Enrollment message The gnomes on duty in the Enrollment office were extremely disgruntled that their letters to Pigfarts had not arrived with the new student, and decided that they were just going to go to Surmdtrang instead.

  Hethel the Owl SpiritNicknames:Those that have frequented the woods approaching the monster dorms may know her as "The Old Thorn's Owl" or "Hethel on the Old Thorn".Gender: FAge: One could guess she's been around for a long time as a spirit, but she looks 'bout 14 at most.*No sense of smell. The undead are ok. A lot of them are very old. She can respect that. *Is this your skellyphone? Someone dropped it by the talking Hawthorn in the forest not too far from here. Not yours? Huh. Okay. I'll keep it a little longer then. *What's under all these feathers? Not you. Never you. Give up. It's not happening. Personality:Steady flight: She's not the type to be pulling stunts, and is rather consistently mellow. She doesn't like things getting loud and messy, so Hethel remains relatively composed in the face of surprise or danger and addresses the issue as best she can.
Down with the... down Though some may discredit her for it, all should be able to admit that Hethel's enormous fluff more than compensates for her unexciting personality. Hethel (in this context, mistakenly xD) believes that a mass of feathers granting an increase in body size makes one more intimidating. As for her sense of cute, it leans toward pink-fleshed, noisy unfledged nestlings, crawling around feebly. ಠ^ಠ
Owls stay below the canopy: If her body language is any indication, she's a bit of a recluse; far from outgoing. In fact, the only thing she seems to actively seek at school is to learn the class material and find the owner of her lost skellyphone. She has no future aspirations, except maybe...
Gives a hoot: Going on adventures and activities isn't something she'd do for fun, but it doesn't take much convincing for her to tag along to keep an eye on current happenings or as a support to others. She may be unemotional, but not unconcerned. Besides, she thinks of herself as a sort of protective forest spirit and finds it fulfilling to act the guardian. Oh, but romance- THAT she doesn't give a hoot about. xDBarrier Hawthorn Overgrowth: Can summon up thick sprawls of hawthorn from the ground. [this protects from incoming damage]
