PostPosted: Sun Jun 10, 2012 12:05 pm
The year is 2874, it has been four years after the Apocalypse of Earth. The Four Horsemen rode and rid the Earth of the wicked, but now the Seven Deadly Sins, led by Pride, seek to conquer those that remain of Earth. While the lost souls that were neither accepted into Heaven nor Hell now walk the face of the Earth as Zombies, the remaining people have come together to fight for humanity. There are no nations, countries, or governments....only S.T.R.O.N.G, a order that has the main goal of preserving the knowledge of mankind and repopulating. They have bases scattered around the world, and an army to help fight against the zombies. The Sins aim to overtake mankind while it as at it's weakest and rule the Earth, while the Virtues try to foil their plans so that humanity my survive. The Arch-Angels Gabriel and Michael, stand guard at The Gate, a portal to the Kingdom of Heaven. They stand to offer advice to the Humans, and to help keep the Legions of Hell from invading Heaven and the Earth. While the Arch-Demon Samael helps ready the Legion for war, and aids the Sins in claiming souls to fight in the upcoming Armageddon. While the zombies are neutral, they tend to be swayed by one side or the other from time to time. While all this happens within the realm of Earth, the Four Horsemen: Death, War, Conquest, and Famine, sit upon their steeds at the four corners of the Earth. From time to time they ride among the mortals, other times Legion, and yet other times among the Army of the Divine.

But who will win this battle before the war? Will the humans beat the zombies? With the Sins, beat the humans? With the Virtues beat the Sins? With the Legion beat the Army? Or will the Horsemen beat them all? The future of humanity and Earth, are in the balance.

Choose your side:
Fight as a Sin, Virtue, Demon, Angel, Human, Zombie...or be one of the Riders of Doom...and be a Horseman of Armageddon.

Rules:

While this is a role play and a place for fun, there are also rules that must be in place to make things run more smoothly and make things fair for all characters.

1. Do not God-mode or Auto-hit, it is unfair, rude, and disrespectful. Though at some point you may encounter a player that will God-mode against you, if this happens you are entitled to one counter God-mode attack. And as they are ideally the strongest of the characters, the Horsemen may God-mode when dealing with a problematic Gaian.

2. Literacy rocks! Please try your best to use proper grammar. Do not use chat, and text speak in characters posts.

3. Do not bump this thread, or ask for donations. If someone wants you help you they will, no need to make yourself look to be a bum.

4. Try your best to be politically correct, as some words and terms are offensive. Each person here is a unique individual, with their own opinions, do not try to force you own view down the throats of others.

5. Make sure that your character and yourself stay within the Gaia Terms of Service. Any violators will be reported to a Admin after three warnings.

6. Try your best to keep drama out of the role play thread, this isn't high school. As a matter of fact, please try to keep the Out of Character talk to PM's and out of the thread as it messes up the role play.

7. Be active. All members are expected to post a minimum of four times a week, and more than just one liners. If you are a Horseman you are required to post a minimum of six times a week.

8. Be sure to check this post from time to time as Rules may change or be added.

Death sat upon the top of the ruin of Burj Khalifa, in his throne. His Scythe, Crisis, the Latin name for Judgement, rested in his right hand. His horse, Binky, stood at his left. He scanned the Earth below him, watching as things unfolded. As Death was neutral, he didn't feel it was needed for him to involve himself in the chaos below. A small Survival Cell of humans was fighting a small Zombie horde. The sound of automatic gun fire barely reaching his ears, at the height at which he sat. Not far off from that, a Demon was doing his best to beat an Angel with a sword of Hell Stone. Death chuckled at the sight, for the Demon was doing nothing more than bugging the Angel as a gnat would bug a picnicker.

It was rather odd to him that most of the Sins were in the United States, while most of the Virtues were on the other side of the world. He knew his brothers would do nothing, unless things got out of hand or one of the Brothers blew the Horn and caused them to take action. With a sigh he shook his head and stroked Binky's mane as he waited for something to catch his attention.

