I am completely disgusted with and disenchanted by gaia. I have been here since 2006. However, the opening of their sister site was the final straw. I want nothing to do with this site. I'm tired of fighting an uphill battle. I'm tired of being insulted by their marketing team on a daily basis. My plan is to donate my items to all of you in this guild because I believe you are the heart of gaia's past. If you are interested in my idea, please vote in the poll or let me know here! I have a ton of items. Far too many to count. I'm honestly not sure how to go about this. If you are interested, I will construct a thread within the next few weeks with all of my items to the best of my abilities.

I completely understand, though. Gaia can beat the fight out of you and it keeps happening to more and more people.
You've always been an active member in this guild and I want to let you know how much I appreciate that. I wish you luck and happiness wherever you go!

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and your support. I will miss you all, and I am sorry to be leaving you behind. I hope this guild will defeat Goldemort! I'll be on for the next few weeks. Then I wish that you all enjoy my hard earned items. heart

Keep your items.
You never know, the marketing team could all die for some unknown reason, and is replaced by one that doesn't piss all over everyone.

It's always disheartening to see another member of this guild give up
but it is totally understandable to be disillusioned and want to leave
I myself have given up in certain ways, like item questing for dream avis
now I'm just here for the roleplaying and the items that I do have

Even though I don't know you, it's always sad to see users go due to Gaia's decline. I think we all feel a bit of disillusionment with the current site. I really only come on here for the guilds I'm active in, I've completely given up on questing. Anyway, that's just my two cents! I wish you well in your future endeavours. (-:
