I got Gcash.
But before you yell at me, it was for a sick friend.
It made her happy just coming out of a difficult surgery.
I gave her Heart + Mind and Causal Autumn which made her smile

Aww, well, I hope she enjoys it.
I don't think the cash or cash items are the problem. It's how Gaia pushes it. They're the ones with the issues, not the people who buy it. Being rewarded for supporting a site isn't a bad thing.

Sorta like Roswell Park's pediatrics ward giving patients gift cards for finishing chemo and upcoming birthdays (also got iTunes gift cards when I was trying to buy songs and I commented that I was out of money while a nurse was around. Oh, look. Two $25 iTunes gift cards emotion_kirakira )

Also, the guild has not taken a unified stand on GC or anything else, though most seem unified against Flynn's body parts flying around. We've discussed it in threads at length. The recent thread "Are you mad yet?" is collecting views of members, and we've had a lot of replies.
