Unfortunately the move came at the cost not seeing some of her family like her mother's side- who was against the move- and her father's side-who was supportive of the chance to better themselves- A factor in her opening up was her mother's kindness as well as her father teaching her her musical talents.
Iris was enjoying some time with friends around Time Square after class ended for a half of day...It was the afternoon and raining but the water didn't dampen the mood at all as Iris made sure that her friends were enjoying themselves. After it was getting closer to graduation for them.. Suddenly a white light flashed in the sky. Everyone just assumed it was lightning. His father also hired a master in Sholin Martial Arts to teach Kiro to defend himself. Kiro also had a giant interest in chess. During high school, he was the captain at sophomore year. He couldn't freshmen year due to he didn't have the skills to be a leader at the time. He made his team with Nationals when he was captain. Every teenage in Kiro's high school played it. But Kiro by far was the most interested in it. One day Kiro was mysteriously kicked out of school with a High School Diploma. He wondered why so he went home to ask his mom. When he was home his dad was waiting for him at the door. They both entered the house and had a seat across from each other with body guards surrounding both of them. Kiro's dad took out a golden ring with a reg gem. The gem looked like a ruby but there was something strange about it. Kiro was confused on what was up. Kiro's dad admitted that he was behind being kicked out of school with a Diploma. His dad then told him that Digimon are real creatures and that they can be brought back to the Human World. He also confessed that he was not a Doctor and is actually the leader of a big Mafia family. He said that when Kiro turns 25, he will be the new Mafia leader. He also has to keep this a secret from his mother since she doesn't know about this. He also told Kiro that he will live in the Digital World for the next nine years. Talents: Painting, Playing the Violin, Piano, and Harp, Ballet, Cooking, Baking, Taking Care of Children, Singing, and Flexibility. Erumina excels at anything artistic and anything that can be associated with wifely duties.
Erumina will probably be the most kindhearted person you will ever meet in your life time. She is patient and caring to everyone she meets, especially young digimon and children. Within her circle of friends, she is often known as the 'mother' due to her understanding and healing presence. She pays attention only to the virtues of the people she interacts with- never the negative qualities. Although years of experience of in the digital world have toughened her, Erumina remains at heart, a rather naive and airheaded individual. Due to her tendency to see only the best in people, she is not very good at noticing danger. In addition, her sense of direction has not improved over the years, and if it wasn't for salamon, it is very likely that she would get lost in the Digital World despite being a residence for six years.
With her sweet and patient nature, one would think she is against war. That is, to some extent, true. Although she dislikes violence, Erumina is not opposed to it. She understands from experience that there are some things that can not be solved simply with words. If pushed, Erumina will fight. However, if given the choice, this digimon tamer prefers to act as a support to her teammates - as a healer. While not particularly gifted in the art of battle, Erumina excels at fixing the physical, mental, and emotional wounds of both digimon and tamers.
Following her departure from the Digital World and subsequent return, Erumina has become more flirtatious and expressive with her emotions.
Equipment: Erumina carries a shoulder bag that contains a bottle of water, granola bars, her digivice, a wallet, a notebook, a hair tie, and a blanket.
Biography: Erumina is the only child of a Mr. Willem Toussaint, a prominent politician in Belgium and his Japanese wife Hayao Natsume. (Although she goes by the name Natalie in her adopted country.) Erumina's life prior to her discovery of the digital world was peaceful and quite fortunate. In addition to playing a part in the Belgian government that advocated for a renewal in interest in traditional Belgian culture, Mr.Toussaint ran a business that restored old buildings in Belgium that were of architectural importance. For such reasons, Erumina grew up living in a family that was well off income-wise, and was exposed to art in its different forms from a young age. She began playing the piano at the tender age of four, and violin three years later. She painted during her free time, and her bookshelf consisted of many well known pieces of literature.
