disappointed she was determined to go and make herself the best trainer she could be. She called Koru to tell her and they made a deal that the end of their first year to do battle as a test of future rivals! Before going to Ashur Hills her mother gave her a Shinx to take along, since students would be allowed to have pokemon to learn alongside. When she left she promised that she would train to become a worthy rival for Koru and make a step towards her own dreams.
