Hey Ladies and Gents, apologies for my absense over recent months
Absense Disclaimer: Now that im in my 2nd year of uni and got a few deadlines out of the way, im going to be working on my Traitor Guardsmen again. sold most of the old ones to a friend as they werent much special (lack of funds at the time so conversions werent particularly good) but since I now have a job again, I have the funds to get back into the hobby (yay!)
My traitors are Khorne worshippers, along with some Iron Warriors chaos marines (which if I'm correct, I can now field alongside my traitors using the 6th ed allies rules?) which will probs be 2 squads of marines and a sorceror lord. My eventual aim is to chaosify every unit in the Imperial Guard codex (excluding special characters) for this army, so this is going to be a very expensive (and fun!) adventure xp
Updates: 04/11/12: Added pics of the Iron Warriors, Praetorian Servitor and Based minis 30/10/12: Painted a few Iron Warriors plus a converted Melta Servitor-Ogryn 27/10/12: Did a tester base for the snow on an Inquisitorial bodyguard. 24/10/12: Blog Started, plus added Cultists, Psyker, Priests, thunderbolt fighter, guardsmen, captain, and Sentinel (also Crystals and snow for basing arrived!)

!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1450.jpg) The Captain: The first member of my command squad, joined by a Bannerman, Heavy Flamer, Plasma Gunner and perhaps a MeltaGunner or a medic when i decide on the final member. he is made from one of the squad leaders from the Dark Vengeance cultists, but with a Marauder head (+ Greenstuff to fill it in) and plasma pistol added
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1436.jpg) Psyker: aaaand heres the other cultist leader, now a rogue psyker for my army. The crystals were given to me by a necron-playing friend of mine, though i'm waiting on my own order of them currently as frankly, they are awesome.
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1431.jpg) Cultists: Coulnt resist picking these guys up when Dark Vengeance came out. They probably won't stay as cultists but will be mingled in with the other troopers, I have already converted a few of them (not in this photo) and the rest arent painted yet
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1440.jpg) Troopers: The beginnings of my Traitors, they arent much yet but give it a few more boxes and some tanks and i'll be on my way to a fleshed out traitor army. the heavy flamer is for the command squad
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1442.jpg) More Troopers: After deliberating over getting the forgeworld renegade weapon arms I eventually gave in and ordered them, they arrived within a matter of days too which was surprising considering how slow i've heard they are. the Banner bearer and one of the special weapons will be in my command squad.
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1433.jpg) Special Weapons: The specialist half of my special weapons squad, armed with Snipers for some nice long-range killy pirate
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1443.jpg) Preists + 1st Veteran: I didnt know how to make use of some of the close combat cultists in my army, but after flicking through the codex a few times I settled on Preist conversions. So went through my Chaos Marine spares for some ChainSwords and gave them eviscerators prosthetics, I think one looks priestly to begin with, and the other looks like some mad experiment, brilliant biggrin The veteran is another cutist, with the leaders shotgun currently, hes quite WIP as Im unsure what would be a suitable other arm for him
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1438.jpg)
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/IMAG1437.jpg) Armoured Sentinel: my first traitor sentinel. handpainted the icon on. Hopefully this will be the first in a couple of squads of three.
!(https://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/SingleGunner/Warhammer/Thunderbolt2.jpg) Thunderbolt Fighter: This models a couple of years old now. I may even have an old blog on here somewhere from when i first made it (still needs the rears of the engines added...) I scratchbuilt this from plasticard because frankly FW's prices take the biscuit, and the cake, and are still hungry even after that. still quite proud of it though ninja

Lt. Brookman If looking for really good milliput go for this stuff: http://www.milliput.com/home.htm It shouldn't be hard to come by as it is a UK company that has been selling this world-wide since the 60s. Go with the yellow-grey mix found in the white box with the red lettering, you do get quite a bit of it, but if stored properly it will last you years. thats exactly the stuff i was on about haha the Hobby shop where i used to live did it in various varieties (as well as GRIP superglue, which is one of the better ones ive used) but theres nothing around here that does :/
Lt. Brookman Army Painter also has tubs of coarser grit and gravel available in a variety of colours: http://shop.thearmypainter.com/products.php?ProductGroupId=3 I'd avoid their grass flock, it's rather rubbish but their basing sets are great along with their line of various types of grass tuft, way better than the old static grass IMHO. brilliant, ill take a look through biggrin only Army Painter stock ive actually seen was what was on Wayland's. Aha the name reminded me of you but I didnt think it actually would be xD I ordered dark grey gravel from them with the other stuff but after looking at the invoice i got for them yesterday the gravel wasnt even listed, then i got a mystery Refund email from them about it, and now its not even listed on the site anymore, so thanks wayland for letting me know stare [/sarcasm]
