Fought stage one intermediate Hodgkin's lymphoma over the summer
Doctor told me today that I'm in remission
Would be more squee, but I was also up before the sun and that's not natural for me, so I'm butt-tired |D

I just got diagnosed with breast cancer and am glad for my friends on Gaia. One had breast cancer and beat it, and one has another form of cancer that is back again. I used to be the one who drove and pried others out, so since I don't have a car now, am limited in contacts irl, and my Gaia friends are even more important. Sending good vibes your way.

Congratulations! heart My family is prone to skin cancer, which I'd like to say isn't that bad but... my uncle had his spread to his brain and now has melanoma of the brain. Surgery failed and it has spread to his internal organs as well and it seems it'll be a miracle if he lives till Christmas. It's really sad. Cancer is so awful. It feels like more and more people I know get it with each passing year. I hope it stays in remission forever for you! I understand how you feel about your Gaia friends. I actually live really far from my family and they used to play on this site with me till they got upset with the stuff going on and stopped coming on. I will be cheering you on for a full recovery.
