Horror movie facts are perhaps the most long lasting movie genre (starting in 1896). I know that some of them are nt worth seing , because my idea of terror is not opening up a dozen bottles of ketchup, pooring them over 15 people and make them run around for 2 hours. Im going to have horror movie weekend marathon, and i would really like to know what you guys think the best horror films are.

Ju-On is one of my favorite scary movies, and the Ring was pretty awesome too. I don't care much for gorefests, unless they're scary as well as gruesome.

One Missed Call (the original Japanese ver not the crappy Americanized one), Pet Cemetary, Pet Shop of Horrors (lol yes I think of it as a horror movie), Red Dragon, Exorcist, 9th Gate, Army of Darkness, I know there are others but those are the ones on the top of my head.

Paranormal Activity. That movie scared me and horror doesn't scare me.
The original Night of the Living Dead. Classic.
I Drink Your Blood is a good cheesy one, if you're into that kind of thing. It's kinda disturbing and fun. btw, it's not about what you think it is. XD No vampires.
The remake of The Wizard of Gore is a good one with Crispin Glover. He was in one of the Friday the 13th films when he was much younger. Don't let the name fool you. Yes it is rather gorey, but the plot is pretty good and trippy. Might take a couple watches to sink in.
Identity is a good one, if you like surpirse endings.
Oh and if you want Steven King try 1408. Great movie with John Cusack, who was also in Identity.

Razzdango Shaun of the dead, Zombieland, Dawn of the dead, Evil dead, Gremlins lol Lol those aren't scary movies. XD There isn't an option in your poll that applies to me. xp It's the psychological thrillers that scare me more than any monster movie and gore-fests are just gross, not scary.

I often prefer the supernatural and psychological stuff. Of course these days it often means me watching the European stuff. Three of my favorites are Pan's Labyrinth (kinda treads the line between fantasy and horror,) Let The Right One In, and The Devil's Backbone (which inspired Pan's Labyrinth.)
