I don't even know. Really. I'm sort of neutral, but I swing towards the it's-kinda-cute end and the it's-a-little-creepy end randomly.

I can find a couple cute, but I won't be looking up fanfic of real people - like, say, for Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law and Rubber Ducky Jr. are acting very friendly in all the interviews and I'm basically considering those two ~special friends~ but it's their fault for saying such suggestive things.

But that's pretty much as far as it goes, speculation and slight fangirling.

I can do celebrities because they are kind of characters themselves and perhaps people I know really well. It depends on the person. Like my friend and I slashed two of our teachers and I have an entire story where all of my guy friends are slashed with each other.

I think it's fine, honestly, as long as it's reasonable.

Like these two guys in my class: straight as anything, but they have a loving and obvious bromance going on. They're always hugging and jumping on each other and stuff...so that'd be plausible. Just as an example.

Anyway, I personally don't get any satisfaction out of real people slash. Like, I'll see fan fiction for it, and it bothers me because these are people we hardly know. We know next to nothing about their personalities or the inner workings of their minds well enough to write them accurately and do them justice. With a fiction character where we're told their thinking processes, their values, their deepest inner workings, then we can more accurately portray them in a fan story. With real people, we don't get that, and people tend to just make stuff up about their personalities, and that seems a bit disrespectful to them since they're real people and not just characters fabricated from an author's mind.

I dunno. It just bothers me. xD I don't have a problem with the fact that it exists, but I personally can't get any enjoyment out of RL slash. •

Eh... I have a friend that is really into Tokio Hotel rps and another that used to be into J2, so I've gotten used to curbing my tongue.

Honestly though I think it's really insulting, bordering on... what's the word? Libel or somethin'?

Fanfiction/art is great because they don't actually exist (even if the art mimics the appearance of actors, because they're well, acting), and their personalities are generally fully or near-fully shown in their source material. You can actually observe their lives through the manga/movie/etc. But with a real person, you can't do it. You see a face that they present to the public and that's about it.

Plus, I find it a little creepy. Like a cameo is great but when it turns into porn, it's just. Eh.

And I'm really big on showing respect to people I don't know personally. I can't even call actors/musicians by their first names, so even thinking about rps makes me start to twitch.

The only time I slash people together is only when it comes to One Life To Live. They have a couple on there called kish when it comes to oliver & kyle which I like alot. I know the guys arent really a couple off the show but I cant help but love the pair alot on the soap opera. I have found so many websites made by the fans who like the couple on the show. That is the only time I have ever slashed two people together.
