The room might look like this if there were not so much crap in it.
Apparently Barth has also been using his room as a garage.
(is that half of a slapchop in the corner?? and what does this remote do?)

Still, there is an enormous HD skellyvision set for playing videogames on.
The fountain in the background cycles an endless stream of purple goo.

The couch in the corner looks very comfy. There is a small chalkboard
nailed to the wall above it. Chalk dangles from a conveniently-located
string. The board reads NAP TALLY with a number of tally marks
underneath, for guests to keep track of naps at their convenience.

(skellyphone #s - alphabetical)

CLASSMATES

Calder - Fiance in an officialish capacity. Calder is a loyal friend, good cook, and self-read expert in romance. Physical attraction is a large factor between them, but Calder's willingness to deal with Barth's laziness is a plus. They share a house, and two Scarelings.
Zar - Fiance in an officialish capacity. Cantankerous, hissy, and extremely tsundere. Their relationships is a power struggle with benefits. Both of them avoid talking about Feelings, but are loyal to each other (in their own way). They share a house, and two Scarelings. (Marked)
Superbia - Barth, Calder, and Zar's son (and the Heir to Zar's family line). A multi-eyed chicken with a fascination for science and a resistance to most chemicals. Pride Demon.
Tula - Barth, Calder, and Zar's son. A clingy spider who loves his twin, family, and putting things in his web. Thinks of everything as "mine". Greed Demon.

Christof - Igor, BFF, and partner in scientific endeavors, he keeps Barth from being a total wreck and makes sure Things get Done. Barth gets jealous/unpleasant when competing over Christof's demonic loyalties. He had hoped to make their relationship long-term, but the Igor's fear of his current Master has kept him at Amity. (Marked)

Lilith - Ex-ghoulfriend who he is very seriously not-dating. Barth had a sort of helpless fascination with her, before she shut herself in a dorm room with a horde full of follyjox. May or may not be tied up in demon-familiar issues. May or may not have been crushed to death by the weight of said follyjox horde.

Riley - His old school rival, neighbor, and arch-nemesis. They are usually (outwardly) civil to each other. Somewhere, deep down, Barth respects her skill and ruthlessness, but often irresistibly found himself at odds with her. Especially over Christof.
Jericho - Civil. Loyalties are to Riley, obviously, but Barth doesn't think he's too bad.. Jericho crashed in Barth's room for two weeks, and Barth has been friendly towards him since then.
Malodore - Professional. Barth respects him as a scientist, and would be interested in further technological/biological experiments.

Siddie - Ex-Fiance. Their engagement was arranged (and a little complicated). Barth is fond of Siddie and certainly doesn't want to see her working minimum wage somewhere. From the same social class, he sympathizes with her family situation. The engagement suited both of them. Siddie vowed to give Barth a Favor for the service, which he obliged.
Sammy - Siddie's ghoulfriend, often finds herself wanting to punch Barth in the face. Barth has spent a lot of time trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

Colette - Serious, professional, competent, and good with a pair of swords. Barth finds the combination very attractive, and tries to stick close to her in survival situations.
Mandy - A friend since early in the Krumm days, and a NAPping compatriot. As vicious and ready to fight as she is cuddly. Not a good cook, but anything is better than Barth's attempts in the kitchen.
Alwine - Another Krummer, and Mandy's ghoulfriend. Had a long absence from school due to family. Head jokes with her are unavoidable.
Rain - The last Student Council President, who put an emphasis on playing games and having fun. Extremely loyal. Barth admires her.
West - One of the few demons Barth honestly likes. Relies on him in tight situations, and by extension, also one of the few people Barth is willing to go the extra proverbial mile for.

PROFESSORS

Hellma - Barth is absolutely terrified of her.
Red - The late gym teacher. Not Barth's favorite class, due to species-related difficulties. He and Christof were studying her 'remains', before she returned from the dead.
Malcolm - The Captain of the ship Barth was assigned to during the island trip, and Barth's favorite Professor. He went to Malcolm for advice on his thorns, and trusts him more than any adult.

