No, I don't think it increases the amount of friends you have or anything of the sort. I put on two types of coverup (A liquid then a powder). Most of my attention when putting on makeup goes to my eyes. Thick eyeliner with fish tail sides, mascara, smokey eyeshadow, and I've bought some real cute false eyelashes but haven't had the chance to use them. I won't lie, if you have some really dramatic eye make up on, it's noticed. At least by other women. I guess they appreciate the time and effort it takes more than guys (not much of a shock there really.) I've always gotten a lot of compliments on my eye makeup.
But no. It does not get you more friends. An outgoing, go-lucky, friendly personality is the only thing that can do that. And sometimes even with that it can be difficult in a world that focuses mainly on appearance. But that doesn't necessarily mean that it controls everything.
My point is, if you have a good attitude, you don't isolate yourself, and you're generally an open, friendly person you should be fine. Just be yourself and everything else should fall into place.

Thanks! smile oh god, I don't know anything about smokey eyes lol >.< I used to have a girl friend, she didn't wear makeup but now she does and she completely changed (her personality)... She only hang outs with other girls who has makeup on(I guess it was to get attention) -.- it's hard to believe she was once "my friend".

x-iiLove_Chocolate Kitalpha Hart I never wore makeup casually I had to for my dance recitals, prom and costumes, but that's not everyday, or casual But I'm the person who doesn't need it (maybe cover acne, but that's it), I'm the person who has random strangers who tell me that if I'm not a model, I should be Though it hasn't happened pain a long time, thankfully You're so lucky >.< I have big dark under eye circles ! I think it's awesome when you just put makeup only on special occasion because you kinda "surprise" others xD i know And since I have even skin and small features, I'm basically a perfect model :/
