xxxxxPersonality: Leo is a very serious young lady and, granted, sometimes her seriousness is directed towards the wrong things - like her hobby horse, defending her height (lack thereof) or even convincing people on the many virtues of wearing plaid - but Leo is, at heart, serious in everything she does and says. Much to the occasional consternation of her surroundings. Some say that she was simply born a tactless a**, but that's not entirely true; Leo is well aware of what tact is, she just doesn't see the point in using it. Why bother to even open your mouth if you're just going to fudge up the meaning so you won't offend someone? Be straight up and stand by your opinions, that's the way to get up in the world!
Well, no, it isn't, but she hasn't really figured that out yet. She is, in some ways, still quite naïve and it is often very evident that she's just a teenager. Leo still believes in Dreadfully Ever Afters, doing the Wrong Thing and Helping Out Your Fellow Spook (all capital letters fully intended, thank you very much!), and that anything wrong with the world can be fixed with a bit of hard work and some spirit.
Which, of course, she has plenty of.
xxxxxWhy did they enroll at the academy? Because at the bottom of her heart, she truly, honestly believes in the value of education. Or not - her family enrolled her, on account of it being the best thing for a young monster to do with her time. Leo just hopes to escape somewhat unscathed.
xxxxxHistory: Leo comes from a normal family, from a normal neighbourhood and a normal childhood.
Relatively, at least. That is to say that everything
was normal, right up until Leo joined Amityville Academy; she had a large, but close-knit family, loving parents and adorable family pets.
Shortly after entering school however, disaster started to strike -
everywhere. One family emergency after another has ensured that she has missed all the big events at school, made no particular friendships and not to mention, missed tons of crucial schoolwork.
So despite having been enrolled for nearly two years now, Leo has yet to pass a single class.
Not a one.
This time however, she swears it's going to be different. For one, nothing short of a death in the family (a permanent one, thank you very much Uncle Hilbert! Becoming Undead
does not count) is going to make her leave school.
She will pass a class, even if she has to work until there's no FEAR left in her to do it, jackit!

George her trusty hobby horse. Leo owns a collection of various sizes and shapes hobby horses, but George is her first and most precious. He's also incredibly sturdy and occassionally doubles as a blunt weapon.