FAMILY

Claire - Gluttony Demon. One of his many half-sisters, but ostensibly his favorite, and the only one attending Amityville. Like his father, not the brightest demon. Unlike his father, not horrible. Barth is protective of her and relies on her for important favors. Their tastes are often similar, which he finds annoying.
Ardenter - Father. A Gluttony Demon. A businessman and food critic critic, who lives a lavish and indulgent lifestyle with plenty of spouses, artwork, and clothes. More crude than clever, but with a lot of power and the know how to throw it around. He is vicious and unpleasant, and has a habit of eating more than food critics.
Babs - Mother. A Slime Elemental Demon, and one of his Father's many spouses. Barth gets his last name, Mudd, from her. She is, at her heart, a floozy, and not very good with demonic intrigue or much besides having a good time and being on someone's arm. She is not financially reliant on Ardenter, coming from a fairly wealthy Earth Elemental line, and can usually be seen with one of her new boilfriends. She fusses over Barth relentlessly. Barth finds her embarrassing.
Grimhold - One of the family carraige drivers. In debt up to his neck to Ardenter, Barth suggested he offer his services as a chaffeur instead of as an entree. The suggestion came at a price, and when Barth needs transporting, Grimhold's the one to do it. (Marked)
Samuel - Grandfather. A Greed Demon, Ardenter's Father. Lives like a pauper in a thin and awful house, but owns a vast fortune from murdering most of his immediate relatives. In contrast to Ardenter, is sharply intelligent.
Mafune - Samuel's husband, a kitsune. He dresses in silks, is extremely polite and courteous, and is usually smiling. Around him silverware/objects/important things often go missing.
Rasputher - Barth's Great Uncle, and Samuel's brother. A gloomy sloth demon whose domain is despair, he writes bad poems and obsesses over doomed love. He and Barth are identical.
?? (Samuel's father) gluttony demon, ran the family fortune into the ground with mismanagement until his death.
Isander - Ardenter's first born, the Heir and Barth's half-brother. A Lust demon. His other three parents are faeries. He is pale, dusty, beautiful (like a drug). He thematically has injecty bits. He is cruel and fickle.
??? he has a name but I need to dig to find it (sloth demon) - half-brother, opposite of Barth is very enthusiastic, energetic, industrious, and hard to get rid of. In fact, he's so busy doing everything for you that it's hard to get anything done yourself. In fact, why bother...

Glop seems dense, and that open-mouthed stare
doesn't help, but with other pets it is polite and articulate.
It does things very slowly, and tries to digest anything left

Handsome was found by Christof lurking around a
graveyard. He is floppy, sweet, inactive, and despondent. Barth finds the
hound to be very charming. He is Barth's only living pet.
Has the uncanny ability to sense disaster, and avoid it.

He has a special fondness for pets that are gooey, sticky, or otherwise mucky. They seem to...stick around longer than the other pets. They live primarily around the slime fountain, and in various piles around Barth's room. He also owns a variety of thorny potted plants, although why they continue to thrive is any one's guess.

--Creature Feature 101--

Quote:

It's not that Barth didn't like pets.

Somewhere in his black, wiggly soul he liked having them. He had a long history of pet ownership, and a wake of starved, neglected, lost (for the smart ones) and otherwise dead results. In light of his personal experience, he didn't think Creature Feature 101 could be very hard. You just...owned a pet, and sort of let it run around until it disappeared or came back to angrily haunt you.

He wasn't expecting the maze, though.

CLASS C
1. The Acorn of Zeus: A seed from the tree symbolic to the God Zeus, it glows with a green yellow light, a small thunderbolt like crack running down the side.

Battle Effect: When thrown, the acorn shatters, creating a small paralyzing electric field that nullifies one target at the sacrifice of the user's own turn. Targets must be stated at the time of it’s use, and using the acorn counts as a turn in battle.

CLASS C
12. The rose of Aphrodite: A rose that changes color in the light, it never wilts and it’s petals, color change included can be removed. They simply regrow as they are removed.

Effect: Placing them rose or petal on a person makes them appear unnaturally beautiful to all who see them, yet the person will not feel attracted to anyone and will feel a need to spurn all advances. Last 24 hours.

CLASS A

Rasputin Graves: A human who was often beset by disaster, he chose to be reincarnated as something...more, for another chance at life.

Artifact

Abilities + Cost:
[ Ability Absorb ] You may absorb and copy the NATURAL ability of someone of the same year or LESS than you. You can then use this ability for 5 minutes. (2 points)

[ Mindreader ] You will be able to read another person's last thought. When rping this ability, make sure you have OOC PERMISSION from the other rper before using this! If you do not, then this ability is nullified OR their thought is pretty much "they were thinking of blinking". (5 points)

[ SUMMON ARTIFACT - CREATURE FORM ] You may summon your artifact into creature form. It takes on an ethereal appearance equal to the "core" of your student. It can vary anywhere from 1- 10 feet. In creature form, the artifact will obey most given commands with relative intelligence. As it is ethereal, it's physical power is actually rather weak. It is good for scouting/flying above/doing errands/etc. This lasts for 30 minutes. (5 points)

[ TALKING TO YOUR ARTIFACT ] If you wish to TALK to your artifact, it ALWAYS costs 1 charge point for them to reply.

