Anime vs. Manga

Just wondering what people thought. I find myself to be more interested in manga, but I do watch some anime.

Maybe it's something about the way it's done. I mean, some art styles don't really animate well, but with anime you get the sound and music that adds another dimension to it.

I liked both for Death Note, but for Air Gear I thought the manga was better, and for Ouran High School Host Club I found the anime more interesting, if short.

I enjoy animated action and details but I hate not being able to learn how to draw from the anime shows.I can't pause them.
So it's an anime vote for me.

For me, it's manga. Usually, the plot is portrayed much better. There are more details, so on. The anime usually comes out second, and some things aren't the same. It's hard to understand as well sometimes. Though we all want to see our favorite characters in action. c:

both are amazing but i watch anime more than manga cause...i really dont know why i hav nothing against reading but i jus tend to watch anime more

I choose manga. A few months back I would have said anime. Mainly because of the ANE anime, which the plot was really different from manga and I disliked it. Also, when I wanna catch up with some good anime, they often take hours and I spend too much time on them. Thus I prefer manga where the drawings are more artistic, where I can catch up on them with just 50 chapters per day, and a better plot.

Definitely both. Some I like better in manga form and others I like better as a anime. Compromise: Read manga while listening to anime background music! rofl rofl rofl

I like both the same, but i do tend to watch more Anime than read the Manga.

I enjoy both! Anime because its good to see the stories animated plus it adds more depth to characters and story in terms of sound, voices and sometimes colouring.
However, I prefer manga in that it has much deeper, detailed stories and so its often more interesting! Plus, there are so many different styles of artwork heart

The only manga version I love more than the anime version is Fruits Basket, probably because it's the only manga I've really read and I love the artwork in the mangaand the funny little sidenotes from the author. xD

i find that 90% of the time the manga is better than the anime
for one, the art
and second, the plot is much more complex and awesome xp
