Mot's fighting skills had always been average, but as time wore on he always felt left behind. He hates having to fight, seek conflict, and despises throwing himself into situations where war and battle are sure to meet him. Even as his close friends run blindly into bad situations, he'd always felt like he could do nothing for them because he was weak.
Thanks to Seven Kings, and seeing his other self in the role of a healer, Mot now has a new goal. He wants to help those who possess the courage to fight. While he himself is unwilling to use his gun to fight, he wants to be there for his friends and allies who have a passion and reason to fight. So far he has taken First and Second stage First Aid in Cricket's open class, and has some minor healing abilities thanks to it. His Fear attacks lack any healing ability, and serve only to destroy, which is useless to a reaper who doesn't want to fight.

He does enjoy spars, as they are a friendly means of gaining strength and honing reflexes.
For his first two years, he was a stick figure in body; thin, gangly limbs with no muscle. He is tall but not entirely intimidating due to his friendly and open nature. However, thanks to the encouragement of Hel and Gene, Mot has been training his body every day in solitary workouts. He is still not buff like he wished he was, since he is naturally thin in build, but he is beginning to flesh out and look healthier to those who know him well.
His third year had been bumpy, as was his second year, when it concerns his self confidence and self worth. Again, through the help of encouragement through Hel's constant attempts to slap him out of his wallowing, he has begun to see his potential. Mot's slowly growing up, and becoming the upstanding gentlemen he'd always imagined he was. This may also be due to the fact he hasn't participated in Metas lately, keeping him out of harm's way emotionally. He's had time to heal and reflect without the bombardment of heartache large events often took on him.
Mot has a tendency to wallow when he is upset. He dwells and sulks for weeks on end. It takes him a long to heal his mind, but he does face his feelings openly and doesn't hide them from himself and close friends. If he's feeling down, he often seeks council to try and find a solution to his woes. Oftentimes he looks to Hel, who is blunt and forces him to confront what he doesn't always want to see. If he isn't ready for that kind of confrontation, and just wants a pat on the head and a hug, he'll go to Lizzy or Gene.
His sense of justice sometimes/often has him clashing with hardcore people like Hel or Shun, who take drastic measures to seek their own justice. While he is normally laid back, some issues make him passionately stubborn to the point a full on verbal fight will break out. This is actually a large reason why Hel and him broke up, due to the huge gap in values they held.
