[ I was so excited today when I walked into the locker room and saw a girl w/ a MCR shirt. The black one, w/ the heart and gun that says "Fire at will"...well, last time I had seen one of those shirts was at the Twisted Xmas concert, so I asked her if she got it there. Apparently, she didn't even know who MCR were, she just thought the shirt looked cool. gonk ]
[I was so disappointed.]
[Discussion:Which merch. is your favorite? Do some people you know PRETEND to like MCR? Do you think buying band shirts is getting out-of-hand trendy?(because the girl in the locker room got the shirt for the soul reason it was a band shirt.)]

Blasphemy! I don't understand how someone can wear a shirt and not even listen to the band mentioned on it. It makes no sense whatsoever.
I had a similar encounter with a girl wearing a Ziggy Stardust t-shirt. I asked her, "Do you like David Bowie's new album?" She just gave me the weirdest look and I had to explain to her that Ziggy Stardust was David Bowie's alter ego. She just laughed and said that she just liked the picture on the shirt. Argh.

Remote Control Blasphemy! I don't understand how someone can wear a shirt and not even listen to the band mentioned on it. It makes no sense whatsoever. I know a lot of people who, "pretend" to like MCR... mostly because I like them. Doesn't it make you mad when people pretend to like them, just because of you... I'd rather them tell me that they suck.

That's rediculous, not to mention insulting gonk . She should be locked away in MCR hell forever. How dare she!? I don't know anyone who pretends or does that, and if I did, I'd act a fool and slap up that hoe xd . My favorite merch. I'd have to say is their red shirt (that I happen to own) that says "I don't need your friends, I've got my own" with bullets on it. Yup. I love it. I also own the CD cover t-shirt. ^_^

This reminds me of today at school. It was Band Day and you were supposed to wear band T-shirts. I saw two girls with the "Revenge" and the "Give Em Hell Kid" shirts on and thought, I wonder if they actually like the band or they are wearing them just cuz it's Band Day. I also saw this other girl wearing an Evanescence shirt, and was like, there is NO way she actually likes them, which made me mad cuz I mean, why not actually wear a shirt of a band you actually like?
