One of my friends has these really cool dreadlocks that go, like, past her waist. I know of r a fact that they get easier to deal with as time goes on- you might want to have a friend help you with them at the start. As I recall there was some sort of waxy stuff she put in to hold them together.

The thing with dreads is, you can't really take them out. As in, you have to cut ll your hair off if you want a different style. This girl has kept hers for years and years.

Oh, and also, it does make for a lot of hair, since she's never cut them for fear of ruining the little sproingy-things at the ends..

I heard its really hard to take out wax so I'm gonna try to hold off from using wax on my hairr
I wonder how long her hair is if she took the dreads out haha, I bet it would be touching the ground

My brother has dreadlocks and I twist his hair for him. TBH dreadlocks usually look horrible on people who have non-kinky natural hair, however it looks nice in the pics you posted so hopefully it'll look nice on you:]

Ooo, the pictures look really cute. Are you also going to keep the front non-dredlocked? I've never seen dreadlocks that were that thin, usually I see them on metal heads and they're really thick, but the thin ones are cute.
You have to post picture when they get longer.

An Asian girl I went to university with got dreads in 2nd year. She rocked them, to be honest. She was a funky person to begin with, and it works for her.

Or you can get Dreadfalls it's easier instead of doing it to your hair and then when you decide you don't want it it takes a long time to take it down without shaving your hair, that's what I do whenever I want to have the dreadlocks look

I honestly don't like dreadlocks. They look nice on some, but on others it makes them look like filthy hobos. o_o BUT in those pictures, they look so well kept and lovely. ^_^ If you wear it like they do it might look nice.

I personally would never get dreadlocks for myself. Regrowing my hair to its previous length is enough for me. x)
However, I deeply admire anyone who knows how to maintain their dreads and keep them looking funky freshhhh. ♪

I hope your attempt turns out better.

Dreadlocks look really cool sometimes. Though after seeing one cut off- full of dust and other dirt (cause apparently you shouldn't wash them too often) I am not so fond of them. Though I suspect the girl who showed me that was rather dirty person in general. >.<