Her parents, ever loving and ever doting, wanted nothing more than to spoil their only child. Along with encouraging Erumina to pursue her artistic endeavors, they were also willing to satisfy any of her materialistic wants, be it the the newest dress or the newest toy. However, Erumina did not grow up to become spoiled, nor did she take advantage of her parents lenient ways. In fact, she grew up to become the opposite. Having always been a curious girl, Erumina learned from a young age, that many families were not as well off as her. She had always had a tender nature, and It broke her heart to know that such misfortunes existed. Thus, whenever her parents spoiled her with beautiful clothes and toys, she would ask for them to be donated to the local shelter instead. During her teenage years, she would often volunteer her time to help out with numerous charities.
Erumina did well in school - although she was not top of the class, hard work and diligent studying allowed her to be above the class average. She had a circle of friends whom she loved dearly, and they loved her in return. Among her group of friends, she was considered the 'mother' due to her caring nature.
Erumina's normal life came to a halt one evening while she was browsing the Internet for some music sheet. The electricity in her house suddenly went out, leaving her in the dark. Her parents were out at a charity ball, leaving her alone at home. With nothing more than her flashlight, Erumina, then eleven years old, ventured down to her basement, hoping to take a look at the circuits and evaluate the situation. However, upon entering the room in the basement in which the circuits were located, Erumina found herself, well, not in the circuit room. Rather, she had entered an entirely different world - the digital world to be exact.
After a short attempt to find her way back home, Erumina eventually gave up and accepted the fact that she would be staying in the digital world for a while. Shortly after, she met her partner digimon, Salamon. Together the two embarked on numerous adventures around the digital world, sometimes with other tamers and sometimes by themselves. They faced death numerous times, and gained a wealth of experience. Five years passed, and Erumina realized that she was growing tired of traveling. Thus, she made one last journey to Toy and Tama Town, a region that she often stopped by during her journeys, and decided to make the place her home. She now spends her days helping Elecmon take care of the digieggs and baby digimon.
Erumina's departure from the Digital World was sudden and unwanted. She had been with her Salamon that day - it was twilight and they were about to retire to their room after a hard day's work taking care of the baby digimon. A portal opened up and quite literally, sucked Erumina into it. There was no goodbye - she was not given the chance to say it.
Surprisingly, not a lot had happened during Erumina's six years away from the real world. Her parents looked considerably older, and at first their relationship was awkward. They knew where Erumina had gone - they knew that she was one of the many youths who had disappeared into the Digital World. Nonetheless, after coming back from the Digital, Erumina suffered a period of depression. She missed Salamon, she missed Elecmon and the baby digimon, and she missed her friends. Having always been a happy person, the tamer had difficulty coping with her negative emotions. For a couple of months, her personality did a one hundred and eighty degrees turn, and she succumbed to drinking, sex, and partying.
It was only after a dream that involved her partner digimon that Erumina realized she could not live such an unhealthy lifestyle. Not only was she hurting her parents, but Salamon would probably be upset if she knew what her human partner was doing. Thus, as quickly as she had fallen into her pseudo-depression, Erumina got out of it. She picked up music and painting once more, and resumed her volunteer work. She finished school and entered university, where she majored in classical studies, and minored in ballet.
Erumina got wind of the re-opening of the Digital World the night before her ballet recital. Without a moment's hesitation, she left to re-enter the Digital World. Despite her accomplishments in the real world, she had never forgotten about Salamon. She had been waiting all this time to return to her beloved digimon.
Talents: High level of intelligence and good at math.
Equipment: Digivice and messenger bag

Talents: Ethan doesn't have many talents, but a few of them come from the way he lived. He is very good at cleaning, cooking, and repairing things. Hes quite a good singer, but nothing special. He isnt good with musical instruments except for a Orcarina. And thats because of a old Video Game he loved to play. He also has a talent for getting lost, so never let him give you directions!
Equipment:Ethan always has a few things on him for certain, he never takes off his mothers Golden Heart Locket, and has a Laptop Bag with him where he stores everything. He carries a extra pair of clothing, cooking supplies, a pair of Goggles for swimming or keeping sand out of his eyes, extra glasses, his wallet, his digivice. And along with all this, he tends to carry a old Cell Phone with him. A Razor to be exact...
