I was just curious as to whether there were any West Midlanders about. I haven't seen many here on Gaia (probably because I haven't looked) or, in fact, on the internet full-stop.
So, if you're from the west midlands - whereabouts? I myself am from Wolverhampton - international shithole and easily contested to be one of the most unfashionable cities in Europe...
Still, you gotta love it.

Yep, I'm from the West Midlands, Dudley in fact...a mere 6 miles from Wolverhampton, to which I usually go shopping in almost every week, mainly to buy Manga from Forbidden Planet.

Iggy The Balrog Oh yeah - I it [the Birmingham Forbidden Planet] had been closed now but I'm not sure. Too many comic books and models, which is all good and well if you are majorly nerdy over that stuff but I just wasn't interested in it at all. I lived in Birmingham until last September, and it was still open then. But I preferred Nostalgia & Comics - it's on Queensway, you just follow the road round to the right after coming out of the main entrance of New Street station. Student discount too smile

Hmm well it is hard to say, here in Cheltenham we get "midlands today" on the TV so we must be in the midlands but if you got to Gloucester which is about 30 mins away to get "points west" so i guess I am in west midlands ish biggrin

I'm a West Midlander. Though why I'm posting, I don't know. This thread has been dead since March. Maybe I'm just lonely... emo
