- Death Glare – All Cockatrice have the ability to petrify, and sometimes kill, others with nothing more than their gaze. Gives a whole new meaning to ‘they were glaring daggers at me’, huh?
(To help relations with other residents of Halloween special eye glass lenses have been made for Basilisks, Cockatrice, and Gorgons so they don’t accidently murder their friends.)

Personality:
- Strut your Stuff – Sure of himself would be a nice way to put it but Ceiliog is more sure of himself than necessary and he has no problem telling you how awesome he is. He’ll preen and strut and make sure everyone knows he’s there and that they should be paying attention to him and him alone. After all, there can’t be anything else as interesting as he is right?
Defender – Lucky for him all his blustering isn’t always just for show. Once he considers something his; whether it is family, friends, or a possession he will defend that something no matter the odds. He has never backed down from a fight in his life and usually has to be physically restrained when it’s obvious to everyone else he’s going to lose, horribly.
Ruffled Feathers – Unlike his reptilian ancestors Ceiliog can get his feathers ruffled pretty easily. It doesn’t take much to get under his skin which makes him incredibly easy to annoy or rile up. He overreacts to pretty much everything and will be the first person to blow something completely out of proportion. He spilled a glass of water at dinner once. The way he tells it rivaled the biblical flood and he had to hide in his room for a week so his parents couldn’t bring up how he ruined their ability to invite friends over lest he embarrass all of them.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
He was tired of being stuck at home with only his clan and their small village to interact with. They were all used to his BS and he was tired of being ignored so school seemed like a great opportunity to meet new people and learn more ways to show off.
FEAR Ability: Kiss of Death The Charge – x can breathe out a cloud of toxic smoke that wraps around his opponents and causes small bits of them to turn to stone causing extreme pain and halted movements in high doses.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Mysterious (they’re a golden-brown but closed most of the time)
Hair Colour/Style: White/slight red-brown tint. The left half of his head is shaved from his horns down to show off his tattoos
Skin Colour: dark peach
Clothing Style/Colours: Lots of feathers, accessories, sarongs but very little ‘clothes’ except the occasional pair of pants for modesty’s sake. Prefers earthy tones, jewel colors and gold ornaments.
