He was the captain of the baseball team. He had everything going for him: parents that were wealthy, good looks, good grades, and was on the verge of getting into any school. But He wasn't exactly happy, at least not all the way. Until He met Her. She wasn't exactly the most popular girl in school, and He knew that. But He loved her anyway. The relationship progressed as it should have, and everyone was happy, until the night of his biggest game.

The big game was about to start, and the crowd was calling His name.She was in the stands, like always. But there was a pained look on Her face, and He knew something was wrong. She didn't want to tell Him, but He wouldn't play untilShe told Himwhat was wrong.

She was pregnant.

She wanted to just take care of the baby herself but He wouldn't let Her. He quit the basketball team to be with Her.

Can they make it work, or will they give up?

Emma's alarm went off with a loud shrill and she sat up in bed, pretty much scared awake. She wiped at her eyes, getting the sleep out and slowly slid out of bed. She had to, seeing as how she was six months pregnant. Had she tried to get out of bed fast, she probably would have fell flat on her face.

She went through the motions of her morning slowly, still feeling sluggish from her lack of sleep last night. The baby had started kicking, and it had kept her up. She brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, washed her face. Her mom was starting to think she was having a girl, considering she was carrying so high. She could still fit into her jeans, had just needed to buy bigger shirts.

Soon, she was done and out of the house, walking to school.

Chase woke when he alarm went off and he let out a groan. He reached over and turned it off then he slowly rolled out of bed, he had stayed up really late thinking about Emma, pregnant, it was so hard to get over the fact that his girlfriend was pregnant!

He went to his closet grabbed clothes then went to the bathroom, he undressed and took a quick shower which took about five minutes then he got out dried off and got dressed, putting on semi-baggy black jeans, with his blue plaid shirt, his favorite outfit, then he put on a pair of converse brushed his teeth then brushed his hair with his comb and fixed his piercings.

Soon enough he was going out of his house with his ipod ear phones in his ears.

Even before Emma had gotten herself pregnant, people looked at her speculatively. It was just worse, now that she was pregnant. She was lugging her back pack around by the strap, and everyone seemed to have their eyes glued to her. She suppressed a sigh and got to her locker, starting to unload some of her books. Her back hurt enough as it was, she didn't need the added weight.

She accidentally dropped one of her books and sighed. Bending over was kind of hard, but no way was she going to ask someone to pick it up for her. She bent down slowly, her fingertips brushing the book a few times before she was able to grab it and stand up slowly, putting it into her locker.

Chase got to school then he went inside and headed for Emma's locker figuring she was there and she was, he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her gently and leaned over kissing her cheek. "Hey." He whispered then he gently rested his hands on her stomach, feeling it was so large was just really making him feel guilty, having a pregnant girlfriend was just really hard to deal with, he wanted to help her out with the baby, its just the problem with that is school.

Chase slowly let go of her and moved over leaning against the locker next to her and he looked at her smiling. "How is my beautiful girl this morning?" He asked, trying to forget she was even close to pregnant.

Emma didn't look Chase in the face, not at first anyway. She knew what look she would see on his face, and this morning she didn't need anymore depression. She knew that he felt bad about what happened, but she knew he felt even worse about quitting everything he'd been doing so he could come to her. She'd told him that she would have taken care of the baby herself, and wouldn't have come after him for anything.

But Chase was stubborn sometimes.

She put a smile on her face and looked over at him. "Fine. What about you?" She closed her locker and locked it, then put her back against it. She had a good 10 minutes before she needed to get to class.

Chase knew something was on her mind but he decided not to bring it up. She seemed... Mad, he really hated it when she was like that though, she never looked happy. He looked at her and shook his head. "Don't lie and I know that smile is fake." He said as he moved closer then he got off the locker and moved infront of her. "Emma, you don't have to be so sad an emotional, althought I know being pregnant will make you that way, or at least I heard it does, but... I just don't want to see you all depressed." He said as he leaned foreward and gave her a kiss on her lips. His hands on her stomach gently, as if he were waiting for a kick.

"I realize that Chase." But her words weren't angry, just tired. She was always tired now, and she wanted to go back to what she had been before she got pregnant. But that wasn't going to happen, and she knew that.

When he leaned down to kiss her, Emma couldn't help but sigh against his lips happily and lean up, linking her arms loosely around his neck. She had never really understood why Chase had picked her, out of all the girls at the school. It wasn't like she was ugly or anything,s he was just......average. And Chase was extraordinary. She smiled against his lips when he put his hands on her stomach and broke the kiss, looking up at him.

He looked a bit upset feeling her sigh against his lips, even though she was pregnant didn't mean she couldn't be herself anymore and all... Once she broke the kiss he looked at her and smiled some. "The baby kicked." he whispered as he kept his hands on her stomach and he kissed her forehead then pulled away from it. "You know, just because your pregnant, doesn't mean I will be upset or anything, its actually... Kind of nice that your pregnant." He said honestly. It was hard to say that, but he was waiting for something really exciting to happen in his life, and this was way above exciting.

Emma actually smiled a real smile when he said that. "I know," she said happily. The bell rang shrilly, and she lugged up her back pack onto her back. She was glad that school was over in a couple of weeks, and then she was going to have the baby in the summer. She and Chase hadn't really decided yet what they were going to do, but they would get to that.

Chase smiled. "There's the smile I wanted to see." He said as he reached up gently brushing his hand against her cheek. "You know I love you right?" He asked calmly, not really caring if the bell rung, although Emma probably would care about it. If she was late that is. He stayed close to her anyways, hopeing she didn't mind this.