Biography: Ethan was born in the U.S.A, on December 10th in 1992. He lived nearby the Hichards family,or at least in the same neighborhood. However,he hadn't always lived in that neighborhood. Originally Ethan lived with his parents in a far off state, but when his mother passed away when Ethan was 7 he was sent to live with his Grandmother so that his Father wouldn't be reminded of his Mother while he got remarried into another family. Growing up was hard for Ethan, he tended to be a bit of a Outcast for quite a while, his accent made it easy to pick on him.Or at least until he hit his growth spurt at 11 and hit 6 foot 2. But that didnt stop them from making fun of him from time to time. Eventually he began to make some good friends, including Lan(Tyler). Who was probably one of his best friends growing up.
Ethan was taking care of his Grandmother and had basically became the House Keeper and the Cook there at the House. When Ethan turned 16 his Grandmother passed away and he ended up staying there alone. He didnt let anyone find out about this, because it really wasn't anything others needed to worry about. And if they had, it was very possible he would have been forced to move away. When Ty had been kicked out of his home Ethan without hesitation decided to let his friend stay with him. The male had no reason not to, the bills were getting paid by his Father now and groceries weren't hard to come by. And since Ethan was working himself when he hit 17 so he wouldnt be alone at home all the time it made life a bit easier when he had someone to cook for. Ethan actually hadn't heard anything about the Digital World, he usually avoided watching the news because it sometimes made him quite depressed. So he was a bit behind the times on that. However, his friend Lan tended to be quite adept at keeping up with the news.
Ethan entered the Digital World for the first time, in quite a odd way. Or at least, it would seem that way to some people. On his way home from work one night he was walking down the sidewalk. Just like he usually would, a pair of headphones in his ears listening to one of his favorite songs,he went to cross the street after looking both ways and... a ongoing car turned the corner at full speed. It was a drunk driver and it was heading right for Ethan. However, right when the car struck the teen he was thrown into the air, gasping out and...suddenly he vanished. He had been pulled into the Digital World right then, he was breathing hard and in pain. But...suddenly a overwhelming feeling hit him. It was warm, but cold at the same time. Surronding him was two elderly looking digimon. Babamon, and Jijimon, it seemed they had been watching and began to heal the teen. Saying," You are the Chosen partner of one of the Digimon here... We must heal you to ensure this." Ethan was confused as the Jijimon healed him, when he was done a portal opened and the teen was sent back with the utmost confusion. A digivice had been given to him and was told," You will return here soon , and you will meet your chosen partner then. Be ready for our call. " Ethan, now confused more than ever. Returned 2 days late back from work. Hopefully Lan didnt think he died, then again...maybe that would be the best reason for his lateness?
Soon while his friend was playing the Piano, a portal opened up from Ethans digivice. Appearing against the wall, Ethan having packed his bags up began to stand. And enter the portal, and that was where Ethan met his Partner. Agumon X, who...well lets just say they got off too a rocky start.
Talents: Hikari can be calm and collected in stressful situations, taking small time to come up with a few plans to solve the problem, but she tends to work alone and rarely accepts help unless the situations really can't be solved by one person. She tends to appear cold towards other people but secretly worries for their well-beings, though her habit of distancing away from others give them bad first impression of her. She's good at singing and cooking, and she's an athlete that specializes in long-distance running, relays and hurdling. She's a trilingual speaking in Japanese, English, and Mandarin.
