History:

The youngest child to an otherwise unseemly family, Ryan lived most of his life surrounded by technology. He was never a sociable kid, and was oftentimes found tinkering with some sort of electronic device. This led to a fascination with code and glitches. By the age of 10, Ryan had already found his way into the digital world, so to speak. While he could not directly access the digital world, he could glimpse into it from time to time, believing it to just be someone's program artificial life program. The young boy would observe until the connection was lost, and he would not be able to recover it for some time.

Unable to re-create his past achievement, Ryan had found a new love in glitching video games. Some glitches he would easily be able to recreate, but others seemed to happen out of nowhere, almost as if something was trying to grab his attention.

Ryan's suspicions about the glitches wouldn't be founded on anything until a strange device appeared in his backpack one day after school. This device, for whatever reason, rang familiar in Ryan's memory, even though he was sure he had not seen it before. It wouldn't be until he got home that he realized and remembered, the 'artificial life program' from all those years ago. This had some of the same characters. Sitting down in front of his computer, Ryan took a deep breath and pulled the device out, activating it. A moment later, nobody was in front of Ryan's computer, as the boy's journey had just begun.
