The title of the corresponding song is in bold.
I know it gets monotonous after the first few. I really have to find some new rhymes. C;
Proof that the TSFH fandom is one of the best. [along with Vocaloid and Touhou.]

Lol.
Listen, my child, to fable of old,
Through fire and flame and winter cold,
When tyrants bent knee and kingdoms fell,
Among the ashes of the Winterspell.
In a time before light, in the darkest depths of hell,
Mighty warriors shall conquer as our prophecies foretell,
From flaming desert to cold winter's ends,
We shall forever remember the infinite legends.
In kingdoms old of fathoms deep,
Dwell the creatures of endless sleep,
In waters treacherous and swells onshore,
Hear the ocean's song and riptide's roar.
Through open sea and blue waves yonder,
The surf beyond still brims with wonder,
Through eyes swelling with emotions unbidden,
We'll find the Ocean Kingdom ever hidden.
In the time when the legends have lost their worth,
Rumors of giants still haunt the earth,
As with shattered crowns and bloody fountains,
It's mortal men who are moving mountains.
Some see a city among the clouds,
Of deathless dreams and united crowds,
Voices on the wind and banners unfurled,
To praise the glory of our Skyworld.
If the tyranny proves too much for you all,
Rest in the knowledge that evil will fall,
Hear the hammer, the anvil, the new-forged sword ring,
Seize the traitors and unseat this false king!
With quiet footfalls of a distant march,
An army advances on the towering arch,
On blade and bone and dungeons dark,
The hand of the holy does make its mark.
Through the sunset they travel still,
Pure of moral and strong of will,
Steady of heart and stalwart of principal,
All who've encountered have deemed them invincible.
Through cries of the damned and heaven's song,
Humans toil through the night of a thousand years long,
Between steadfast courage and boundless sin,
Angels and demons wage wars for the win.
As the tyrant's bloody legions stand,
Faceless and mindless, bound by command,
Though our army's forces remain scattered and few,
Our boundless strength stems from the cross at the pew.
Through raging battle and scorching fire,
Bodies among ashes, the knight and the squire,
Under hellfire raining and bloody skies,
Watch our enemies fall at the Archangel's rise.
The battle is over and the war is done,
But the race for our lives has barely begun,
As the voices lament in a chilling duet,
Of the pride and the pain that we'll never forget.
Searching high and hunting low,
Through battlefields we roam and deserts go,
Our eyes wide shut and ancient blades sheathed,
Dreams linger in the air we breathe.
No bright moon to guide, no silver light of stars,
No piercing sunlight to lead from afar,
Through the words of the elders, in the ancient tome's pages,
We ride towards the light; so ends the dark ages.
Uncertainty holds sway, but our armies still fight,
Through the rise of the light, and the wane of the night,
Men have been lost, but but our battles will be won,
'Till the day we find a hole in the sun.
A lone figure appears at the set of the sun,
Around him lie corpses; he is but the one,
To escape the terror of the battlefields that burn,
And the people rejoice at a hero's return.
When dusk breaks dark and full of grief,
Red of blood and gold of leaf,
Of whitewashed truths and tender lies,
Our hero watches the Kingdom Skies.
Our journey begins at the dawn of the morrow,
To quench our longing and drown our sorrow,
Crystal skies and roads of alabaster,
To pave our way home to the Northern Pastures.
For the amber of sunlight and our memories of gold,
For songs unsung and stories untold,
In red of daylight and flowers' bloom,
Past dragon's grave and hero's tomb.
In glades of green and woods unseen,
The mind is scribe to the lands we've been,
When reality's gossamer frays at the seams,
I'll remember the legends, forever in my dreams.
