-3 Shining Angel (Nova Summoner serves this card's purpose, giving it enough search power).
+2 Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin (In my opinion, most if not all Fairy-themed decks that run Airknight Parshath SHOULD be running Neo-Parshath.)
+1 Harvest Angel of Wisdom (If you're going the Counter Fairies Route, this is a very decent card.)

-1 Layard the Liberator (I don't really like this card due to how infrequently you should have fairies removed from play. Also, it's quite fragile, which would ruin quite a bit if it got destroyed, being a one-of and all.)
+1 Athena, The Splendid Venus, OR Tethys, Goddess of Light (Athena is fantastic for revival, Venus is fantastic support and negation prevention, and Tethys is fantastic draw support.)

-2 The Fountain in the Sky (This card's effect is not worth its price.)
+2 Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen (No monsters on your field? This card lets you summon just about any Fairy-type monster in the game for free.)

-1 Terraforming (Kinda pointless, because...)
+1 The Sanctuary in the Sky (...it'd be smarter to run 3 Sanctuary in the Sky instead of 2 Sanctuary and 1 Terraforming.)

-1 Lightning Vortex (You only ever really need 1 Lightning Vortex in a deck.)
+1 Brain Control (A very useful card that typically goes hand-in-hand with most decks.)

-2 Drastic Drop off (This card forces you to discard to make your opponent discard. It's not really that great.)
-2 Seven Tools of the Bandit (Dark Bribe, it takes care of this card's duties.)
+1 Dark Bribe (Amazing card, doubly so in your deck. Should be at 3 at all times.)
+2 Negate Attack (In counter fairies, this card is a godsend. Always run multiples.)
+1 Torrential Tribute (It's not a counter trap, but it's useful nonetheless, especially in conjunction with Valhalla.)

-2 Magic Drain (Dark Bribe takes care of Magic Drain.)
+2 Divine Wrath (Takes care of what Dark Bribe can't.)

Those are the basic suggestions I can make for you.

very nice suggestions i kinda like these. only one im iffy about. for the most part the way i want to run this i wont need fairys in my grave so fountain just keeps my ife up and with neo would give him a godly boost in some cases and also because of this shining angel has a purpose again which is to seach nova and give me 1400 lp in the process. and drastic is soso just because it slows your opponent down a bit and if i have bountiful artimus out gives me a card so i become to hand sizes ahead at that point. but yeah like the suggestions thanks very much ^^

Too much of the deck is pointless, just follow Hakuro's suggestions.

In any case, all of those suggestions I made should make for a decent universal Fairy deck.

If, however, you wish to go a different route, say make the deck more centered around Counter Traps or around Neo Parshath / Life Gain... I can give you more suggestions either way. But this is as good as your deck will possibly get until you pick a specialization for your deck to follow.

Also, one thing that slipped my mind that armycat jockamoe reminded me of. Find space in your deck for Archlord Kristya, probably as the replacement for Layard the Liberator. It's an incredible card that has a hard time dying.

Want to try Burial From A Different Dimension?
It recycles your removed from play cards from Fountain in the Sky.
Kind of risky though, and you can try throwing in Venus & some Valhallas. If you want to get them out quicker, try some Hecatrices.

noticed another counter trap in the next pack duelist revolution called divine warning. sounds like a gud thing to add but at 1 or 2?
PostPosted: Mon Jun 21, 2010 1:20 am

If you're planning to go with a Life Gain deck of sorts (which can be spliced with Neo Parshath with minimal issues), then I don't see why not. Otherwise, seeing as it's 1/4 of your starting LP... it's pretty steep and is only cheaper than Solemn Judgment up until your LP crosses a certain threshold.

If you want good control, a fair idea would be using Bottomless Trap Hole. It's at 2 per deck, but you should run 2. It's also not a counter trap, so that's a decision you'll need to make. More counter traps to chain off of with other cards or more adaptability?
