AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM
Name: Unknown
Nicknames: Johnny Danger
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Faction/Race Demon/Midas
Natural Ability: You've got the touch, you've got the power- and it's not just a saying. Midas demons are gifted with golden hands. Unlike the Midas of legend, they can't turn EVERYTHING they touch into gold- at least, not permanently. Things they are touching or holding, however, temporarily gain a golden veneer. This effect is non-permanent, and illusory.
Personality:
Heart on His Sleeve (Genuine)
Johnny is a quintessential teenager. He's got his heart on his sleeve, and is always honest with his feelings. Sometimes this can be kind of a pain in the a**, as his hormonal ranting is enough to drive even the mildest PR manager insane. But hey, the ghouls love his brooding, angsty image. Johnny is honest, even when it's not always in his best interest. He can be trusted to be true to himself, however convoluted that might be.
They Call Me the Workin' Man (Industrious)
For Johnny, going to work is like turning on a switch. The lights, the glitter, the glam... Something about the stage is soothingly routine to him. He's diligent and hard working when it comes to his trade, regardless of the drama llamaing he does outside of his career as a musician. He's dependable and reliable, a real asset to the company, and if it weren't for his behavior off screen his employers would be loath to see him go on hiatus.
Teenage Wasteland (Weenis)
Johnny can kind of be a whiny tool. Except not just 'kind of'. He's a teenage demon, and he's stuffed full of developing FEAR that just keeps leaking out all over his coworkers. It's getting worse by the day, and the unresolved anger toward his birth mother has only made it worse. Just because he's a rock star and has it ALL doesn't mean he's nearly satisfied. He really can't see the forest through the trees, and it tends to make him pessimistic and unbearable.
Tender Lies (Gullible)
Up till now, Rancid Records has been keeping Johnny in line by telling him what he wants to hear, and fortunately for them, it's working. Johnny isn't much of a thinker. It's not that he's too trusting so much as he's just easily baited. They got him to agree to enroll in the first place with (false) promises that he would be given special treatment. The fact that the school is co-ed probably helped too. It's not just the company that's been leading him by the nose though- his father has too. There's a lot of family secrets and misplaced blame surrounding his tumultuous birth and rise to fame- but so far he hasn't figured it out.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Johnny Danger was getting a little too dangerous. His lack of control over his FEAR was really starting to become a PR issue- and after he accidentally bowled over his manager during a shouting match (an incident that was quickly hushed), his record label demanded he enroll in Halloween's premiere school to learn to control his otherworldly talents.
Johnny isn't too happy about it- after all, his voice is a gift from his less than perfect pedigree and his banshee mother. However, the only way to make this constant reminder less nagging is to do as he's told, and for once the rebel rouser has no choice but to comply.
FEAR:
The Power to Move You
(The Battle Cry)
Johnny doesn't need a microphone. His voice is too powerful. Although he can sometimes be a crooner, this boil can belt it out when he needs to, with enough force to knock things over. At the moment, he's not TOO much of a danger to a crowd- especially if you like the windblown hair look. However, if nurtured, this talent could easily be turned into a weapon.
This powerful voice is part of the reason he's so successful, and also why Rancid Records picked him up in the first place. They're hoping some schooling will allow them to continue to make returns on their investment- as long as he doesn't reveal to the general public what a complete brat he really is.