Invoked Form:
[ ENERGY AURA - Invoked form ]: Their attacks turn into strikes of energy equal to the colour of their core. This lasts three turns from when you activate your Invoked form.

[ BATTLE ABILITY - INVOKED FORM ]: This temporarily takes the place of one of your Fear abilities. Select ANY attack or Fear your student has done in any previous RP during the current charging period of the artifact. A "charging period" is the time between using your artifact's Invoked form. After selecting an attack or Fear, you may repeat that exact attack, exact damage, and the exact effect to reuse without having to reroll. (10 points)

BATTLE (INVOKED) APPEARANCE: A garden of heavy, opiate poppies and strange, sleepy flowers that grow around Barth's feet and invade his clothing/lapels/horns/hair.. The air swirls with pollen. A large black snake is coiled around Barth's shoulders. It floats/flies instead of crawls, like the air was water. Barth and the serpent have matching glowing eyes. Glowing "crack" marks spread from Barth's tongue around the jewel.

Point Tally:

Beginner Summoned Object
Difficulty level: Beginner
Pre-requisites: N/A
Battle Effect: Once per battle, you may choose to use your Crafts skill to summon a small craft-and-paper created guardian. Roll a six-sided dice. If odd, the guardian will defend you for two damage for the next three turns. If even, it does nothing. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack.
Non-battle Effect: You can create and summon a small craft-and-paper created guardian from any piece of paper/napkin/ etc. It doesn't do much but float around, and it's a little less entertaining than a minipet...

Quote:

Beginner Trashbot Summon:
Difficulty level: Beginner
Pre-requisites: N/A
Battle Effect: A character can summon their pocket-sized Trashbot to aid them in battle, the Trahsbot acting like a small clockwork explosive. Roll a 4-sided dice. This is the damage you do the opponent. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack.
Non-battle Effect: A character can icly create a pocket-sized Trashbot to help them pick up things/ clean their room/ do very minor Trashbot-like things. They can only create one at a time.

Quote:

Intermediate Trashbot Summon:
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Pre-requisites: Beginner Trashbot Summon
Battle Effect: A character can summon their minipet-sized Trashbot to aid them in battle, the Trahsbot acting like a small clockwork explosive. Roll a 4-sided dice. This is the damage you do the opponent. You can summon one on top of your normal turn without penalty. This can only be used once per battle.
Non-battle Effect: A character can icly create a minipet-sized Trashbot to help them pick up things/ clean their room/ do very minor Trashbot-like things. They can only create one at a time. It can also do minor things like speak very rudimentary words and also sometimes do your homework.

Quote:

Beginner Speed Boost
Difficulty level: Beginner
Pre-requisites: N/A
Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 4-sided dice. Their accuracy is raised +1 for the next rolled amount of turns. For example, if I state this used effect and roll a 4, for the next 4 turns, my damage calculated is now -5 instead of -6. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack.
Non-battle Effect: A character can obtain a small speed boost/ speed surge to seemingly "teleport" a foot, but it can only be used once without them getting super tired.

Quote:

Beginner Lucky Chance
Difficulty level: Beginner
Pre-requisites: N/A
Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 6-sided dice. If odd, they do the damage to themselves, if even, they do the damage to their opponent. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack.
Non-battle Effect: A character acquires the ability to scavenge around for more useful items around Amityville to sell for $$$

Quote:
Battle Effect: N/A
Non-battle Effect: Your character can temporarily alter their appearance to look like anyone they have traded student pins with (as long as they are wearing the pin). This only lasts 5 minutes for Y1, 10 for Y2, and 30 for Y3. This is an illusion and is broken if they are attacked. They still sound like themselves though okay, it isn't that advanced. The illusion appearance is only of their student form and not their natural form.

Information

For every 'favor' a demon does for you, if he gets you to shake on it, a mark of that particular demon will show up on your body until the debt is repaid. If a demon asks you to do a favor for them with one of these marks on you, you HAVE to fulfill your debt, even if the favor seems greater/more dangerous than what you received from the demon.
