Ok the first round was a bust, I made some boo-boo's.
I'm going to try to be as healthy as possible, so if you see me goof please tell me for I am a noob at this.

I am...
Age: 17
Height: 5 Foot 4 Inches
Current weight: 150 Pounds 145 Pounds

I eat...
1,529 Calories a day.

GOAL weight: 120 Pounds

If I feel overly tired or sore I'll add 100 calories and see how I feel after a few days.

Oh I should add, don't feel like you have to eat exactly 1,529 calories. If you just stay between 1500 and 1600 you ought to be fine. I know I get far too obsessive if I have an exact number of calories I try to follow. It's best not to take numbers like that too terribly seriously. 3nodding

You can do it! And also remember, you may not look the way you expect when you reach your goal, because your body shape may be different than you thought or other various things, but don't let it get you down. And also, losing weight and seeing changes on your body can be exciting, but it can also be confusing and uncomfortable because you aren't used to seeing yourself look different that way. So also work on positive thoughts and affirmations, and remember to love your body and care for it because it's what keeps you alive! heart

Oh my! Well that should go away soon enough. You only have like 30 lbs to lose right? I lost twenty lbs, I started losing weight off and on in march or april I think. And for a while I was having disordered eating problems [I stopped eating hardly anything for about three months] and during that time I didn't really lose any more than maybe 5 lbs.

i also stopped eating for a while, & it royally screwed with my metabolism. confused i'm hoping i can get it back on track!

hey TB, if you want a good book on weightloss i'd suggesting buying(or just reading) You: On A Diet by Dr. Oz & Dr. Roizen. it talks about how your body turns your food into energy(or fat), what hormones can work in your favor to lose weight, why you have cravings, etc. plus, there are some great recipes & a healthy shopping list to give you an idea of the types of things you should be eating. it's a bit long, but a great read. one of my personal favorites 4laugh

good luck sweetheart! if you have any questions, feel free to ask us!

Alright, My mom gave me a lecture on how to eat right.
We went to Wal-Mart and I got some food.
I got a lot of the Morning star brand stuff, it's full of protein and iron but it's not meat.
I got whole grain cereal, pastas, breads.
I got Light soy milk.
Lean Cuisine TV Dinners, I'm a lazy cook.
More Tea. =)
Granola.
Vitamins to support my metabolism, and hair and nails.
I got yogurt.
And more water bottles.

i'm glad you're on the right track! if you need additional iron, spinach has a lot & it's great with eggs, egg whites, or even scrambled tofu, with a bit of salsa or hot sauce. it's one of my favorite vegetables mrgreen

& if you need additonal calories, serving sizes of raw or dry roasted nuts are high calorie, but highly nutritional snacks!
