So... anybody remember Mr. Hooper? Or even his death?

I'm afraid I'm too young to have seen anything Hooper-related during it's original run, but Mr. Hooper seems like he was an awesome guy.

XP I've actually never really watched Sesame Street.

Then again, I hardly watched anything outside of Fox Kids for a while. xD I never saw Lambchop, Sesame Street, a few misguided months of watching Barney...but I did love Reading Rainbow!

I've watched older Sesame Street stuff... it's awesome. I hear the show has gone downhill in recent years tho.

I've had people tell me that they destroyed Cookie Monster. Along the lines of he use to eat cookies all the time, but now he's pretty much the Sometimes Cookie Monster.

It's curious how something can be named the Cookie Monster and only sometimes eat cookies. >.>

I remember Mr Hooper, I liked him, but I didn't know he died, I thought he just left the show.

As for Cookie Monster, hes gone PC, the whole world is now PC, so since cookies are a 'sometimes food' then he now eats them 'sometimes' since it is bad to have kids eating cookies all the time and thus is a bad role model (as if a MONSTER is a good role model anyway XD) and so he now eats fruits and vegies and meat etc.

as far as i remember, he was with them from the beginning. that's when i started watching, anyway.

i just thought it must be painfull to play as the elephant
if you look on youtube the early version of cookie monster ate a machine and looked very weird.