Biography: Born in Tokyo, Japan, Hikari lived a life of normal teenage girl who had a normal family and friends and helped out her chinese mother in her restaurant. Her father worked as a police officer in Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, her mother owned a chinese restaurant, and her twenty-three-year-old brother was studying in a college for business degree. Originally her hair was black but she dyed it to blue and wore a pair of purple-colored eyes contact lens to hide her plain dark brown eyes; she changed her appearance because her love for anime. Her parents then supported her, liking her new look, and so she kept maintaning it. She also had a few relatives but the one she was closest to was her cousin, Iris, who lived in Okinawa. Her father was the green-haired girl's mother's eldest brother and was the first one to disagree with the family's decision of moving to New York. Ever since Hikari was five, she and her family had always make a trip to visit Iris's family during summer vacation; however after the move, the two families lost all contacts to each other. Hikari eventually moved on forgetting almost all about Iris since she was too young at the time to remember. The only thing she nowaday remembered about the girl was that she had a cousin that once lived in Okinawa.
Hikari had a dream to either become a nursery teacher or walk in the same path of her father, and her brother would be taking over her mother's restaurant. When she first learned about the existence of digimon, her first impression of them wasn't a good one. One day she was walking back from the school to her home in the same old routine, but planned to meet up with her brother somewhere in the way like usual. Unknown to her, the cellphone in her waist bag began to shake violently and its screen was radiating with bright white light and showing many different weird symbols. Hikari never did notice it, and when she found her brother, she saw that he was holding his phone and staring confusedly at it. Had he paid attention to his surrounding he would see a meteor-like white light heading from the sky to his direction. Lucky for him, Hikari saw that and rushed forward to push him away from its path. What happened next....well, she don't remember. Did she manage to save her brother? She wasn't certain, but she could honestly say that when she woke up again and came face to face with wolf-like face of a blue monster, she hated it and the world she came to right away.
Talents: Cooking and playing the guitar and saxophone. He prefers writing in his spare time, and keeps a journal for his experiences in the digital world.
Equipment: His journal, and a small assortment of cookware in his backpack. This includes the basic firestarting equipment like matches and small bits for kindling.
Back story: Honestly, Alexei comes from simple beginnings. He was originally from a small suburb in the bustling--and occasionally dangerous--city of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. He grew up on the beliefs that life didn't have a set structure; that each individual was responsible for their own success and their own upkeep. Perhaps this is why he's rather self-sufficient at times, but a life lived mostly outdoors has given him quite the reputation as a sort of outdoorsman. Nevertheless, he'll rarely turns down an offer to enjoy the finer revelries in life. Ever since he was young, he was taught how to cook, and that skill alone saved him in many otherwise fatal situations. However, his favorite is a very simple recipe. The brasilian treat, brigadeiro. No matter where he goes or who he's with, he's known to always keep these ingredients on him. Nothing reminds him more of home than the days he used to sit at the family table, enjoying lighthearted, humorous conversation with the smooth, refreshing taste of his mother's brigadeiro.
Others who have been around Alexei for an extended period of time would say that he's...nonchalant. His mood is generally relaxed and carefree, and few and far between are the situations where he would need to get serious. Of course, this was back when he lived in the real world. Now that he's entered the Digital World, things have gotten a little...strange. Because he's so far out of his environment at home, his thoughts have become disorganized. What used to be a casual guy slowly turned into a hustling, bustling journalist who makes more absentminded mistakes than he'd care to admit. As time slowly passed in the Digital World, he'd remedied this problem, gathering quite a few digimon and tamer friends along the way. On occasion, they battled dark tamers, but none were quite as ferocious as the last one.
They'd taken on a mission--as he was previously a member of the Black Sword club--to track down and defeat a particular dark tamer by the name of Kaiden. He'd made quite a name for himself, deleting hundreds of digimon and even their tamers on occasion. The group was a total of six tamers, each armed with a veritable arsenal of their comrades. As soon as they reached their destination, the air was so thick with evil they could feel its venomous burn on their skin; they even experienced the faintest taste of blood on their tongues. It was at this point that they were attacked from all sides. Brutally, they were put under assault from denizens of dark digimon. Whoever this man was, he had enlisted more than the help of his partners alone.
