I believe it's due to it's international success unlike MtG which while it is available outside the US is mainly concentrated there.

How in my gods name did this beat MtG, I mean I like more games but really.... Magic's been around since 93'.... Im going to go cry in a corner and beat some light sworns tomarrow morning.
And also on a side note has anyone played a deck exactly from the show and have wn with it in a tournement, because an old friend of mine tried to do that, and its horrible.

wow, Yugioh beat MtG, I wonder what those jerks playing MtG a few years back who made fun of me for likeing Yugioh are thinking right now, assuming the know about this.

biggrin way to go for YuGiOh! oh, and by the way (and I know whoever enjoys the TCG game might be thinking this also, but I'll say it anyway), YUGIOH RULES!!!. And to anyone wanting to debat this, I would like to point them in the direction of the World Records as proof, thereof.
