When buying cards, mainly off eBay, watch out for OriCa cards. These are fake cards, which the sellers admit to being fake, made for people to use unofficially so they can can use rare cards in friendly duels.

The main example at the moment is the Seal of Orichalcos which there are several of on eBay. Remember these cards are not Yu-Gi-Oh cards and cannot be used in tournaments of any level. They are OriCa's and can only be used in a friendly duel with your friends as you would use the original Egyption God cards.

For those thinking it's actually legitimate, note the Card Code right under the card art on the right.

Now two things wrong with this. First, it's in some weird font that the card code is not normally in.

Second, look at a legal card. It has FOUR letters, a hyphen, then the number of the card prefixed by the two letter abbreviation of the region of the card.

There has never been a card in the US with a two-letter set code, and while it was done in Japan once upon a time, it has now synchronized with the US releases' four-letter set code.

Just an FYI for people who would disagree and try to buy it.

Well I had a friend who's cousin made some fake cards and made him a sweet blue eyes and tried to trick me into was real. But I knew it was fake because of the little yugi imprint below the cards.
But the card still looked sweet ...I think it was called Cyber Blue Eyes Tyrant or something......but man that card looked sweet.
