why i want to mentor:
i dont know theres just something about seeing others improve that makes me happy especially if i helped with that improvement so i plan to use this to help you other aspiring artist out there IMPROVE!!

strong points:
~anatomy (id like to think so at least)
~posing (i like thinking up weird poses)
~shading (somewhat )


im bad at:
~drawing boobs (DX i know bad me but i just find them hard to draw)
~hair (idk my hair just comes out boring)
~coloring (still learning so help me improve eh?)

im gonna stop the mentee thing and just help out anyone who needs help O uO so feel free to ask me for redlines tips and whatnot and critiques

Here is my DA, there aren't alot or much as there should be but, I hope this helps lol. Most of my drawings are on photobucket >_>;

Also would it be okay if I can use my cell phone to take pictures? Because I don't have the computer my scanner is installed on. My brother is currently fixing it. And If your worried about the quality of the cellphone pictures, their not that bad honestly smile

oh and i only give out real assignments during the weekend
since i know some people have school lives and sometimes cant draw because of it
Though it would be nice if you could go in posemaniacs during weekdays and work on the the 30 second drawing excecises which you should set to 60 seconds first then gradually move down
this'll give you a basic understanding of anatomy and could lessen the number of strokes you use on your drawings

Okay i hope you dont mind but ill be giving you your first assignment already~
deadline is sunday
just draw any fullbody you like it doesnt matter what pose you use or style i just want to see what youve got so far ^^ that way ill know what we need to focus on improving

I don't mind, I'll have it on Sunday but it might be late sunday. I have to work late tonight =o and need to write up a speech outline.

well i can see that you need a bit more work on anatomy then after that well have to work on your detailing like the toes adnd whatnot and folds on clothing

Okay, lol I try but atleast you can tell what I was trying to do right? And she's wearing dark stockings but yeah I do need help with the feet and details for clothes. (( Also, I need help with hands, but her hands are susposed to be hidden in this picture ))

well even if she was wearing stockings you should still show where the toes are and whatnot
ill do a red lining for you in a bit ^^
so yeah during this this week
just work on those 2-3 60 second pose drawings
to practice on anatomy and also try the hand models they have there

okay first off sorry if i inverted the image >w<
i find it easier this way now onto corrections

hair~i added some detail to the hair because it looked too plain and notice i covered the neck a bit more just those little things can really make the hair look better

shoulder~the shoulders i red lined because they looked too manly and we dont want that since shes a girl right?

clothes~again a little detail goes a long way here ^^ adding a few folds here and there can really brighten up the clothing
a good practice i suggest is covering a cough or chair with a blanket then drawing that along with the folds you see on it

feet~ even if she were wearing stockings you should still try to show where here toes are and i also corrected her other foot since it was too straight feet have curves too XD

so i hope this helps you somehow if not tell me and ill try explaining it better

Lol I tried to give it curves, I erased that foot some many times til I was like 'eh this will do' xD

It helps, I know I have some questions about it but I can't think of any. But yeah, thanks =)
