Prom had come and gone, and despite it's rough patches, Shikoba had more then made up for the previous year in which he had abandoned her partway through the night. It really just went to show how different things were now then they had been just a year prior, how they'd both grown and changed and somehow despite constant bickering and differences and conflicts had grown closer together. She had never imagined her life would end up on this course, living with the man who had been her constant rival and a never ending thorn in her side, depending on him in ways she refused to think about too much.
But that night of fun and carefree activities was gone, and with it a new day came. It was time to go back to work, fighting the insanity that was overwhelming their lands. She felt almost guilty for indulging in a night of laid back activity, even if they had fought a giant santa partway through the evening, and was more then ready to make up for it now that her sudden compulsion towards attending a student run event had been satisfied.
And so she found herself striding towards the portals, wings folded in tight behind her, with nothing but the mission on her mind. Nothing at all until a vaguely familiar horseman came into view of course.
Shaheen slowed down her steps, eyes narrowing in thought, before she reached out a hand to rest on Shik's arm. It was
him, that man from the night at prom that dared to challenge her intelligence after slapping her rear end by accident...or so he said. Wait, hadn't Shik all but promised her that she could put the faminer in his place after prom was finished?
Well...prom was certainly over with now! But there was also work to be done, and likely no time to be spent dealing with a waste of time such as he.
....Or was there?
She glanced up at Shik with a questioning look, before murmuring.
"Did I mention he slapped my a** at prom before you arrived?" Might as well see what kind of reaction that got first.
