[Open Class] Trashology 101 (Uru/Desta)

Class Reference

Brenna had parted from him the day before, the parting was sweet but sad. They hugged for hours, laid in bed for what seemed like days just talking. They sat in the room playing music like they used to, especially now that he had picked up a guitar so that she could play on his piano. She had gotten better. He thrilled when they went for a walk with Fraustus and Aster, it was nice having her around - even when she meddles into his life at times. But she had already went back home and he found himself falling back into his old ways of being a grumpy loner and keeping to himself. So much that helped when he tried to do this assignment twice already.

After two attempts and failing at completing the course, the hellhound took a few days to himself and to clean himself off of all the garbage that he was finding hours afterwards. He was a meticulous cleaner when he wanted to be and it thoroughly bugged him that he was finding junk in his clothes. Rolling his shoulders, he walked out of the demon's dorm and toward the junkyard where the trashbot's facility was located. This time was going to be different, he was certain. He did not enjoy not being able to complete tasks, no, it bugged him to know end when he knew he could finish tasks when given. This was no different. This was a class and he was determined. Standing before the facility, Uru'baen took a moment to himself, looking up at the monstrous facility of rust and garbage.

The things Professor Moira was interested in.

Desta had found getting around the halls and even to her dorm was a bit harder than she thought. There were a lot of places and doors and it all seemed endless. Once she'd found her dorm she'd mostly confined herself there, setting it up, working on projects she'd brought with her and some that she'd started. She was happy enough to keep to her growing room of Minipets and working but she was at school.

It was time she at least tried a class. On top of that she'd made something for the girl and boy she'd frightened. She couldn't really remember his name. All she remembered was that he was a Hellhound and she found that they didn't even stay in the monster dorms. She wasn't sure she'd see him anytime soon. So she kept her purse on her and she kept the two hoods in it. They could fold after all. Easy enough to keep with her.

She had only glanced at the class listing when she'd joined her first class. Walking in with her head held high. There weren't as many people around and avoiding eye contact wasn't that hard. So she strode in and blinked in a little surprise.

Wasn't that...?

Good. She could drop off the hoodies and that would be the end of that.

She reached into her purse and felt metal grasp onto her and lift her off the floor. She let out an undignified hiss and turned to glare at her captor but intimidation didn't work on things that weren't living. "Let me down this instant." She bit out, trying to pull free, her tail dragging the ground and writhing its spike along it in distaste.

Uru found himself running inside after he had heard a voice cry out. Instinctively, he ran inside before being scooped up himself. No matter how much he struggled he found himself unable to break himself free. With a snarl, he jerked himself over, digging claws into the trashbot's side.

"Sorry, Professor."

He smashed down a fist heavily into the robot's dome, cashing it to swerve. Looking up, he saw a familiar ghoul, growling inwardly. Of course, it had been her voice that he heard and he was in this now so there was no turning back.

"DESTA, ATTACK THE BOT!"

Desta heard and looked up toward the other student's voice. If only she remembered his name. "What is it with these things?" She asked in annoyance still trying to get free. Attack it? Fine. She would just have to fight more physically than she cared for.

She tried to attack with her spiked tail but it just couldn't reach. She let out another snapping hissing noise.

"They're broken!" he shouted as he hung on to it with all that he could as it moved over uneven ground. He went to swipe at it but missed as a wheel dipped into the floor or garbage... or whatever it is. This place was filthy to begin with. He growled. "Desta, we're gonna have to take out the one we are on to get free and then we can help the other. Got it?"

"Why do they have broken machines?" She snapped back feeling irate and trying hard to struggle. She slammed up her tail again trying to hit the robot again. She was already getting muck on her dress and that was just not going to end well for anyone. This time she managed to smack the thing with her spikes.

"They're Professor Moira's. The junkyard and this facility is the classroom. I recommend we write an apology when we are done!" He shouted back, wining his fist over his shoulder as his claws dug into the metal playing. The whirring of the flashing red light was irritating as it was, but he also had to concern himself about the other trashbot that had Desta.

Desta gave a snarl and tries to steer hers into the wall. "Remind me to thank her." She spat and gave angry hiss as she felt more gross-whatever it was smear all over here.

It barely scrapped the wall.

Uru roared as he pulled back with his nails, digging his claws deep into the metal as he tried to steer it properly, but it fought him everytime. He brought his other hand down with battering fists over and over. "SUBMIT!"

Desta was still fighting, still trying to ram the thing into the wall. "You're almost free," She called out. She could see it starting to malfunction. If he could get loose then maybe he could help her out.

She heard a large clang as the machine hit the wall again. Good! She was making progress on this thing.

Trashbot health:1/20


"I'll help you. Just hold tight," he called as he jerked the robot around, it startin to comply with his directions. The more he seemed to deal damage to it, the more it in ally agreed to move in the directions he was wanting, which was any that would end with it stopping. The chute? The wall?

Desta wasn't giving up either. If she could handle herself she'd do it. She forced it once more toward the wall, using her tail to steer. She could see his sparking and knew he was nearly free.

Another slam and she felt vidicated. Now she had the hang of this. "These things are going to regret what they've done."

The bot sudden jerked forward, causing him to smash his forehead into the top of the blasted construct. He let out a string of curses under his breath as he clutched his head. Oh they would certainly regret it!

Desta let out a sound of disappointment as again she bounced off the wall. She was becoming frustrated, "You're almost free!" Her voice was near a snap. "Try again."

Uru snarled as he failed to hit the thing again, it's arm pinching around him a bit too hard causing the demon to flinch. He swore under his breath as he growled, hunkering himself down against it as it began to act more erratic as it realized it was going to fall shortly.
