What was your "n00b" avatar on Gaia?

Hey! I've been really nostalgic these past few days and it got me thinking about when I first joined Gaia.
I joined in 2007 because two of my friends recommended it. I'm so glad I tried it out! Anyway, this was my n00b outfit.
My friend gifted me the Water Meat and I fell in love. XD

Look at those rags! Man, I thought I was the cat's pajamas.
After a while, I got some money and invested in this beauty:


I was really feelin' good about myself. Then I went on a quest for the pixie. Ooooh yeah.
I scrimped and saved and finally got it for 30k. I was rich!
I also started playing the MP a bit and saved up a little extra to make this:

And I stayed with that avatar for a loooong time. Ah, the good ol' days...

what was the best gaia year to you? I think mine was november 2006. I had fun with the halloween in towns with my first gaia friend. He's no longer around anymore.

Oh, that's a hard one...
I really liked 2007. I joined right in time for the Summer Festival. I had a blast with those water balloons! My sister joined with me and we just pelted each other and everyone else we saw. <3 Good times. I also liked the 2k7 Halloween event. Humans vs Vampires. Man... that was one of my favorite events of all time. I was a human. Then the Christmas event! Those orphans!! I wanted to keep them all--I'm so glad they released them as an item.
2007 is definitely the best, to me.

I like Humans vs Vampires but i prefer zurg event better. those probe things lol xD

Lol, I don't even remember anymore. I do remember looking at the gold shops and thinking the G-LOL dress was soooo expensive. The fairy wings too. I remember getting the seal slippers and being so excited. I think I spent a lot of time running around with a katana trying to dress like a ninja before they had any real ninja items, lol.

Haha I know, right? Everything seemed way expensive. Those iconic emo glasses... what are they, 4,000? I quested a long time for those.
I really wanted the fairy wings, too.

I think the most expensive to me was the peyo's duck hat. I thought they're the cool ones xD and the fairy wings.

This was the earliest avatar I saved and the look I most often wore in my first year. I saved up for my Tama's Basket. This took me 2 months to achieve.



I kept the hair and eyes for a very long time.
