So my friend has a nooby Obelisk deck.
I call it nooby because, he dosn't have the right cards for it, but when he summons Obelisk It's kinda game over.
So what cards can destroy him.
Edit: So I google this and they said a card that dosn't TARGET what does that mean? So does Creature swap work?

Any card that directly targets Obelisk is useless... you need to find cards that don't designate Obelisk as a target (i.e. cards that don't say "Select 1 of your opponent's monsters...")

Mirror force
Torrential T.
Threatning R.
Will work.
But not Solemn and Etc..

Lazon Kaiser Oh so I am guessing Skill drain Zombie world Lighting Vortex Mirror force Torrential T. Threatning R. Will work. But not Solemn and Etc.. Solemn never target, nor does Fissure or Smashing Ground.

That would be my guess, but just to be safe, I would check the official rulings on those cards... And honestly, I haven't looked at the usable Obelisk card, so I don't know if it even follows the "god rules"...

Solemn won't work as it clearly states in Obelisks effect "The summoning of this card can't be negated".

obelisk is easy to destroy. also, dont be fooled, your opponant can't use mausoleum of the emporer to summon obelisk (or any card that states it needs a certain amount of monsters as tribute).

You don't use Mausoleum, you make Hardened Armed Dragon one of the tributes.

On top of that, you ask for advice to deal with Obelisk directly... No.
You clear the fodder. Zombie World, acceptable varying on your own deck depending on a tribute summon, but you shouldn't let your opponent get the count on the field to summon it in the first place.
If you're giving your opponent four turns for three monsters and then a tribute... How can I say, you're just slow on the up-take.