(I'd like to be the Sin of Lust)

It was a boring day in America. Humans fighting for their lives and zombies swayed towards our side. So much for neutral. It was a good thing those blasted Virtues were In Eurasia. I noticed that the day was diminished quickly and I had done nothing to prodictive. No humans swayed towards Sin. Men were simple targets. Just put a beautiful woman in front of him and all his thoughts disappeared and were replaced by hormones. I dropped from my perch in a dead tree and started towards a human camp. Plenty of men, not as many women. When someone as gorgeous as me walked in, nothing would stop them from thinking with their privates. My dress was very clingy, low cut, and accented every flattering thing about me. My dark, long, flowing hair shined with the sunset.

I entered the human camp and saw one of the men hanging out by himself. Perhaps on guard for this side of camp. I strode towards him, preparing for seduction. I saw inside his mind the woman he imaginged to be in bed with. I felt my from shape as I walked towards him. My hair becoming short, light brown, my body becoming less curvy and more straight. "Hello, why don't you come with me and leave this boring guard job." I purred. The guys eyes lit up at my tone and so did something else. Accomplishemnt for one day. I lured him into a tent and accomplished my one productive task.

Death arose from his throne, and cracked his bony knuckles as he looked out over the horizon. He watched as the last of the zombies fell before the humans, and saw that the demon was laying dead at the angel's feet. It was odd watching something die, while at the same time knowing you had a part in it. He may not have been the one that stabbed the demon, but it was he that took its life, for he was Death.

Walking to the edge of the building, the Horseman looked straight down, and without a thought stepped over the edge and began to fall towards the Earth far below. When he was a little better than half way down the building he whistled and Binky followed him over the edge and soon was under his Rider. Death landed in the saddle as easy as though he was on the ground, grabbed the reins and spurred Binky. The horse began to move its legs in a running motion and right before they hit the ground, shot back up into the sky. Moving at nearly the speed of light, the Rider and his steed were in what used to be Washington D.C, on the roof of what used to be the Capital building.

Death dismounted and looked around. Off in the distance he could see the Library of Congress, the worlds biggest library. With no more than a though his form shifted into a black mist and weaved its way towards the building.
Once inside he returned to solid form, the stench of old books filling his nostrils. He looked around, seeing that the country was reclaiming the building as grass and small trees and vines grew within the place of knowledge. The floor was covered with dirt, and dried mud, from when the swamp Washington was built on flooded.

It was clear that there had been people here, and not to long ago at that, but it seemed that they had since left. People, he though, must be looking for food. Finding the old place boring, Death remounted his steed outside, and slowly made his way to the infamous Lincoln Memorial. At the monument , he could smell.....flesh. Live flesh. He extended his right arm and his scythe appeared, for he was unsure it the person was still sane, or if they would try to kill him. He laughed at them when they tried to kill him, he took the time to play with them as a cat plays with a mouse before he eats it.

He walked up the stairs of the Memorial, stepping over the vines and other plants that had taken over the marble structure. The Horseman stepped through to the other side and saw the one giving off the smell. At the base of the statue of Lincoln sitting his chair, was a small girl of about thirteen with her back towards Death. She was looking at the large statue, then looked at something in her lap. As he moved closer he could see that there were books beside her, and that she had one in her lap. He stood there, less than four feet away and watched the child.

She was reading and unaware of his presence. When she looked up at the statue again, he spoke. "Don't worry when you are not recognized, but strive to be worthy of recognition." The girl gave a startled jump and stood, she then turned to see who had spoke. She gave another startled jump upon seeing him, a sickly looking man in black robes holding a scythe. She started stepping backwards, and he spoke again. " Fear me not, child. I will not harm you." he said and moved to sit on a stone bench. He motioned for her to join him, but could tell she seemed hesitant.
After a moment the girl spoke. " I know who you are. You are Death...the Grimm Reaper. You serve the bad people and want to eat my soul." The Horseman chuckled at the child's words and replied: " Yes and no. Yes, I am Death, no I do not want to eat your soul. As for me 'serving' the bad guys, that is not true, but neither do I serve the good guys. I am what one would call neutral." he said, then spoke again after a moment of silence. " Abraham Lincoln, I remember him. It was a shame that he had to be taken so young."
The girl looked at him oddly, then moved closer to sit next to him upon the bench. " I think so too." she said quietly. " The books say you are bad."

