~~ Mahapadma Profiles ~~
 Name: Samsara
Position: Group Leader
Personality: Samsara is vengeful and cruel. She can be very subtle and manipulative of soquili to try to warp them, but sometimes her cravings for violence overwhelm her subtly and she simply attacks. To other skinwalker and likewise evil soquili she is wary, but willing and able to use them for her own ends as well. With her strong vindictive streak and her ability to bend other soquili to reach her goal, she is a force to be reckoned with.
History: Samsara grew up in a loving family, even under the shadow of the kalona blood that came from her father's side. She was growing up a normal, if a bit shy, filly when she met her sister for the first time. Adour had grown up away from the family and, unlike Samsara and her siblings, had learned to hunt. Though Samsara was initially repulsed by the idea of eating meat her sister slowly wore away her reservations and eventually managed to get Samsara to take her first taste.
That first bite of meat seemed to awaken in Samsara feelings and cravings that she had never before acknowledged. Though she was still morally opposed to the eating of meat she began to indulge herself from time to time when her willpower wore thin. These slip-ups began to haunt Samsara and drew her away from her family and most of the rest of soquili-kind.
One dark night she was discovered preying upon an animal and cursed to be a skinwalker. Her old timidity vanished and she finally accepted her bloodlust. Her father Hayagriva rejected her when he saw her transformed and this incited a powerful grudge within her. From then on, Samsara made it her personal goal to make Haya's life miserable and to tear down everything he stood for.
Recently, Samsara launched an attack on the Padmapani herd along with Mahapadma and other allies. This resulted in the death of four Padmapani members, including both of the herd leaders. After killing her grandmother and launching her father into despair and rage, Samsara considered her revenge against him complete. Now, she lives her life free from the burden of her hatred of Hayagriva.

 Name: Unenlagia
Position: Second in command
Personality: Unenlagia is conniving and vicious. He has all the instincts and drive of a predator but frustration with his lack of the physical features necessary to truly indulge his urges. He gets around this with his human rider. She is his fangs and claws and together they hunt... often seeking other soquili as prey. Unenlagia is deeply loyal and affectionate to his rider, a sentiment that doesn't extend to any other soquili. He loves her as if she were a soquili herself and would protect her with his life if necessary. Unenlagia tends to be a loner among his own kind. He doesn't feel similar or connected to other soquili. Though inwardly he might feel somewhat lonely, his habit of hunting down his own kind limits his interactions he can have with them.
History:
Mate Status: Has a fling going
Name: Rosiotti
Position: Fighter
Personality: Rosiotti was once a lover but now the closest thing he feels to love is an unending desire to have Samsara's respect. He follows her every order without question and would gladly kill anyone if she wished it. However, he has absolutely no fondness, nor trust, in the other Mahapadma members, especially Laiga. Outside of Samsara's orders, he takes pleasure in toying with weak and innocent Soquili, using whatever means he can to torment them should they ever make the mistake of wandering into his woods.
History: Long story short, Rosi never felt like he fit in with his family so he struck out on his own as soon as possible. Eventually he found a spirited young mare who stole his heart. Then broke it. In this angry and hurt state Rosi stumbled across Samsara, who took advantage of his confused emotions and convinced him to attack an innocent Soquili. Everything just went downhill from there until the attack on the Padmapani where he witnessed the skinwalker Zulian murder two of the members. It was then that he decided the only way to truly gain Samsara's respect was to become a skinwalker himself.

Name: Douglas Grifon
Position: Fighter
Personality: Douglas thinks everyone is out to get him, and likes to yell "No Trespassing!" for no reason. He is unpredictable. He likes to chase others with his ax to scare them off. He can be dangerous and enjoys criminal activities
He is not the smartest soquilli out there but he does have some brawn. He does not trust others and mostly uses intimidation so he doesn't have to get close to others. If someone were to get close they would find he has a blood lust in him and occasionally will kill small animals like bunnies. He also has psychotic rages which in one occasion he killed his parents. He thinks not letting others close will keep these rages at bay. He doesn't like them because they make him feel out of control.
History: Douglas Murdered his parents when he was younger. A little while after he started to become more unhinged and was caught by the blood moon carnival in a delusional stupor. He managed to escape and has been wondering the lands since, struggling with the fight inside of him.

 Name: Bushkin
Position: Fighter
Personality: Bushkin is generally very quiet, almost unnaturally so. When she talks it is barely more than a whisper and she has a hard time being in the company of strangers for long periods of time. Her silence masks a dark secret. She claims to be possessed by a demon, a demon that makes her erratically violent from time to time. In reality, there is no demon. In her deepest heart Bushkin knows that it is her own repressed sadistic urges that cause her occasional outbreak, but she will never admit it.
History: Bushkin and her sister Pumpkin Spice were captured as foals and brought to the Blood Moon Carnival. There they were meant to be trained to be performers along with the rest. However, when the carnival came to the kawani lands, the twins managed to make their escape. They wandered alone together in the kawani lands, haunted by the things that they had learned and seen during their time at the carnival. Not long after, Bushkin began to claim that while at the carnival, a demon had taken up residence in her body...

