[1 v 1] So, About That Wrestling Match...(Yin and M. Temes)

Two fights down today, and Yin was ready for more. He had taken a chance to get some water and take a breather since his fight earlier, but he had not rested up fully, not given his body a proper chance to re-cooperate.

That did not stop him from approaching Mademoiselle Temes when he saw her entering the gymnasium. "Greetings," Mademoiselle Temes. He suddenly remembered something from the trials, though thankfully it was a memory from Famine and not the trial of Death. "I know that we intended to wrestle the other day and never got a chance, but would you like to spar with me?" he questioned somewhat hopefully. Because, bruised midsection and swollen jaw aside, he was really hoping to do something before he started to think again.

Chuppi had been heading to the gym for exercise, not really looking for a fight, but as soon as she entered it was like Yin had been looking specifically for her - the weremantis was at her side and asking for a wrestling match. It had taken her aback for a moment, his sudden appearance startling her to the point she had to bite her lip to prevent a scream coming out, but she calmed down easily and her cheeks flushed themselves red with color and warmth. It was good to see Yin again, good to see him again in this form, and Chuppi reached out and placed a hand against his arm. He might shy away, sure, but she couldn't help it.

"Do forgive this please, but -" She wrapped her arms about him for a hug, one that barely lasted two seconds, yet was still there. It was warm, strong, and it conveyed her emotions towards him without any hesitation. Chuppi had missed him and felt so much relief at being welcomed back to his side, even if it was just for a match. "But yes, sorry. We should play."

If the hand on his arm freaked him out slightly the hug certainly did. He tensed up, somehow even more one edge now than he had already been, but it was over quickly enough. And ghouls...you never knew what ghouls would do. If they wanted a hug there was nothing to do but accept it.

To cover up his discomfort he slipped into a battle ready position. "Please do not hold back, if we do not push ourselves than we cannot get stronger." He chose not to mention that today? Today he welcomed the pain.

Chuppi felt bad, she'd felt Yin tense up at her hug, but she didn't regret it. Her affection for him had been pure and well, he'd need to get used to hugs eventually. He and Alex were always hugging right?

When he moved into position Chuppi did too, though she didn't lunge at him. Instead she took a few deep breaths and finally exhaled, her quills pushing themselves outward to look more like a heavy shield. They couldn't move on their own, it wasn't like she could fully control them one by one, but at least she could puff them out on her command. "Do come!"

Alexander would probably have been a much happier zomboil if Yin would agree to hug him on even a daily basis. But, Yin was progressing, which was all that one could really ask for.

The ghoul seemed ready for an attack and he was not going to hold back. No today. "As you wish," he informed the smaller figure before dropping into a crouch, his leg sweeping out to try to knock her off balance.

Chuppi braced herself for the attack, it was strong and it did send her turning a bit on her feet, but she was much heavier than Yin and therefore wasn't as easy to move. She turned and swiped at him with her claws before trying to force him into a corner, intending to tackle him down and press her weight against him. Instead she tripped and fell, landing flat on her face on the gym floor.

Her quills wilted as the FEAR vanished from them, the chupacabra mortified.

"Are you alright?" The weremantis was worried, hoping that he had not injured her ankles enough to make her fall. He reached down to help her up, though with long, clawed fingers it was a bit hard to not accidentally scrape her as he tried to offer assistance.

"Gracias. I am okay, sorry for making you worry." Chuppi was thankful for the help to her feet, even if it meant she got scratched, but then again when she took Yin's hand she scratched him too. Her nails were sharp on the ends of her hands, not at all like normal human fingernails, and they dug into his flesh. "Sorry."

Chuppi released Yin's hand and moved back into a fighting position, wondering just how she could wrestle without impaling her friend. This was a challenge.

Yin tried not to wince as her nails dug in, but it was not too big of a deal and once she was on her feet she released him. "It is fine. I should know that you can handle more than that." Wrestling or just sparring, he really did not care at this point. He just wanted to do something.

Even if that something meant injuring others. Perhaps if he injured her enough she would fight back with more fervor. He lunged at her, closing in and then bringing his knee in toward her abdomen, a slightly difficult attempt due to her height but that certainly did not stop him.

Chuppi wasn't so sure now if what they were doing was more or less actually fighting. There didn't seem to be any wrestling to it, that thought confirmed when she was kneed in the stomach, and the monster gagged and staggered backwards. She clutched at her sides as the feeling of bile rose in her throat, but she didn't let the pain show on her face. She needed to learn to develop a poker face if she didn't want to let people down and so she shrugged it off the best she could and took a few steps forward.

And punch Yin square in his stomach, her stance shifting in her weight so she got a good strike in.

Hearing her gag Yin knew precisely how powerful that last blow had been. But she was moving forward and punching him, a blow that landed solidly in his stomach, knocking the wind out of him in a surprised hiss.

Maybe he needed to change tactics, to actually try to wrestle a bit. So he stepped closer rather than farther away, reaching for her shoulders and trying to find a way to wrestle her toward the ground, not that he was really getting anywhere with it.

Chuppi didn't like being held down, she didn't like being pressed on, and so she bunched up her shoulders as Yin touched her and grabbed at is arms and legs. She easily lifted him off and away from her before tossing him against the wall. It appeared she would fight back more once her life was in danger or if she needed to prove a point.

It also just went to show she was super strong. Or at least knew how to lift super hard.

Yin twisted somewhat so that when he hit the wall it was not as bad as it could have been, and as he fell to the floor he slapped it, limiting the damage there as well. But still, it was a lot to try to recover from.

He got back to his feet slowly, readying himself for her next attack but as she had thrown him he was in no position to actually attack her until they were within range, so he simply edged closer.

Damage, deal damage. Chuppi took a few steps towards Yin and grabbed him by the leg as he inched closer, her small size allowing for her to get in and get at him before he could get to her. The end result was her pulling his leg out from under him, staggering him slightly, and she delivered a punch into his stomach.

Her eyes were blank, staring ahead. She either must have zoned out or was taking this all entirely too seriously.

He was off-balanced but he did not fall. It still took a lot of effort to keep on his feet, and he could not dodge or even block her punch. He quickly lashed out with a punch of his own aimed at her shoulder, but his weight was off-centered and this blow lacked the power that he was capable of. He was already in a fighting zone, just needing the release of energy. Anything not to think anymore. Anything not to dwell on the night before.