Death thought a moment then turned to her and spoke. " Would you call the Sun bad? It gets so hot to the point were it kills plants needed for food, and at times it even kills people. But at the same time, it gives us light so that we do not walk around in darkness. So it is neither good nor bad, it is neutral."
He could see the child think a moment, then answered: " So...you aren't bad...but..you aren't good...you're...both? "
The Rider smiled, and looked at the child. " You could say that. We all have our sins, and we all have our virtues. But it is which we choose to embrace that defines us."
The girl scooted closer to him, then thought a moment. She looked to the statue, and then turned to Death. " What was he like? " she asked.
Death looked at the statue, then back at the girl before answering. " Well, in eighteen o'nine, on the twelve of February......"

I smiled grimly as I rose from the cot inside the tent. There was nothing like having a sin commited. He was unmarried, not engaged. He longed for, lusted for, that young women my body had changed to. I left the tent in my orginal form and started away. Virgins were the best to commit to sin. Chastity couldn't reclaim one who had sinned even if the Heaven forgave them. Chastity only kept pure men and women, that only slept with each other after marriage.

I was in Washington. It was wonerful in a way. So many sins commited here. Lying politicains, unfaithful leaders. This was a beautiful place to be. Pride, my leader should be calling us together soon. We had to make our move against the virtues. Nothing would suffice my need to beat Chastity, not until I had claimed all believers of Him. I walked luxoriously towards the white house. It had long since been abandoned. I was hoping I might find at least some virgins to claim.

I stepped over the fallen gate. Zombies had attacked this place in the previous war against humans when they were on Sin and Demon side. As I stepped over the threshold, I sensed someone. A demon. He appeared infront of me. For a demon he was fairly attractive. He was commander here or Washington. He had some horns sticking out of his blue head and a spiked tail. Spikes lined his body and his eyes were pure black. "Hello Tarem."
"Lust, how have you been."
"You do not truely care. Demons never care. Why bothering ask my dear?" Seduction leeked into my voice.
"I need some help. An angel has just defeated one of my men. I figured you would like the chance to taint the purest creatures of them all."
A wicked smile appared on my face. "Why, Tarem I would just love to seduce an angel."

"Days and night would go buy and the body's would only grow onto the side walk. People were dropping like fly's or completely disappearing was it the last days or was this some kind of plague? Plans fell from the sky like bombs as the government blasted there stay home TV shows set to replay over and over. Something tells me not even the government knew what was going on and had left the country all together. Livening in the DC area wasn't that much fun to begin with but now the crazy's you would see at wallmart were banging your doors down eating eveything as if there wasn't any food or water left in the world. Only if it weren't true water turned to blood and most of the food supply had got sour within days of the happening. I got my hands on my neighbors gun wall, he wasn't going to use them he had poofed rite in front of me as if he combusted into nothingness and he's wife dead as a door nail she had taken her own life.

As for me I take shelter in the library of congress still converting some of the place to withstand a tank if needed but the days are colder and things are dwindling fast taking everything I can get my hands on. Something dose not make since as waves of flying people flocking and snatching people up even the dead. They look evil and iv done my best avoiding them but I fear I will have to fight before this is all over, and ill be ready for them I pray that the cavalry comes before to long
"

he sits within the library clicking a recorder to off with a good stash of supply and guns about he's bandages show sine's of were and tare and the days had given him he's fare share of problems resting for the next day to dawn.