 Name: Svanbjorn
Position: Fighter
Personality: Svanbjorn is very prideful of his kalona blood. He acts as if he were full kalona and gets very angry at anyone who points out his mixed heritage. He considers all non-kalona to be inferior to him and treats them as such. There are a select few that pass beyond these filters. Even with his haughty personality, he does make and keep some friends. He is inwardly slightly embarrassed to keep such "lowly company," but he is very loyal to them nonetheless.
History:

 Name: Carmilla
Position: Follower
Personality: Carmilla is dangerously vain. She is obsessed with keeping her beauty and resorts to ancient and vile methods to do it. She has a hot temper and doesn't forgive those that cross her. If she wasn't so arrogant she might be charming, but years of snobbishness has left her with a condescending personality.
History:
Mate Status: Mated to Svanbjorn
 Name: Daimhin
Position: Fighter
Personality: Diabolic! Daimhin has a villainous personality and loves to scheme, steal, and be generally dishonest. He also knows how to have fun and has a decent sense of humor! There is a certain obsessive side to Daimhin's personality, too. Once he sets himself to a goal he will stop at nothing until his task his accomplished.
History: Daimhin once belonged to a large and villainous group of soquili. Though Daimhin was eventually separated from this organization, he still attempts to carry with their ideals. He came to the local soquili lands hoping to find a fertile ground for new villainy.
Mate Status: Mated to Terra
 Name: Mittrei
Position: Spy (currently living with the Padmapani)
Personality: Mittrei is irreverent with a strong sense of humor and irony that often is at the expense of someone else. To those other than her family she can seem arrogant and self centered with a sharp tongue. Her sense of superiority tends to keep her emotionally distant from other soquili but she is capable of caring deeply for someone she feels is worthwhile.... not that achieving that status is an easy task. While she enjoys and guards her privacy she also gets bored after being alone for too long and will then seek out company.
History: Mittrei was born upon an island to a herd of soquili with butterfly-like markings. She was born the one flutter from a long line of normals, an awakening of a bloodline that had long been dormant. As the one flutter in a herd of butterfly-patterned soquili she was treated like a princess and lacked for nothing as she was growing up.
The older she got the more the constant attention chafed. When skinwalkers began to harass the island the attention she was receiving combined with the fear and uncertainty from the skinwalker became more than she could stand. Mittrei boldly and dangerously left the island for the mainland and became established there. She discovered that more of her family made the trip to the mainland and enjoyed their company. She mostly lives alone but it is out of preference.
Recently, she bred with the stallion Obeah. He wooed her into thinking that she was his princess but when the baskets came he stole one and disappeared. Mittrei was torn apart by this betrayal and when the baskets hatched, the foals were a constant reminder of her shame. Not being able to bear it any longer, she eventually abandoned them and went on with her life pretending they had never existed.

~~~ Plots and Recruitment ~~~

I currently have no profound plot ideas. However, I'd love to hear yours! If you are in need of a villain for your own plot, I'd be happy to try to fulfill that role with Mahapadma. It could be with just one of the members, with a small group, or with all of them, depending on what your idea calls for. Samsara is open to all sorts of villainy, but here are the things she's especially interested in:
- Corrupting soquili to evil, especially those with kalona blood
- Kidnapping a basket/foal and trying to see how wicked an adult she could turn it into
- Hurting/killing one member of a family to see the others despair
- Recruiting like-minded soquili to Mahapadma (see below!)
~ Recruiting
Samsara would really like to expand the Mahapadma so that she can do even more damage the next time she launches a large scale attack. She is looking to recruit evil or dangerous soquili, from flutters to kalonas. She isn't adverse to forcing them to join her group, but she would only try to draft those that she knew would enjoy Mahapadma. This means that while she might forcibly enlist your soquili, that if they don't feel like sticking around after then they're going to be able to leave. She's also quite pleased to accept willing converts too, of course.
Guidelines for joining Mahapadma:
1. Your soquili must have evil intent, or an otherwise dark personality.
2. Your soquili may be forced to join initially, but no one is going to keep them prisoner if they feel like splitting later. Your soq can also volunteer if they so desire!
3. Your soquili must be willing to help out in some way in Mahapadma activities. This doesn't necessarily mean by fighting, but Samsara doesn't tolerate anyone useless.
4. Your soquili must respect Samsara. She will literally tear to pieces any minion who gives her attitude.
5. If you join and then decide you don't want your soq involved anymore, please inform me so I can keep things updated. Your soq is OOC free to leave at any time, though Samsara may object and make things exciting.
6. Your soquili... doesn't have to be a soquili! Evil familiars are welcome. Even the non-predatory breeds could be very useful as spies.
Things not to worry about in joining Mahapadma:
1. I will never ever ever kill your soquili or ask you to kill your soquili unless you come to me and suggest it.
2. Samsara isn't regularly abusive to those that follow her, so your soquili won't be in physical danger from her unless they are insubordinate or incompetent. The other members may fight among each other from time to time, but it isn't a regular part of their interactions.
3. While I'd prefer active RPers, you don't have to RP that much to join.

Oliver would love to join the Mahapadma!
Oliver may look as though he is not a threat, but his mind is nothing like his appearance. Inside Oliver is a completely twisted soul, who lives to put others in fear and enjoys the sight someone quivering in fear. He keeps himself calm and collected during his torturing, because to crack any emotion isn't really his style. He carries an unfazed face as he walks around, unless a game is to be played where he throws on the prince charming smile to lure them into his traps. He is often seen calling others, "Good ma'am or sir", not out of respect, but out of habit. He also clicks his tongue while in deep thought.
He lives within the forest, it's easier for him to hunt in there and he feels more soquili venture into the forest. When he was a foal he met a filly who he lost a game to, who then taught him how to play tricks and make others fall into a state where his charm could over rule anything, making them believe they were safe, only to be lured into a trap. Oliver is also a thinker, he has quick remarks and can outwit many that try. He often is able to speak in riddles to confuse others.
One thing Oliver will never do, is back down on a kill. It does not matter if the other is begging for help, pleading for him to stop, screaming, crying, talking about a family, he just simply does not care. If he wants to kill something, nothing will stop him and he will make sure that his mission completed by any means necessary. I think it'd be really interesting for him to learn how the others hunt and how they inflict pain on others. Plus a mentor on helping him become more twisted and demented couldn't hurt!<3 |