Even with all their power, six of the strongest tamers in the digital world could do little more than writhe and squirm in the face of Kaiden's influence and power. By the time they reached the man himself, they were weathered and battle-weary. Their fight was short-lived and pitiful. Even in the face of the army they'd just vanquished, this man--Kaiden...he was on a different level. His digimon moved with no wasted movement. Nothing was poorly planned or executed; their unison was flawless. In a haze of fire and smoke, Alexei could do little more than watch as his friends--the tamers that had stood by him the whole way--were deleted without a chance at victory. The club had made a erroneous decision...no, a suicidal decision. Sending in any less than an army to battle Kaiden's forces would lead to inevitable failure, one that they had experienced firsthand. As the man's sights turned onto Alexei, he could do little more than fall to his knees and raise his hands above his head, almost as though praying to a god that would not help him.
The cannon fired, and everything went white. But...he was still alive? When he opened his eyes, what he found was his room. In the real world. At that exact moment in time, the Digital World had reset, and everything he'd built over those months--maybe years--of traveling had just become nothing. Dust in the wind. When he logged back in years later...it was all changed. All wrong.
Name/Gender/Age: Marco Sombra de Milagros/ Male/ 20
Rank: Bronze [EXP=135]
Talents: Marco is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. He has several small talents like drawing, completing puzzles, as well as playing the harmonica and the guitar. He has several hobbies, but he's not particularly amazing in any one field. For example, he knows some karate and Jiu Jitsu because he took classes as a child, but he didn't continue his lessons when he entered high school. His body is naturally strong including broad shoulders and great strength (he got it from his dad). Marco has book smarts which sometimes makes him gullible when he's out in the real world, but he's a fast learner. His strongest traits are his compassion and his loyalty to his family and friends. When he's motivated, he makes miracles happen.
Equipment: Digivice, a messenger bag, Wolf's Fang (a gift from grandma), silver wristwatch (gift from grandma), wallet, collapsible telescope (gift from grandfather), sleeping bag, first aid-kit, canned foods, a canteen with water, flashlight, compass.
Back-Story: Marco was a foreigner that entered the states at a young age. He adapted to his new life, but he kept many of his old customs and embraced his culture. Marco entered school without knowing any English which caused him to often be bullied and get into many fights. He was forced to toughen himself up through these countless fights which lasted into high school. He took self-defending classes where he learned karate and Jiu Jitsu. He transferred to a new school where he wanted to make a change. He joined many clubs and created many hobbies through these clubs. Marco discovered that he was quite athletic so sports were often fun, but whenever he was asked to participate for school sports he could not keep up with the other players. He was a jack of all trades, but a master in none. His best subject was math and he enjoyed the field of physics so it was no surprise that once he graduated from high school he entered college to be come a physics major.
Marco didn't make any meaningful relationship during his high school life. Even though he was a part of many clubs he never tried to approach the other members and they didn't try to approach him. He looked intimidating and his cold eyes would usually drive people away. His family was Marco's support system so he places great importance in family. Marco believes in loyalty and he promised himself that if he found some good friends then he would treasure them. Marco did not want to leave his family, but he knew that in order to study physics and enter medical school then he would need to move to a different area. With many farewells and hugs going all around, Marco was off to college! He arrived with a positive attitude knowing that many new experiences would be coming his way.
One day Marco was was looking through his PC when a flash of light knocked him out. The events that happened afterwords are all a blur. Marco doesn't remember anything about his former life and adventure in another world. He woke up in a hospital where he was told that he entered a coma. He spend the next year recovering without having any recollection about how he ended up in the hospital. His studies were placed on hold and he returned home for his recovery. Marco is still trying to piece his memories together, but nothing seems to make sense. Once he was fully recovered, he decided to return to his studies knowing that he was an entire year behind he needed to catch up. On his first day, he received a call with a list of instructions. Marco did not know what to make of this call except to ignore and move on. The days were followed with vivid dreams that were borderline nightmares. The calls did not stop until Marco decided to finally follow the instructions. He was led to a company-like building where he was escorted inside. Marco was told about the Digital World and Digital Regulation Federation. Apparently, he was a former player of this "Digital World" and he was summoned to continue to "beta-test" this game. Marco had no recollections, but in his dreams this all seemed familiar.
