Wel,without the failed attepmt, there really wouldn't be an anime, noe would there?
So no. That would be an anime filled with happy love and joy where everything goes right all the time. Not my style, girl. I'm a hack and slash type of girl who dislikes happy endings. stare

I would have to agree. With out the failed human transmutation there wouldnt be a need for the anime. Which in other words-alot of characters wouldnt need to make an apperance
Example-Roy Mustang would not be need and a bunch of fangirls would be very sad.
No evil palm tree (Envy) To argue if he's a boy or a girl.
That would also mean no huges and his talk of his daughter. (Is that a bad thing?)
No Armstrong and his sparkels (Oh noes!)
And the anime would basically have no need in general-Thus making alot of fangirls not really care. And- we wouldnt know Edward Elric-The genious Prodigy child who has automail limbs.
Also-how would the military ever find out that King Bradly is a homuncuili??
