well, i hope Konami is happy. they didn't bother touching Lightsworn last banlist, and look what's happened. over 1/3 of regional and national decks are LS or LS-variants. with double Judgment Dragon and double Gold Sarcophagus to search it (not to mention triple Honest, which is about to reprinted), they pretty much run this game. i side in 2 Brain Golems, 2 Light-Imprisoning Mirrors, 2 Divine Wraths and even 2 Dimensional Fortress Weapons, yet i can barely defend myself against them anymore. in my honest opinion, Lightsworn decks are as powerful as Tele-DAD and Synchro-Cat were, if not worse. my local tournaments are swarmed with AT LEAST 4 Lightsworn decks each week. if i had the capability, i'd put these on the banlist to slow them down:
Newly Banned: Judgment Dragon
Newly Limited: Gold Sarcophagus Charge of the Light Brigade Solar Recharge Honest
okay, rant over =3

yeah now a days its all about having all of the cards of a set to make a deck. I kind of liked it when there were no sets just cards that you had to make decks around.

LS is NOWHERE near as powerful as Tele-Dad was. If you weren't around during that format, that deck had no equal, at best, 1 or 2 LS decks would worm their way into top 16. Also, regardless of how many people USE LS, it has still only recently just won 2 jump, and it was technically a twilight deck, even though it's the same deck, just with more darks pretty much. Also, you don't sideboard very well against LS 2 mind crush, D.D Crow, and 2 Kycoo should be all you need if you have a good enough deck. I don't have problems with LS, I don't really lose to them, if I do, it's because of JD, that is the only real problem with the deck, and that only needs to go to 1. And I know it's not as powerful as synchro cat in it's prime, that deck won nationals.

Enemy of a Lightsworn is a godly mill deck that buttrapes the stall. Lightsworn mills itself then being milled by a mill deck there goes half the deck first turn.

When has that EVER been a bad thing? you most likely just milled a wulf or two there, set up celestia/JD plays. Not to mention, against a stall deck, Lyla, ryko and cold wave say sup

It is over powered. They can either drop JD and blow up the field minus JD, Summon Celest to kill and 2 cards which is easy enough with Wulf being so easy to special summon by a mill effect or Foolish Burial, or just swarm the field with Lumina's effect.
With Honest to kill and high ATK monster, Necro Gardna to protect monsters, a draw and a search spell cards and a trap to put all your favorite monsters into your hand, it's the easiest deck to run.

By the next list, I doubt that there will be any need to do anything to LS.

BTW LS deck has blown 2 bribes and a solemn on g-bind level limit and solemn. flip needles mill 15 sac all three for obelisk and attack for game after a nice lightning vortex. that lightsworn player was freaking out then again round 2 he lost because he could not use JD's effect and then it got lava golem'd. I was fun to watch. Jevan R. H. Divinitive It is over powered. Dethclock giant rat dies get needle worm inferno reckless get 2 more You cannot activate Inferno Reckless Summon in response to the resolution of Giant Rat's effect, because it occurs in the Damage Step. Try again. To the OP, it's just a b***h-fit, but Lightsworn are very simple to take out. Tournaments show that. Top seat belongs to Zombies this format, because they provide a swarm and field clear that's set in stone, much like TeleDaD did. And no, Lightsworn does not compare to TeleDaD. The problem is that you just suck.

LS are not much of a problem, they never really were, actually. If you have to rant about an archetype, then choose Blackwings or Zombies.