With no other choice except to accept these bizarre terms, Marco agreed to be a part of the DRF. He was told to pack reasonable survival equipment. Marco left the building and returned the next day to start on this new adventure. He didn't what was happening, but somehow he felt drawn to this "Digital World" and felt like someone was waiting for him on the other side. With his gear in hand, Marco entered the Digital World.

Back story: Liam grew up not the richest kid on the block but he never wanted for anything, being his parents only child the focused all their resources on making sure he was well off. Liam loved his parents and always vowed that one day he would take care of them. His father Collin was a brilliant man, an inventor and software designer for his own small company, but times were hard in those years and he could only get contracts here and there, he worked night shifts at the local coffee house to make some more money. Liam's mother was a wonderful, kind woman who would have made a great mother for more children but due to an accident a few years after Liam was born she lost the use of the bottom half of her body including the ability to reproduce. She didn't let that stop her from being her cheery self. Liam never once saw her cry but he knew that all her hopes and dreams were now on his shoulders, so he drove himself into his musical studies. She also never shared the details of the accident with him and his parents vowed to keep it a secret, Liam would never know of the Digital World.
As Liam grew older he lost interest in music and it became apparent that he had a great talent for building and programing than even his father did. The great Video game console war began around this time and after playing a few systems Liam convinced his father that they could make one even better. The business was struggling and if something didn't change soon they would lose it and his father would be out of work. So at 13 Liam and his father put all their time and resources into building a game system that would change the game. After months of R&D and living off of next to nothing they finished it, the first ever X-System, a revolutionary system that took the market by storm. Every developer wanted to make games on this system and suddenly life was good. His family had everything that they wanted and his Dad's company grew into a mega cooperation making Billions of dollars a year. Suddenly Liam was popular in school, everyone wanted to be his friend. It was attention Liam didn't want, he confined him self to his house and had his parents higher personal tutors where he was home schooled and able to learn the way he wanted. Liam preferred to be alone with his thoughts than with people.
Liam wasn't unhappy he just had lots of things to think about, lots of ideas. His Dad's company was huge now so his parents would never have to worry about money again and Liam continued to develop software and Hardware for the company in his free time. Officially his father couldn't hire him till he was 18 so they worked like this for years. During thins time Liam decided he wanted to bring his parents even more happiness, they had everything they ever wanted except his mother's ability to walk. He, in secret, set out to fix that. His medical knowledge was not great but his plan didn't really require one. He would build her a bionic exoskeleton so she could walk and run and do everything she ever wanted to. It was during these his high school years that Liam took up rock climbing to clear his head. Being in nature and climbing those mountains free style inspired him and helped him believe that anything is possible.
Around the time he turned 17 Liam was successful in creating a working exoskeleton and reveled his achievement to his parents. As his mother tried it for the first time the tears began to stream down the whole families faces, Liam had accomplished what no one thought they would ever see happen again. His mother was walking. His parents were so happy and Liam was so excited about his success that he began working on a less noticeable version, something she could wear in public without anyone noticing.
Liam was hired by his father on his 18th birthday and made a partner in the company. He continued to make new tech for the company and they released the X-System Pro, a new generation even more advanced than anything before. His project for his mother was also a success and on his 21st birthday he gave it to her. She was now able to go into public without being ashamed of a bulky piece of metal. His parents decided to get back the years she had lost and decided to adopt a baby by the name of Lauren, this was Liam's new baby sister who he instantly feel in love with, he was happier than he had ever been in his life.
The company which had now become known as Xsoft soon wanted to change the market again and lead by the prodigy Liam they began work on 3D projection games and even did some research on the possibility of alternate Dimension gaming, were the players conscious would be sent to another world to play the game. They decided AD gaming was a waste of time and money but Liam published a journal on his findings anyways.