Tarem led me towards where his comrade had fallen. Hmm . . . he wasn't a very strong looking demon, perhaps he had some hidden powers taht were not seen at a glance. I saw an Angel not far away, about a football field. A female angel. All it would take was a passionate kiss from a Sin and the angel would fall. I smirked, "Leave it me Tarem. This one will be easy." The walk was a short one. As I neared I realized the damn thing was praying! Actually praying! It had slane a demon! Shouldn't that not be a crime?

As I neared I saw the picture in her mind of her beloved. Another angel. He was a very handsome and pure creature. He had light blonde hair, with glowing green eyes. I could not mimic an angel exactly. The appearance of wings would have been altered. I could how every mimic the human appearances of the Angels. Stupid creatures. Not even the slightest bit cunning. Always telling the truth in a soft little voice and always praying to one who abandoned everyone else to this world of war.

"My dearest, what have you done?" I said in her beloved's voice.
"Oh, it's terrible Aaron, I have slain something."
I smiled and placed a hand on her back. This was to easy. "Sweet, what have you slain?" I questioned falsly worried.
"It was a demon."
"A demon? My dear, those are cunning creatures. Masters of evil and wrong doing. It is not as wrong as you think it might be."
"Aaron, could you stay with me?"
"Of course. Of course."
"Aaron, what is my name?" Her name? Hmph, maybe Angels weren't as dumb as I portrayed them to be. I couldn't pull out her name, only her lover or love.
"Why would you ask such a silly question my dear?"
She looked up at me with steady brown eyes. "Where are you wings?" Something sparked in her eye then. She knew it was not her beloved. She produced a sword. "Who are you?" She knocked me away from her and held the sword to my throat. No point keeping up the charade. I transformed back to my original form.
"The Sin of Lust, and you almost fell for it Angel. It is a wonder you have not already Fallen."
"Sin, stay away from me!" The Angel yelled. She began backing away.
"You realize only Chastity can make me fall, is this why you have not tried slaying me?"
"Stop blabbering Sin, I do not want to associate with your damned kind!" Angel shouted. Her wings flapped open and then she ascended into the air. Well then not quite what I was expecting from the creature, but at least she could tell when she was being tricked.

I got off the ground and dusted myself off. Tarem was striding towards me quickly. "I suppose your angered with me!" I hollered across the field.
"You let a little angel best you! The Sin of Lust!"
"Well, I'm not perfect now am I?"
"You very well better be! You can mimic human and demons! You can mimic Angels human bodies! Yet you can't best one!" Tarem shouted in my face when he neared me. "You are almost near worthless!"
"How dare you call me worthless!"
He raised a hand then crack! It his across my face so hard that I flew a couple feet and fell to the ground. "How I dare? I dare because I am the devil's advocate! You ever talk to me with disrespect again and you will wish you had never been created!"

The child and the Horseman talked until dark, and the Rider escorted young Miss to her place of residence..the white house. It had been turned into a shelter for the Survivor Cells and was their HQ in the U.S. But the White House was a target for survivors not a part of the cell, and also demons. Death walked the girl to the door, and said good night, then left.
He made his way back towards the Capital and Lincoln Memorial, more directly, the Washington Monument. With a effortless jump, the Horseman flew up and landed on the top of the monument. In the Apocalypse the top part of the Monument was broken off, and this allowed Death to get inside. Even though it had been four years, the vines had yet to reclaim the human relic. He walked to a corner and found a chair to rest in. He had grown used to the mortal form he was in getting tired, but he didn't mind. He closed his eyes and soon was asleep.

