Quote: Rolling a 6: ALL STUDENT/ HUNTER HP IS HALVED. You feel tired.... cold...numb. It becomes increasingly hard to focus as the battle draws on. Bix was on his standard Haunted House patrol. The current room was pretty boring, large and vast it was painted like a night sky. Different constellations were marked out with bright golden stars and the rest were flecks of white on shades of blue and deep purple. A large replica of the solar system spun slowly from a mechanism in the cieling but the entirety of it was in disrepair. The star paint was peeling, the solar system moved with a slow creak, and some of the smaller bits barely dangled by a thread. The floor was covered in a dense pink fog, reminiscent of thick fluffy pink clouds. It was a bit more pleasant than the usual rooms, but a cold settled into it and Bix felt suddenly exhausted. s**t. He hated this place.

His eyes narrowed, tail twitching like an agitated cat, his senses on highest alert. Sheridan scanned every corner and in every direction before every cautious step. He did not like it here, he did not like how the very air made his hair stand on end, did not like the chill of every eerie sound and creak, did not like the feeling that someone or some thing was always watching, as if the building itself were alive. Jack it all, this was not where he had wanted to be when he had stepped through that door. He had wanted to step into the boil's locker room, not the forsaken place! The dragon would have roared in frustration had something not caught his attention, something that told him silence would be far wiser. Every muscle tightened in his body, coiled as if he would spring at any moment. There was someone else here, he was sure he'd heard the sound of steps, steps he could only assume were unfriendly. He reached a corner, scanning the corridor before he dared step forward, peering through the open doorway. In an instant his posture instantly changed, his tail lashing with an angry snap. A hunter! There was a low and menacing growl, fangs showing in a snarl. He recognized this hunter, it was the one with the bow. It was a struggle within himself that kept him from lunging forward immediately, to attack in a furious attempt to tear the hunter limb from limb. But he had learned better than that, to attack as such would be foolish and only open himself to greater attack. No, he would have to be cautious with this one, he would have to think strategically.

Bix heard the noise of an animal's feet only to almost miss the dragon in the starry surroundings. Fortunately the student was much more vibrant than the aged room, and made a good amount of angry noise. "Ohh.. hey friend." The albino knew this one. They had a bit of a rivalry but the hunter couldn't even remember why. If he'd hurt someone the dragon liked, he certainly didn't remember. Was that heartless? "How you been?" His bow was already in hand, his body a live wire that would spring into action as soon as needed, but for now he'd chat. Bix was good at chatter.

It was possible Sheridan did not know the reasons behind their 'rivalry' either. But it the end, did it even matter? One was hunter, one was halloween, enemies by nature. Perhaps that and a memory of each other was all that was needed for an instant hatred. Of course the fact that Sheridan may or may not have remembered Bix shooting him in THE TAIL did not inspire any desire to forget that hatred. "Wouldn't you like to know." Sheridan snorted, his mouth curling in a snarl. He had not forgotten that bow, or the sting of its arrows. Want to chat? Fine, we can chat, chat before I bite your face off!

"Yes.. I would." Bix smiled, almost sickly sweet, "That's why I asked." The albino hunter kept a safe distance, not wanting to chance Sheridan's tail or breath. He'd keep his distance for now. "Why the sour face?" It was hard to tell if the hunter was genuine or mocking. The smirk on his face hadn't changed in the slightest since he'd seen Sheridan.

Sheridan's eyes narrowed, his arms crossed deliberately across his chest, tail twitching like a lion stalking its prey. His patience for small talk was waning, perhaps he had never had the patience for such with a hunter in the first place. "I will not assume you are foolish enough to need an answer to that question." One might be able to see the thoughts behind his eyes, his mind working, strategizing, working out several sequences in his head, searching for the best angle of attack. There were no thoughts of escape, there was no fear, only hatred and cold calculation.

"You chouldn't make that face... you know what ma says, it'll get stuck that way.." His banter was lacking today. The room was making him feel sluggish and tired. "Blah blah I think it already is." He waved a hand dismissively. And then suddenly it was like someone flipped a switch. The hunter burst into action, strafing sideways to fire a powerful volley into Sheridan's side. He was aiming for the twitching tail but only managed to hit down the dragon's side, hip and haunch. Either way he was pleased with the shot and continued to run in an attempt to avoid backlash from the other. HP: 30/30 Dmg: 17 Charge: 1/3

Sheridan had been watching, his muscles on edge, he knew it was coming! But he had not been fast enough to avoid the strike, his movements slower than he should have been. Damn it! Why was he so sluggish! He should have been able to avoid that! The dragon snarled, a cry that would become an ear-piercing roar, his tail lashing in anger perhaps as much at himself as at the hunter. It had been a hard hit, harder than he'd expected, harder than it should have been. It was too soon for him to already feel so tired, too soon to take so hard of a hit. He was quickly remembering why he hate this place. It was unpredictable, exhausting, and worse the spaces were confining. A fact he was quickly reminded of his he leapt toward the ceiling, wings spread to put at least some distance between himself and the hunter. He could only hope the mid-range would work against the hunter as well. HP: 8/25 Damage: 1 iloveyouDIE Really dice, REALLY?! ******** you too.

Bix fired again but the dragon was on the move and his arrows flew into empty air. "Don't run.. heeeere kitty kitty." The albino hunter smiled, glad to see his hit had been hard. "Get it.. kitty? Cause you have whiskers? No?" HP: 30/30 Dmg: -- Charge: 1/3

"Then I guess that makes you the mouse!" And mouses were to be pounced! Pounce was exactly what Sheridan did, tail lashing dangerously, wings folding back as he dove toward the hunter, his mouth opened to fire a blast of frozen plasma. HP: 8/25 Damage: --

Bix rolled away from the plasma blast as the frosty projectile caught only the flapping ends of his coat. "Or maybe I'm the dog? Ruff ruff?" He wasn't fool enough to stand still, not with the dragon on a rampage. He continued to run around and now was trying to get behind Sheridan. He fired a few arrows in the other's direction but his aim was questionable with all the running he was doing.

Sheridan hissed as arrows shot past his ear, one may have even cut a tuft of hair. Growling, fangs bared, the dragon whipped around, tail snapping as he turned. No, he would not let the hunter attack his flank, not again! He was determined to not lose sight of his adversary, not even for an instant. "Even dogs can be crushed." A roar, the dragon dove straight for the hunter. His intention was to quickly take his natural form and land with his full weight on top of the hunter, hopefully pinning Bix under his claws, placing him in prime position for FACE BITING! Bix couldn't do much to avoid the dragon as he shifted mid-air. His attempt to roll to the side only got him slightly out of the way of Sheridan's snapping jaws. "Dogs.. bite back!" Bix grabbed Sheridan's whiskers and YANKED. HP: 30/30 Dmg: -- Charge: 1/3 Amon Larethian If you wanna roll attacks, I'm fine with it!

"You should always beware that what you bite might bite harder!!" Sheridan snarled viciously, fangs bared his head jerked as his neck whipped backward, using that momentum to yank Bix off his feet and turn the hunter's attack against him. As the hunter tumbled through the air, the dragons jaws would snap in a powerful bite, hopefully catching and disabling a limb (or better yet, to tear said limb off). hp: 8/25 damage: 8 iloveyouDIE OMG I fail so hard, SO SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG
