 Everyone seems to see this as a game breaking card, yet all it does is mill a card then either special summon itself, "Gallis the Star Beast" not the milled monster, or destroy itself. You can only use its effect once as it either moves to the field or gets destroyed and if you mill a spell or trap that's a possibly good card you've lost plus you've discarded a card to lose it. Edit: I have now seen the combo but drawing the cards needed seems too difficult in such a deck.

Genex Ally Birdman is a cost.
Kaoki Meiru Doom will negate the effect.
Loop Gallis = FTK/OTK
Gallis in a deck with 44 monsters = awesome.
Especially with Witch of the Black Rose, the, summon, draw, lv4 tuner. Special summon Gallis this, lv8 for one card.
Right, terrible.

Okay, I see it but it still seems too hard to pull off, especially in a deck full of monsters.

In fairness, the original reason I saw this card as broken as it was was because I THOUGHT it read in such a way that it special summoned the milled monster, not Gallis. Now that I see that... it's not THAT special, but still deserving of a restriction.

Now that I see that... it's not THAT special, but still deserving of a restriction. Okay, I don't want to offend anybody, but I don't see how anyone could misinterpret it's effect. Unless the picture above is a re-print , the effect is as clear as day.

Because I typically read card effects when I'm more than half-tired. It's rather easy to read the word "this" as the word "that" when you're tired, especially if it fits in the same context and several people want to see it restricted or banned in some fashion.

I understand, but it wasn't entirely aimed at you, but more to the possible n00bs that will undoubtedly post here saying it should be banned when they miss read it.
