Welcome to Art Whores Anonymous, a gathering place for those who's appetite for art cannot be satisfied.

I'm Tidus Guado, and I've been an Art Whore since 2006.
I'm currently in the process of turning a dead guild into an art gallery because I have so much art.

I only has a little more than 100 pieces. Does it still count?
It's easy to collect art when you don't change your avatar or have a character avatar.
I wonder if other art whores suffer the dreadful: 'only receive 30% of commissioned art'.

Hello my name is Shiver` and I am a art whore.

Got a bit less then 300 Shiver` arts, each one is amazing.. cause its me!

I've been addicted to avatar art since I first joined Gaia and have a small collection of art. I probably payed for about 20 art top, the rest have been freebies. heart I have plenty of art displayed in my random signature and and the rest in a art thread I made in the freebie forum.

Art is so much fun to collect and is worth it for me since I don't really change my avatar to much, so art I've gotten 5 years ago is still recognizably me! biggrin

I recently began whoring my way around art shops and freebie speakeasies, so I have only a few pieces of art.
Being addicted to art is another reason I keep a nartian star on my head all the time, because I think It makes me somewhat recognizable in art.

My sister practices her art on me though, so I get a couple sketches and such every now and then heart

An art fairy gifted me some art and told me to rethink the art whore lifestyle, and because it was so very pretty I have been less promiscuous ;p

instead, I get the occasional freebie or a friend draws me something awesome--and I am very much content with life.

I don't trust artists emotion_donotwant

I have bought 2 pieces of art, but commissioned many more that were never delivered. Harrumph.

Buuuuut I've been thinking about buying some pieces from very struggling artists and then way over-paying them for Christmas (liek supporting the artsu or something). I just worry that my overpayment-in-the-spirit-of-generosity might make them misprice their art after that.