The morning came with the sun shining bright upon the Horseman, who stood and stretched as he looked out over the city and watched the sun make it's slow climb into the clear sky. As he stood there relaxed and unawares, a demon suddenly appeared before him and before he could react, threw him over the edge into the morning. As Death fell he regained his instincts and got himself up-right, and landed on the earth below, causing a small crater to form.
The Horseman looked up and snickered as he saw the demon jump and land a few feet away. The demon shifted back and forth, as if uneasy, and hissed when he spoke.
" The Horsssseman of Deathhhhh, you have no placccce here! Leave, before it issss too late."
The Rider stood straight and squared his shoulders, and replied to the demon. " I don't take orders from the likes of you, I give them. Now leave me be, before I make you sorry you bothered me."
" Foolissshhhhhh Rider!! I only obey the Dark King, and you ssshall die before lunchhh." the demon said, as he lunged at Death.
The Rider easily dodged the attack and retaliated with a blow to the demons head with the blunt end of his scythe. The demon fell and rolled with the hit, he then came up rubbing the back of his head, then in a quick move sent a fireball of molten rock towards the Horseman. Death spun to avoid the blast, but was still caught with some of the hot lava. When the Rider looked at the demon again, part of the Rider's face was gone and the skeleton underneath could be seen. The Horseman knelt as his arms turned into a black mist an entered the ground.
The ground around the demon cracks and rises into two concrete hands. One grabs the demon while the other forms a fist and drives the demon to the ground. The demon stay there for a moment, then slowly made his way back to is feet. " Isss that all you can do? Your pathetic, Horsssseman." the demon hissed. The Rider raised an eyebrow and re-gripped him with one stone hand and with the other twisted the demon's head off. The hands then released the body and head as Death stood and walked towards the two. The demon's head lay there, still blinking and then spoke as the Horseman neared. " You think you have wonnn?" The Rider smiled and replied. " Won, no...but then again...I still have my head." and as the Horseman finished speaking, he drew back his right foot and sent the head flying as he kicked it towards a field goal only Death could see. The Horseman then turned on his heel and strode to where Binky stand, a few hundred feet away. He remounted the steed and aimed his mount towards New York City.

I awoke in the morning on the field, sunlight blinding me. I could see movement over at the white house. Hmm, fresh meat perhaps? I made my way carefully over to the white house. Demons were not surrounding it, angels were not surrounding it, but zombies! Oh the wretched things. They smelled absolutely wretched and I couldn't stand them! If they were helping my side though, I could handle the stench for a minute or two. "What are you doing here?" I questioned one of them.
We . . . humans . . . 'side. . . Hungry." It said. It was so mangled I couldn't tell by it's body what gender it was. Nor by the voice because of the hard speech. This was one dumb zombie. At least most could hold a simple conversation.
"Not yet! I must scour for fresh meat. After I have found my lot you may have them."
"Yes . . . Lust." Pleasing the damned knew my name. I walked ahead of all the living dead and strode towards the White house. Peculiar place this was. It had been run down even before the apocolypse, now it looked even less inviting. A group was hudelled near the entrence. There were about thirty men and women scrounging up supplies to react when the zombies came.
"Where are the young?" I asked in a booming voice. All heads sweerved towards me. I could almost taste the salivating from the men.
"Who are you?" One of the women asked.
"None, of your business. I am giving you extra time, where is the young?"
"Getting prepared to leave with one of our mothers." A man replied.
"Thank ya' handsome." I said, seduction dripping from my words. I could feel his hormonens rise.
"In the kitchen." One of the women glared at me. I walked away, putting emphasis on my swaying hips. I found the kitchen easily. about ten children ranging from baby to 16 year olds. A woman was preping the babies and handing them to the older children. One in particular caught my eye. Around the age of fifteen. She wasn't fancying anybody currently, but there was someone on her mind. Someone that had been around since the beginning of the living. Death. This would be intriguing. The Horsemen of Death had interacted with this dear child and she could not stop thinking about him. I'd never attempted mimicking one of the four Horsemen. This should be interesting. Very interesting.

