Yeah, that makes sense.
I doubt Red-Eyes could become competitive without incorporating Syncros or any of that Meta-game bullshit. But, I honestly don't care about that. confused

The main thing i'm trying to get ahold of is Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, but until then I have to make due with what I have.

White Knight kinda takes away from the Red-Eyes theme. >_>

He gave you a Disaster Build.

Frankly, Drago isn't as good in this format as he used to be. Side material at best. With triple Book of Moon, Smashing, and other simple one-for-one resources running around, a Drago can be shut down easily...I'm not making him a focus in my variant of Disaster, but I digress.

Red-Eyes being played without Darkness Metal is a bit of a counterproductive effort, and choosing to not max out on Wyvern's is an even stranger play. Choosing to build the deck around the option of summoning Black Skull Dragon is also a no no, especially in a competitive field. However, if you were to incorporate Dark Hex Sealed Fusions and Divine Dragon Ragnorok to give you the option of both B. Skull and King Dragun, you can give yourself good field presence, as well as have a 3200 beater that you can recycle with Darkness Metal.

Totem Dragon is a must, especially if you want to focus on the older Red-Eyes incarnates. If so, I highly recommend looking into getting Card of Consonance, a set of Flamvell Guard, and a pair of Debris Dragon. Debris has great synergy with both Totem, Masked and Guard, as it can set up multiple level Synchro's. Also, Guard allows you to Synchro with original Red-Eyes into a quick Stardust or other eight-star option.

You can live without Darkness and Chick, their effects are lackluster with Wyvern available, and the extra boost isn't worth running him.

Mirage Dragon is so-so. Although it can stop Mirror Force (and now the feared D-Prison), opponents can choose to chain the ever so prominent T-Roar or even Waboku before you enter your battle phase. Plus 1600 ATK is laughable. Luster Dragon is filling a spot that can easily be replaced, same with Spear and WTF is Exiled Force doing in here? You're better off taking advantage of Fissure or even Smashing Ground (which you are). Exiled takes up your normal summon, which is a BIG part of a Dragon deck.

You're spell lineup can be modified a twinge. Inferno Fire Blast isn't all that it's cracked up to be...when you can swing in for 2400 direct regardless. Dragon's don't need to deal direct effect damage, they can attack through pretty much anything. As mentioned above, unless you're really adamant about keeping B. Skull (which is not recommended), the Poly's can go. Your removal in both rows is decent, but can be modified. Also, ADD FUTURE FUSION. It's a Dragon's best friend.

You're Traps can be fiddled around with, but it's all a matter of preference. Bottomless is great this format, so is Torrential, Mirror Force, basic staples you're missing. If you want to run Sakuretsu, D-Prison is the greater choice. Dragon's Rage is actually good tech in this format, with recruiters, Ryko's, and Hamster's running wild.

I'll post a list of tweaks in a bit.

try using Vanguard of the dragon its a good way to bring out red eyes and then remove it from play to summon darkness metal it also works with blue eyes hyzonryu(or however you spell it ) and etc.
