(Final Word count
Elsa: 7840
Jack: 8173
Buck: tbd 2659)

The sun was already pouring through the mouth of the cave like a golden fall. It was still cold outside, but judging by the light, late morning. The longest Elsa had ever slept since waking.

The gentle song of a small bird just outside the snow cave gently charmed Elsa to waking. Her eyes slowly cracked open to see nothing but a blurrly blue mass of soft fur.

Her nostrils flared. Oh-no.

Her eyes widened while her head slowly retracted. Her face had been pressed against his neck while her framehad been snuggly curled agianst his. Her own paws were tucked tight against her own frame, like a cozy litlle fuzz pod.

Was he still asleep? She searched around his frame to see any signs of him actually being awake, not thinking to move away as she made sure he was still asleep.

10+ wake.

As Elsa head shifted from laying on him, Jack's body released a soft sleeping deep breath.

He started to wake, as did the realization slowly come to him, that he was finally warm. Paws stretched out, with all four legs, as toes grasped at the the side of the cave.

A soft purr radiated to the joy and contentment of the warm. Eyes remained closed as his head tilted to stoke his blue chest with his cat like tongue. Realization that, Elsa was still beside him, didn't come in his drozeed kitten state.

Lifting his arm, Jack gentle stroking moved to his arm and pit. As his paw stretched back and raised, he paused as he felt the other mass in his movement.

Stopping, all purring stopped. Blue eyes opened, and his head turned and slowly tilted back....

Elsa continued to stare at Mr. Frost as he slowly showed signs of stirring. Her frame begun to tense with same pace as he begun to woke. Very carefully she begun to scoot backward. Very carefully.

Than his gaze held her still. Icy eyes narrowed as she stared back at him. Had he noticed? How long had be been awake? Her chest rose and fell rapidly as she failed to come up with any rational answer. If he had been awake, he was a sick twisted.... but how did she get over there?

Hopefully he hadn't noticed. The pit in the bottom of her stomach said otherwise.

Maybe if she didn't say anything.... maybe. They can't see without noise right?

"Hey, good morning." Jack's spoke just before his maw lips pulled back in a yawn, a bright pink to tongue poked and stiffen.

Letting his maw close, jack was actually rather surprised to see her still there. She had most likely had just woken...

Oh, well.

Laying his head back down on the cave floor, Jack's nuzzled it gently in ground. His eyes closed once more, and legs pulled closer to his body.

"How are you feeling?" Jack asked, hoping that if it looked like he wasn't paying attention to her, she wouldn't get mad at him again.

Elsa's nose wrinkled as Jack, as she thought, he opened his maw. At least this time he was not trying to be witty. Still, this confirmed that he was more than aware that they had been 'cuddling' all night.

"Hungry and aching." She answered sharply.

Her limbs shook as she worked to come to all four paws. It was a great improvement from how much she could move the former night. She was determined to move and be able to hunt something. Her fall was not a bad fall, just icy and surprising. The ice meant nothing to her, she was the ice.

With paws tucked under her frame she looked back to the wide yawn of Mr. Frost.

"I assume you are well?" Came her fridged inquiry with a scrunch of her nose.

Somewhere amongst the icy tone there was some sincerity.

Jack remained still, as Elsa rose and tested herself.

"I am glad you are not hurt." Jack spoke, letting his eyes remain closed as she managed to make an inquiry about him once more.

"Yes. I am well, thank you." Mr. Frost added, not bothering to try and test his body. Trusting out would be fine, he was hungry though.....

He knew that much.

Taking in a slow breath, Jack released it softly. He should really move and leave...

Jack shifted his paws, and pulled himself to his paws. A grunt left the snow cat as he slowly rose. Turning himself, he remained hunched to crawl out of the cave.

Elsa was just ready to attempt to shuffle out of the ice cave when Jack himself moved. Her cold glare continued to watch him carefully. All of his answers went ignored. What was his game now?

At least he was leaving. She would be left alone again, by herself, and safe from snowballs.

Well, he could leave, she would quietly allow him to leave. She would just wait. Carefully she begun to lay herself back down to the ground. Her chin rest on the ground whle her head turned away. Her forepaws crossed under her jaw. Her icy eyes were sheathed behind their lids.

Quiet. It would be nice and quiet. He could leave if he wanted to.

Elsa's movements went unnoticed by Jack as he wiggled and shuffled his way out of the little cave.

Little stubbed tail left the cave as back paws scrapped and pushed him forward.

"Say, 'hello' to the moon for me." Came from outside of the cave, from Jack.

Raising to his full height, Mr. Frost took the time to shake out his thick fur coat. Leaning back, Jack stretched out his back with a relaxing forward dip.

Looks like the two of them would be taking separate ways, perhaps it was for the better. She seemed to like the idea of being alone, which was something Jack could not figure out.

