Okay, he was back again, and Jason was not happy about this. He had just gotten back into his "normal" form (thank god, he was actually getting used to having breasts...that was not a good thing), and now he was stuck on patrol duty once more. He was still smarting after his last encounter, too.

But hopefully, he would be able to protect himself this time so he wouldn't go back limping. But then he would just be happy to go back without encountering any more monsters.

"Stay away, stay away, stay away..." The moon hunter muttered himself, hoping this chant would be enough to keep any of them away from the house

Roch had never actually been chosen by the house for a fight before--well, other than the time he'd spent in the haunted house as a field trip. Maybe it sensed the irritation he'd been dealing with since the trance--or maybe it just felt like trolling him. Either way, he figured as he held out a hand, summoning his guitar, this might do him good.

The punk stopped, stepping into the shadows as he heard someone chanting something quietly--"Stay away, stay away, stay away..."

Not today, hunter boil.

Was there somebody behind him? Jason felt the hair on his neck stand on end, and he whizzed around, sword pointed at a...man? A man with a Mohawk and a guitar to boot. If he wans't mistaken, this guy looked like someone from a rock band.



"O-oh, Sorry there" Jason lowered his sword."I thought you were someone else...You shouldn't be here, there are very dangerous creatures running about. If you'd like, I can show you the way out?"

"A hunter," Roch said. "Sorry, boil, but you're absolutely right on that," he said, stepping forward, his guitar dragging on the ground for two seconds before he brought it up--much like a golf club--and slammed it into the hunter's FEAR shield.

"There ARE dangerous creatures in here."

"B-boil?!" Jason said, followed by a startled cry as the boil all but swung his guitar at him.

...He had never seen anyone use a guitar like that

Yelled his weapon.

"NOWS NOT THE TIME!" the moon hunter accidentally shouted as he swung his sword wildly.

Roch started laughing. It wasn't a happy laugh, it was a bit malicious sounding, honestly. He brought up his guitar again, intent on killing this hunter. They had killed his uncle--not that this kid was old enough--

They killed Tex, he told himself coldly, ruthlessly hitting the hunter again.

That laugh, which sounded more like someone on those horror TV shows, sent chills down Jason's spine, and he appeared utterly terrified. Sure, Roch did not possess any sharp teeth or vicious claws (or zombie parts...god he hated zombies), but it was clear he intended to finish Jason off, and that alone was enough to frighten the moon hunter.

As the guitar-club came at him again, he moved past the attack, trying not to think about the damage it was doing, and brought his sword up to thrust it forwards at the reaper. Human though he looked, he did not want to die today.

Roch jerked back, then disappeared for a moment, leaving only a small puff of black smoke. Then he appeared behind the hunter and slightly to the side, his guitar in position to play.

His fingers found the A chord, and he played it. And nothing happened. Greeeeat.

"s**t, were did he-"

Jason freaked when Roch disappeared, trying desperately to locate the man before something happened. Only when he realized he was behind him, it was to late to do anything.

He whizzed around, watching as he tried to play his guitar...

..but nothing happened.

There was a moments silence as he looked at the guitar with morbid curiosity, wondering what would have happened had he been able to play it. Would his ears have bleed? Hypothesis?

The FEAR input amount had changed. Jackdammit. Roch gritted his teeth as he was hit again, pulling his guitar off and swinging it at the sword wielding hunter. He should have practiced. Hell, he hadn't been in a fight since he became a Hob.

He would just have to BEAT the guy to death. He could do that.

Jason brought his sword up to block the incoming swing, feeling his hands jar with the blow to the metal weapon. He could see Zanthvos had begun to glow, black energy swirling around the sword. It was a sign he was fully charged.

Jumping backwards, he changed his stance; one leg forward with the other backwards, sword held at his side. He then swung the blade in a horizontal arc, sharp needles of energy firing straight for Roch

Images through Tex's eyes flashed through his mind, watching as the cowboil tried, and failed, to help without hurting. They had killed him. Or they had made him into something like the sword this boil was waving around. His heart started pounding in his chest and his eyes glazed over with rage for a moment--

No, now was the time to focus. HIT HIM. He slammed his guitar into the hunter's gut, hitting him hard.

Jason had thought he had landed a pretty hefty hit, but he saw the flash of rage behind the man's eyes, and this distracted him. He then felt the force of the guitar hitting his stomach, hunching a little from the pain. Grunting, he knocked the guitar out of the way and swung his sword.

He just hoped he could defeat this boil before he was defeated in turn.

Roch disappeared again, appearing across the room and pulling his guitar over his shoulder again. He probably didn't NEED to do this yet, but he wasn't going to take any chances. There was the possibility that the FEAR input on his healing chord had changed as well.

His fingers found the C Chord and he touched them, taking a deep breath and focusing--calling up his FEAR to shove through his guitar--and playing it. The boil seemed to glow for a moment, the bruises and tiredness disappearing, until he stood in front of the hunter, looking a good deal better than he had before.

That probably wasn't a good thing.

When his opponent disappeared again, he expected him to be behind him, but instead he was in another area of the room; trying to buy time for something, which appeared to be using his guitar, and this time he actually succeeded in playing it.

and for someone who was a evil monster hell bent on killing him...he was pretty good.

When he appeared in front of Jason again (and noticing how he seemed healed...FFFUU), he stared numbly at him.

"..Music heals the weary soul?" he stuttered, then tried to hit him with the flat side of his sword, and failed.
