How do you guys feel about the semi-common theme of bondage and discipline in slash and Femslash? Are you into it, not so much, or could you take or leave it?
Any particular um... kink you like reading about? Find the whole thing inappropriate and wrong?
Any characters you just can't read about or picture in the BDSM setting be it full blown whips and chains or simple tying to the bedpost with a scarf?
Let's discuss!

It totally depends on the couple being involved.
Basically anything with Bella ONLY makes sense if there is at least a LITTLE bondage.

Bellatrix just loves tying up underage people and disciplining them! ... Now I wanna read a BDSM fic with her and one of the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff girls from Harry's generation.
My GOD am I sick of Harry in fic. Sick to death, I tell you.

Well I'm working on a BellaSiri fic where Bella does bad bad things to Sirius and Regulus.

Bellatrix, obviously, really any Death Eater, it's about natural.
But I'm prone to Snape/Harry.
I actually know a few "life-stylers" IRL, not only does BDSM belong in the bedroom, but the idea of a dominant and submissive goes into their every day activities. The "submissive"s describe it as a way to always have stability. Their opinions are valued, and their needs are taken care of and their allowed to speak up and have their life, but when it comes to hard stuff, some one else is there to take care of them and make the decisions that they can't handle, and essentially they have some one to guide them. The "dominant"s explain that by having that control over some one else, they feel they have better control over their lives.
So I don't really see anybody from the Harry Potter series going into life style mode particularly, but I like to see it occasionally especially for Harry and Snape as a way for them to release themselves. And while I prefer Snape as the dominant, the stories that make him submissive to Harry that are really well written always make me sappy.
Also, I like post-Azkaban BDSM Sirius/Remus in both ways. Remus feeling like he needs to be punished for not believing in Sirius, Sirius needing control, or opposite, Remus needing to control his otherwise hectic life and let that Alpha Werewolf out, and Sirius needing some one else to take care of him and his fragile mindset through punishment and guidance.
Ren: does she make them do naughty things to each other as well?