On his way out of town, the Pale Rider stopped at a garden that had somehow remained intact and unobstructed by nature. As he admired the flowers and smelled the roses, he caught another sent. It was a sweet sent, one rich with pheromones. There was also a tainted sent, one of corruption and the potential of true evil...the Sin on Lust. Death walked to Binky and mounted the steed, then aimed him in the direction that the sent grew stronger.
The Rider was a little surprised to find that the sent was strongest here, at the white house. With a few words of Latin, the Horseman's eyes changed and he was able to see within the house. There, she was in the kitchen...talking to Janet, the girl he had met at the Lincoln Memorial.
The Horseman spoke again in Latin and began to grow transparent. He then proceeded to walk past the guards at the front door. Death normally went out of his way to avoid the Sins and Virtues alike, for if he did you would not remain neutral as needed. He made his way to the kitchen unseen and took in what he saw. There was Janet, and a few others, and the Sin. Still invisible, Death reached out with his mind to the Sin, so not to alert the others of his presence. " What are you doing here, Sin? These people have enough hardships without you adding to them. Leave, or else."

Quite a scandal this was turning out to be! Death, talking to me! About a girl. He cared about her perhaps? I was about to find out. "Oh, but Death! I am just having some fun. You like to have fun don't you. Taking the lives of people. I wonder! Could you be hoping to spare these people from another hardship of a zombie attack, just for one little girl?" I pouted. "You should remain neutral my dear friend, for if you don't the balance will be over thrown and then end of the world will come. Do you wish to bring that on. All because of one . . . silly . . . little . . . girl?" I said. Smirking as I projected that speech ofo sorts to his mind.
"So Janet dear, why don't you come with me and we will get away before the zombies come."
"I have to stay with the group ma'am. If I leave, they could loose more. I have to take care of the children." Janet responded. She was sizing me up. I could see it.
"We can take one of the children with us! The one you must care for! We need to leave. I know how to get out of here without the undead attacking us." I kept the purr from my voice relunctantly.
"Well, alright. I suppose. Can we take the rest of the group then. If you can get us out, surely you can get them out." Oh plea bargains! Such a hassle. If I couldn't do it soon, Chastity would win! I could not let that happen!
PostPosted: Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:36 pm
Death curled his lip in distaste of the direction things were going. " Dare you defy me, Sin? The Horsemen have always kept the balance of the universe, and this girl plays a major part in the history of this realm. It is not her fate to die this day. I shall repeat only once more, leave now."

When he finished speaking he returned to solid visible form for all to see. He glanced at Janet, and spoke to her softly. " Close your ears and fortify your heart, for the Sin of Lust is the most common and the easiest to give into."

"Why, yes I do dare defy you! This world is fragile enough. You know only Chastity can beat me. If she were here I would more than willing to battle it out! You can not claim rule over me until I am on my death bed. Chastity will never win. Especially with hormonal teenagers and cheating men. Leave the poor girl to her fate. Sin." I replied and stepped forward.
"Girl, listen to me. Death is not an allie. He will kill you eventually take your life! Stay with me. Sin is unavoidable, and your dear leader will forgive you won't he?" I saw her look between Death and me. She could not choose against me. I was Lust! I am Lust! Easily tempted are people in my presence.
"I . . . I will not go with you Sin. I wil stay neutral. Just as Death is."
"Damn you girl! You will regret this!" I yelled. I walked steadily from the White house out to the horde of zombies.
"Take them all! All of them! No one in there will please me! Now!" I commanded, waving a hand back wards towards the house. It was never good to get rejected, especially not by a naive fool! The zombies ran in for an attack. I didn't stay to watch. If they failed I would not be happy and just my Sin everybody!
I walked towards the Washington Monument. As I neared I saw a body. A demon body to be exact. I walked over and crouched down next to it. Tsking I looked around for it's head. The treachorous creature had been a lower level. And he had been decapitated. I saw his head, very far away. I felt as if I knew who had done this. Death. No one could decapitate a demon like this with such a thick neck with a regular old weapon. Death did this. He could not pay . . . he was basically already dead. I sighed and walked away. Pride had mentioned the meeting being in LA. All Sins must converge there and he would probablly call it soon. If only I could find a flying demon to take me there. I wish I could mimic the creature at any time. I decided to try it. I felt my body shift into a dragon demon. Hmm, well that is convienent. I took off towards LA. Devil, I loved being Lust!
