yes yes yes, its sooooo common for girls to fall for their best friends who are guys, but im so not the type to do that. i've known my crush for three years, and we're best friends. On top of that, we have a million mutual friends, and we are always hanging out. we share pretty much everything with each other, and live kinda close so we know people that other people at our school dont know (we go to a private school so kids are from all over the state).
anyways, i started to get a crush on him five months ago and i still have that feeling for him. I think he used to have a crush on me because three months ago a friend of ours had a party where we watched a scary movie, so he put his arm around me (he NEVER does that to girls hes just friends with) and after the party he told me to text him (he never texts ppl) and said i should come over to his house some time (again, something he never does). over the summer we lost touch, though.
well our band recently had a band trip and we were flirting nonstop, but one of my guy friends told me that he knew i liked him. when i asked my friend to ask if my crush liked me, my crush said that he only liked me as a friend, and that he said it was awkward that i like him.
this changed nothing in our relationship, though. Normally, guys and girls lose touch and act differently when they find out one likes the other, but im still just as close with my friend, maybe even closer. We still flirt, and i really dont know how to feel about him. I like him a LOT, but if he just wants to be friends, i dont want to push him into something he doesnt want to do. What should i do?
