The emphasis of these events lies in the whimsical beer and pretzels thing we all want every now and then. Hence the references and whatnot. I had help from the number one Girls und Panzer fangurl, who did the achievements. Yaaaay.
So yeah, here's the latest in a line of Sunday Funday things I did. Feedback is always most welcome.
Hey, hey guys, heeeeeeeeey! Guess what?

Tanks are awesome.
What do you need to bring along?
A vehicle that will act as your tank, think of something along the lines of a Rhino or Leman Russ size-wise, it may be a bit bigger (no Baneblade of Manta-sized models though!) or a bit smaller (however no bikes, stuff mounted on 40mm bases staan or Epic scale minis). Also, if you'd like to bring along a wussy type of skimmer, like the Hammerhead or an Annihilation Barge, that's always an option, because a tank is a tank, even if those ugly pieces of junk don't have treads with which to crush things. Also, a lack of a turret shouldn't deter you, for the sake of the scenario all vehicles have a single turret with a 360 degree firing arc.
Give your vehicle a cool name that instils fear and above all else sounds extremely METAL like.. FURY, WAR PIG, MURDER INC., BERLIN OR BUST orrrrr DRIVING MISS DAISY. Why? The Rule of Cool is in full effect and it's very metal.
Aside from a tank you'll also need a few dice, a measuring device, a sense of adventure, a heart of steel and the desire to see your enemies destroyed in great big balls of fire and death.
STATS
Every player has a tank with the following stats:
BS 4
F 13
S 12
R 10
HP 3
Type: Vehicle (Tank)
Wargear:
Cannon (48" S7 AP3 heavy 1)
Smoke launchers
SCENARIO
It's really simple: x-amount of tanks enter, one tank leaves. Unlike previous scenarios which were team-based this one is a big old free-for-all. The commander who scores the most kills may at the end of the day adopt the pretentious victor pose while the losers are forced to perform the dance of shame.
SCORING
- Ranged kill = 1 pt
- Ramming kill = 2 pts
SPECIAL RULES
Random activation
Every player has a uniquely colours d6 or token that will be tossed into a dice bag. At the start of every turn these will be drawn out one by one, thus randomizing the player order every turn.
Send in the next one!
People who get blown away will rejoin the game the next turn. Smoke launchers, if used, will be recharged, though any power-ups found before death are lost.
Driver! Start stacking shells!
If a tank doesn't move the Cannon becomes heavy D3 instead of heavy 1.
Michael Stackpole was here.
When a tank loses its last HP it will explode in a great ball of fire and shrapnel. The wreck is immediately replaced by a crater and the destroyed tank is brought back into play the next turn.
Craters count as Difficult Terrain and remain in play until all spare craters have been used up, after which the first crater put down is removed from play and used to mark the latest kill.
POWERRRRRR UP!
Scattered across the table are several small crates, containing a random power-up that is immediately generated the moment a tank moves into contact with it. A tank can never have more than one power-up in use. The moment a tank drives over a crate whilst still having a previous power-up still in use the old one is immediately replaced by a new one. No backsies.
The moment a crate has been activated a new one pops up, 4D6" away from the previous point, the direction determined by a scatter die. If the scatter takes the crate off table or onto a terrain feature it will instead stop 1" away from this.
Powerup generator (roll D6):
1. Camo netting - gain Shrouded for D3 turns
2. Super fuel - become Fast for D3 turns
3. Ablative armour - gain +1 armour to your side and rear facings for D3 turns
4. Armour piercing shell - gain Armour Bane on your next shot
5. Fzorgle! - you teleport to anywhere else on the map, though you may not teleport onto terrain or within 2" of another tank
6. Laser Destroyer - for one turn your main weapon is upgraded to 72" S9 AP1 Heavy 1
SORE THROAT
Destroy enough enemy tanks and thou shalt be rewarded. Destroy three tanks and you may roll once on the Ace Reward Table. Destroy seven tanks and you get to roll once on the Mega Ace Rewards Table. In the unlikely event of managing to kill ten enemy tanks you may roll once more on the Ace Reward Table.
KILL THREE ENEMY TANKS AND GAIN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING ACE REWARDS (roll D3):
1. +1 BS
2. +1 HP
3. +1 AP
KILL SEVEN ENEMY TANKS AND GAIN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING MEGA ACE REWARDS (roll D3):
1. It Will Not Die
2. Ignores Cover
3. Tank Hunters
