Thalia is that kid who is sometimes pretty cool, sometimes pretty annoying, and most of the time kind of a dork. In front of others, Thalia keeps his acting persona in full view at all times. He wishes to be an arteest and wants to be treated as such-- therefor, he has a pompous attitude thinking it lends to his image. Confident, cocksure, and a show-off: this sea-dwelling troll definitely has a distinct air about him.
He makes it a point to flaunt his acting abilities to everyone he possibly can. Not to mention flaunting any of his abilities or traits to others that he deems awesome enough to do so. Under the impression that this will make more people like him, Thalia goes to great lengths to share just how wonderful he really is. It's all just one big facade to earn the love, admiration, and recognition he craves from others. If he thinks he'll gain respect for doing something, Thalia will go out of his way to do just that.
And it truly is that-- a facade. While Thalia honestly does dream of becoming a well-known (and well-liked) actor, the face he puts on for others is just like one of the masks he wears. When alone, Thalia doubts his abilities, questions his worth, and a whole bunch of other depressing crap (sheesh). He gauges his self-worth based on how he's viewed by others, so he works hard to be seen as great by his peers. Getting a good reaction from fellow trolls is quite possibly the best feeling in the world for Thalia
Along with the good feelings, Thalia is susceptible to the emotions of others. Through learning his art of acting, Thalia became a very empathetic troll. It's hard to ignore the tone of a group of trolls, and it's easy to pick up on how someone is feeling. This also makes Thalia very emotional when it comes to watching movies. If an actor is amazing (like Troll Patrick Stewart), Thalia will completely lose himself to the performance and weep manly tears. Because of this, Thalia tends to watch movies on his own, but loves to discuss them at great lengths with others.
Speaking of Troll Patrick Stewart... isn't he amazing? Thalia's admiration for Troll Patrick Stewart goes beyond any he has for any other actor. He looks up to him like a model of acting perfection-- a god among mere mortals. Of course, while he professes his love in secret, Thalia avoids mentioning this tidbit to his high blood friends since Troll Patrick Stewart is only a yellowblood and that would not be comely of a purpleblood such as himself to admit.
That's okay, since Thalia can share his totally great collection of masks instead! What better way to get into character than wearing a mask for that character? It's absolutely ingenious! Even when out and about, Thalia tends to carry at least three masks on his person at all times. One never knows when he'll need to share his great acting abilities with the world. Thalia needs to be prepared for that big break at any moment. They make for stylish accessories that boast his appearance, as well.
Even with his great acting prowess, Thalia has a hard time acting like a total badass. With Nereidad hunting most of the time, Thalia never really had the chance to work on his own hunting skills. Combat is a great challenge for Thalia, but he carries around his Cretan knife with him anyway. At least he can wave it around and be scary... or something. No, not really, he sucks. It's more of a show piece than an actual weapon, but Thalia claims that it gets the job done. A situation that usually calls for fighting and conflict tilts towards the end of talking things out with Thalia. A silver tongue wins out far more than a sword, as Thalia always says. (He never actually says that. Who would)?
xxxStrengths______
xxxxx(Rico) Suave: Being his little thespian self, Thalia is quite charismatic. He's good at reading people and the situation at hand, knowing what to say at the right time. Not to mention that he's quite charming and knows how to play things up to his advantage.
xxxxxEmpathetic bro: Thalia picks up on the emotions and feelings of others fairly easily and this affects how he's feeling, too. If someone's down? He's gonna be down, too, but try and console the other person. Same goes for if someone's pissed off or really happy. It's not something he controls, it's just the way he is.
xxxxxRoyal as hell: He often secretly wishes that he was a land dweller in order to be accepted as an actor, but uses his purple blood to his advantage. If the situation calls for it, he'll use his status to boss people around, scare them off, or try and win their admiration. You never know when you need that edge.

xxxxxSelf-centered prick: Really, it's all about Thalia! The topic of conversation needs to be about him-- hey, do you see what he's doing? He's really good at acting! Oh, you did that? Well he did it better and more elaborately. Thalia has a strong need to be in the spotlight and in the center of attention. He feeds off the feelings and it makes him feel totes awesome.
xxxxxJudgmental asshat: Despite the want to appeal to the lowbloods, Thalia is quick to form opinions about people. First impressions mean everything, and if that's screwed up? It's hard to fix. He's the sort of guy that believes stereotypes had to have come from somewhere and started in fact. Thalia is so highblooded, he's a darned seadweller! That makes him automatically better and smarter than almost everyone right there.
xxxxxCocky douchebag: He's the best around! Nothing's gonna ever keep him down! Self-assured to the extreme, Thalia thinks knows he's hot s**t. He has the utmost confidence in his acting ability and thus the notion he can accomplish anything. Or, well, at least, BS well enough to fool other people that he's rad.
Appearance__________
Thalia is of average height and build for a troll his age, so nothing out of the ordinary or exciting. The one thing setting him apart being the fins on the sides of his face declaring he's a highblood seadweller. His black hair is slicked back and pulled into a tight and tiny ponytail. (He feels this gives him an artistic douchebag flair). Adorning the top of his head are a pair of medium-sized horns that curve slightly inward then suddenly jut together, much like the top of his symbol. Two fangs poke upward near the corners of his mouth, showing his small bit of an under bite. Above his smug smirk is a Roman type of nose (whatever that means), and Thalia is quite proud of his royal looks. His eyes glimmer and shine with hope, and smolder when he's seri-- no that's dumb, really. The a*****e grin doesn't stop the fact that he looks like a starry-eyed doofus half of the time.
He often wears a plain dark grey cableknit pullover sweater with purple patches (matching his blood color, of course) placed right on the elbows and his symbol emblazoned on his chest. Thinking this is the perfect ensemble, his sweater is accompanied by the tightest black skinny jeans in all of Alternia. Nereidad says they're flattering, after all. No shoes grace his feet, but instead a set of fabulous purple socks cover him up. He doesn't see the sense of shoes since he's often swimming about rather than running around on land. To accessorize, Thalia wears a spectacular gold belt around his waist, thus completing his outfit. However, he can often be seen wearing a huge variety of masks when the mood strikes him.