But perhaps it's what the moon wanted, maybe some pumas liked being alone. At any case, the morning was beautiful and fresh, which should not be wasted

Elsa cracked an eye open, but refused to look toward him. Of course he was leaving. That was good right? And he could darn well talk to the moon himself. Lazy, good for nothing.

Perhaps it would be nice to sleep for a little longer. She drew in a deep breath. Part of her wanted to say something and have the last word,. But she couldn't think of one. Her mind was too busy raging war over whether or not she was actually disappointed he was leaving. He was the first other she had meet since waking up to such a cold world. Maybe he was the answer to all of her questions to the moon.

The mood could have have more dignity in who it sent...

Ultimately she came to the conclusion that it was a wast of thought. He was gone now.

From jest beyond the woods another took notice of the young frost-colored male exiting what appeared to be a small lump in the ground. Anyone would have easily passed that off as a snow-covered rock. However, to a blessed eye it was a wonderful hiding place.

The frosted male said something... well tuned ears perked forward. Something about the Moon? There was another still hiding in there. For now, there would be more watching and waiting.

As Jack moved forward, he paused in front raised paw step, to take one last look at the cave. Taking a lost hope, that maybe the cold hearted one...no, that was too mean to call her such-no one could be that frozen hearted. Right?

Releasing a sigh, Jack turned his head back. Perhaps he was giving up too easily? Shaking his head, he came to the conclusion that he had done everything t he thought he could do, and he couldn't make anyone do anything they didn't want to. That was her choice of missed out fun...

But still-

No! Echoed like a stubborn cub in his thoughts. The Nahtill made up her mind, she didn't want to be around him.

With a huff, Jack dug his paws deep In The ground just before lunched his worn body into a dash against his grogie and warn body's demands. If he didn't leave then he felt he wouldn't ever leave at all...

Perhaps the ice queen was right in her wants, one was better off alone...

He would find some fun else where...

Elsa's ears flicked back to hear the paws crushing the snow. However, the sound seemed to be going in the opposite direction. Pretty soon that lonely feeling blanketed her once more. It was as before she meet Mr. Frost.

Well, whatever. He was only in this for the torment. Probably out to see if there was someone else out there to pester.

Her claws mindlessly scratched at the ground as she begun to mull over her dark and lonely thoughts again. Eyes remained closed to the world. She wouldn't want to open them again and be reminded she was alone, or perhaps that he had somehow come back.

The other one took off. Perhaps it was empty? Frosty could have just been talking to himself. In any case he was gone.

Carefully the ice-born male crept his way through the trees and toward the cave rock. Whether or not someone was still in there didn't matter. It was worth a look.

Paws dug in the north tundra snow, as determination was his only strength. The weight and wore of the last night weighted heavily on the snow cats paws....

It wasn't long after he had started his lope though the trees, a stumble caught his paw. A pant left the Tahtill, as his breathing escalated...

Though a stubborn will kept the pace from fleeting. However, hard fast will could only go so far...

(Vary low roll. Vary....low roll. sad )

In a instance, his paws gave out from under him. Chin and fluffed chest fell forward as his legs gave out from fatigue.

Maw dove fast first right into the icy ground, darkness took the snow cat as it sent his body into a wild tumble. It was the grace of a steadfast tree that cased the fall...

Slamming agains the trunk, Jack's mass cause a fluffy fall of snow to clump and Barry the snow cat.

Elsa was soon greeted once again to the sound of foot prints returning to the cave. In a moment her spirits brightened a little. Oh, so he did come back. Maybe he was just getting some food and was coming back to play. Well, that was gentlemanly of him. She could allow that one.

Her ear perked back. The footsteps were so soft. Maybe he was trying to be quiet in fear of waking her? That was thoughtful of the little child. Perhaps she could now call him a boy. Not quite a man, but on his way,.

"If you were hope-" Elsa started with her nose held high while she turned her head to see the entrance. Instantly her eyes eidened while her throat went dry.

The cheerful face of Mr. Frost was not present. Instead a dark face with pale green eyes was watching her. Large fange, larger than she had ever seen before glared at her from under the other cat's maw.

The fur along her ridge stoon on end while her claws unsheathed. Her nose wrinkled to give display to her own inferior (yet still sharp) set of icy white teeth.

It had been still early in the morning, when a lone Ice Tahtll had taken interest in what had seemed to be the sense presence of two others. One felt to be different then the other, yet partially the same. Like the second half to what should have been a whole. Notably a Tahtll, slinked out what must have been the mouth of a cave. Last time he knew, B'alam did just pop out of rocks, they where woven-if the Grand Weaver deemed such. Bucky's curiosity had gotten the better of him when he decided to see what more laid in the cave, as he felt another spirit. The Tahtll that had taken off hand seemed to sense him, or notice him.

