Seriously...with the most recent changes to the banlist it seems like the game has opened up room for more competitive innovation than any list has in years.
Sure, Scraps, Sabers, and Synchrons are going to top the meta this set, but the sheer amount of viable, competitive is amazing.
Does anybody else agree? disagree? Comments?

Five bucks states that Six Sams will T0 by the time STOR is released.
However, I'm somewhat content with the meta as well as with the release of some recent promos from Duel Transer paving the way for Beast decks and hopefully, in the near future, Heralds will see some legitimate play as well.
But then again, I'm merely a casual player, perfectly happy in my casual world.

it was until gravekeeper's stomped all over everything with their necrovalley, not that i'm upset about that, i play gravekeeper's. i just wish their was a good side card for mirror matches. everything i can think of will hurt me too.
and in february, six sams will stomp over everything with their new OTK prowess.

brotherofAnubus perfection is overrated stressed that reminds me of my favorite Bleach quote despite it being long.... "There is nothing in this world that is truly "perfect". Though it may be a rather large cliché, it is still the truth. It is the ordinary people who look up to "perfection" as an ideal and seek after it. But in truth, what is this idea of "perfection" truly worth? Nothing. Not a single thing. I detest "perfection". To be "perfect" is to be unable to improve any further. There would be no scope for "creation", not a single gap in one's knowledge or one's ability. Do you see now? To true scientists like you and I, "Perfection" is tantamount to "despair". We aspire to reach greater levels of brilliance than ever before, but never, NEVER, to reach perfection. That is the paradox through which we scientists must struggle. Indeed, it is our duty to find pleasure in that struggle. In other words, the second you allowed yourself to spout a ridiculous word like "perfect", in truth, you had already been defeated. That is if you wish to be treated as a scientist." -Mayuri Kurotsuchi i SPIT on perfection....

I think that machina is still in the area of top tier 8-16. But that's just me on how smooth my deck goes. biggrin
Six samurai, naturia, scraps, synchrons, and sabers are gonna be topping in most of the regionals, SJC, ETC.

I've honestly never had problems dealing with Gravekeepers. Maybe there aren't that many good players in my district but my win:loss ratio is pretty consistent (something like 7:2). But yeah, Flamvells are pretty good for it (synchro into formula synchron and tune for Black Rose Dragon on their turn) Now six sams, I agree, will stomp on the meta. Right now, though, I would have to say it's a pretty balanced meta. Mainly, I dread the release of SoR at the moment. Though, not going to lie Cluster Pendulum and Yaksha look pretty good. Mist Valley Divine Wind makes my favorite archtype much more playable while Doppel Warrior shows promise in Quickdraw varients. Who knows, maybe something will surprise us.
