Everyone, any Desert Island Discs?

I'll explain what it's about just in case you don't already know, but not before you've been duly admonished.

Shame on you for not knowing! If indeed you don't know.

Now. Desert Island discs is apparently the longest-running music programme on radio. It's on Radio 4, as you'd expect, and it asks various people who are (to greater of lesser degrees) in the public eye to choose various songs that they would have where they marooned upon a desert island.

Ten tracks (they say eight, but I'll let you have ten if you need them) in no particular order, usually of some personal significance, but not necessarily. One of those being the one you'd take if you could only choose a singular track.

Also, a book and a 'luxury item'.


I don't really expect this thread to explode with results, because it takes so much thought to formulate a list, but it's certainly interesting to think about.