Careful steps took him carefully to the mouth of the cave. Slowly pale brown eyes lowered and peered into the little rocky ice chamber. There was another spirit in there, he could sense it...

Buck only watched at the icy, and sharp, kitten hissed and appeared to be ready to launch herself at him. He blinked a few times as he debated saying anything. The Nahtlil only seemed mad. Like This one seemed to have no interest in company. Her low growls of 'be gone' were a wonderful clue. A pretty obvious one, he hadn't seen another so bristled and angry before. What else could it have meant? Though....

"Are-" He started before being cut off by a quick swipe of the claw-filled paw. Buck pulled his head back swiftly. The Tahtll had just missed a sharp blow to the maw. Though, what was her problem? Quirked a dark brow, Buck dared to open his maw and try again..

"Do-" His words were once more cut short and only welcomed with another hiss and swipe. This time he was greeted with the threat of his eyes being removed. Jerking his head large head back, His brow narrowed upon the Nahtlil.

It was very pointless to continue any conversation with this one. Clearly she had no interest in carrying on a civil talk. Carefully, icy large paws backed Bucky out of the cave. Nubbed butt wiggled a little as he very precisely exited the hole of claws. To think, something so very sharp resided in such a place. No wonder the other Tahtll was quick on leaving as well.

"Wow..." left Buck in a sigh. Shaking his head, he heaved in a slow sigh and turned his head. Pale brown eyes looked up toward the direction he saw the other male run. His ear carefully turned to the hole, careful to listen for any indication that the sharp and very bristled Nahtlil. It would be very unfortunate if she decided it a good idea to strike at him. Given the welcome he received it wasn't a unlikely scenario...

As no approaching sound came from the cave, Buck turned his full attention to the direction that the other Tahtll had raced off to.

Hmm...

Curious, perhaps the other Tahtll would be more willing to have a conversation. Or at least a exchange of words before showing a flurry of claws and distemper. Without further thought, Bucky sprinted in the direction of the other male. It wasn't long before his sharp eyes spotted a fresh lump in the snow. Seeing the strange sight, Buck quickened his pace. It looked to be a b'alam's body!

"Hey!" He called, a bit confused to why the lump was not moving at all. "You there?" The Tahtll's voice raised slightly more and trailed neatly off with a question. He wasn't entirely so sure why the Tahtll was no laying in the snow. Perhaps he had taken a fall? (613)

Vary, slowly Jack's blue eyes took in the sight of blurred white around him. Closing his eyes, the cat felt a little woozy like his head wanted to swim right off his shoulders. He had hoped closing his eyes would help, what happened-and why did his snout and maw ache.

Subtly the pile of snow started to stir, how much time had passed, did he even get knocked out? Could he even stand, last thing he did recall
Was running....then not.

The pile of snow birthed, the Blue frosty mane of the Tahtll. Slowly as if to test and see if his legs even worked, the adult rose from the pile of snow.

There was a 'buzz', in his ear with the middle of some kind of sound. Shaking his coat and head he tried to be rid of it, as the Sight of a dark mass approched.

Puzzlement befell, the white and blue snow cat. Who was that, and where they trying to say something?

It wasn't long before, Bucky came to a sliding halt upon reaching the breathing mound of snow. It was indeed the Tahtll that had left the prickly one a moment before. Briefly, his brown eyes looked around to see if there would be any explanation to what had happened. A few thoughts came to mind, Judging by the snow, he likely had tripped or collapsed and slid a little. Neither sounded pleasant.

"You took quite a spill there..." Bucky noted as she returned attention to the snow covered blue fuzball.

Pale eyes scanned over the other b'alam's frame, to see if there was anything else wrong to be seen. There was still no response. Most likely he was probably a bit out of it, still.

Well, the Tahtll looked to be okay, aside from the dazed look upon his maws. Surprisingly he didn't seem to have any scrapes or claw marks on him. Which, was admittedly a bit surprising considering the sharp hole that he had been seen scampering off from. Perhaps, they had known each other? Releasing a breath at the thought, Buck turned his head to look back to where the hole was and the very bristled Nahtll had been. It was almost to make sure that she wasn't there....

"Can you stand?" Bucky inquired, as his attention turned back to the other Tahtll. Brown eyes looked back to the blue and white fluff, another slow breath released his maw. A large whoolie paw reached out to pat the frost off the back of the other. He had really taken quiet the spill, but for the most part looked like he was okay.

"I can take you back to your friend..." The dark Tahtll was polite to offer, though he wasn't sure the use of 'friend' was used right in reference for that spiky Nahtll. Though, he didn't know what else to call the other. The fact that he was in the hole and still in one piece, show at very least they got along with each other. She could actually be rather quiet fond of him.....and a friend.

If one could call that prickly icicle that. It wasn't his place to judge. (366)