About a year later when Lian was 23 a new company known only as DRF contacted him about his research on AD gaming saying that he had stumbled on the possibility to do so much more. They explained their goals and contracted Liam and Xsoft to develop an AD portal for them, this portal would send not only your conscious but your whole body into whatever other dimension was linked to the other side. Xsoft agreed to the contract and within a year had developed a working version of the portal. The DRF paid a hefty sum and a new partnership was born, they had created the greatest scientific ever. They now had the ability to travel to a place the DRF called the Digital World. Liam had never heard of such a world but for all his help he received an invitation to travel there once it was open to the public. Liam didn't know what to expect but he could use a break from work for a while and this could be an amazing opportunity, his only requirement was that no one knew who he was, the last thing he needed was a repeat of X-system. He was ready to relax, travel to this new world and climb any mountain he could.
Talents: Astra has this habit of being very organized with her belongings, she never fails to make sure that everything around her is kept neat and tidy. She loves to cook or bake whenever she has the time and equipment. She's bilingual, she can speak English and French fluently thanks to her mother's teachings but she often prefers speaking in English more with a few Scottish slangs here and there. She has unusually acute senses such as better sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell than the average person does. She also have this tendency to notice or remember small details, details that most people would deem unimportant.
Equipment: Astra keeps around a messenger bag wherever she goes. Inside it includes her digivice, her mini laptop, a small wallet with a few amount of money in it, a flashlight, a compact first aid kit, a bottle of water, her hairbrush, some trail mix and a couple of chocolate bars, specifically dark chocolate.
Biography: Astra was born in Northampton, England but later moved to Glasgow at an early age. Her parents are both mainly Scottish but her mother had also French ancestry within her too. Astra had two siblings, an older brother named Clyde and a younger sister named Luanne or Anne for short.
Back when she was a small child, she loved to spend time with her siblings. When she was in sixth grade, though, her parents divorced. Her father moved out of the house and took both Clyde and Luanne with him, leaving her alone with her mother. She first thought that they just went away for a trip of some sort, and that someday they'll return. She often pestered her mother with questions like where did they go and when they'll return but her mother always waved her question off. "Now, now, that's all in the past. Let's focus on the future." Is what her mother's usual response. "Just remember that I'll always love you, sweetheart." At first, she didn't understand what she meant, but after a while, she understood. They're gone, and she will never see them again. Up to this point in time, she never did saw their faces again.
Astra wasn't always that great at socializing, not exactly that good at making friends either. Often times, she'll say the wrong statements and embarrass herself. She missed her brother and sister dearly, they were one of the few people who she could talk to without having to worry of making a mistake. Oh, she had a few friends at school, they were wonderful, really, they were, but they don't show as much compassion as her siblings did. It took her a year or two to face the cold, hard truth behind her father's departure.
After those turn of events, Astra's life had been simple and ordinary. It didn't affect much of her performance at school, they moved to a smaller house with a smaller rent, and her mother had found a job as an insurance clerk in the local hospital. She made enough money annually to pay their bills. Astra often does most of the housework, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, going out to get the groceries, so and so on. She and her mother took turns with preparing the meals. Though, there are times where her mother was drained from work in which case she'll do all the cooking that day instead. She doesn't mind doing all that work, in fact, she's grown to be fond of it. It started to become a habit of hers, cleaning things up and organizing them. She even started to love cooking too and tried baking every now and then.
Let's move on to the juicy parts, this is how Astra discovered the Digital World. One day, Astra was out making her way to the supermarket to fetch some groceries for her mother. You'd think it was just another normal day in her life, getting groceries, right? But something made her halt. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something. There, in the alleyway, was a bright shining light. The light seemed to glow even brighter the longer she kept her gaze at it. She felt a gust of wind blow against her back, it was as if the wind was trying to push her in. Okay, this is definitely wrong. Alleyways don't usually shine with majestic light. Her first extinct was to run but her feet was glued to the ground. Then she blacked out.
