WHERE IS THE JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD?
Where is it?
Let me set you the scene.
This afternoon, after swimming last period, everyone was crying.
And nobody is talking.
Imagine how hard it is to find out what's going on.
That's me.
Walking past so many people hugging and crying isn't good.
Even the seniors were hushed and teary.
Our school is an all girls, with a school population of about 600, so we're all pretty close.
I found out some stuff, and some rumours.
I'm not sure what to believe now.
Everyone agrees that she died though.
Myth 1) The girl ran away from home [because her bf broke up with her, and her parents refused to pay for her ball/prom] and she gor raped and murdered.
Myth 2) Year 12's at our school can walk out of school during lunch, and it's rumoured the girl got run over/went missing
Although, I'm not sure of the details, but I'm a wreck.
I'm thinking it's more of myth 2, so that's the rumour I'm siding with, but I guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out the truth.
I can't stop shaking, I'm so scared.
And it gets worse.
I think it's one of my friend's sister.
Shid.
Anyway.
I guess I'm really shocked.
It doesn't really sink in until it happens to someone close to you.
And you don't realise how much you treasure the innocence until it happens I guess.
But seriously where is the justice that everyone craves when things happen. Why do people do the things they do?
Why didn't the driver stop?
Why wasn't there anybody there to help her/ stop her?
Why was it her?
I know certain members of APG have experienced this kind of guilt and sadness.
And I know I'm not thinking straight.
